Aah not like that bro, all these bikes r very competitive products, so they kind of set benchmark of other competition n develop accordingly. So the fact is any motorcycles these days will have 7-8 good points n 2-3 bad points. I highlight the things I like n things I do not like, but I create these videos for you to keep in mind of these points and observe the bike while taking a test ride, thats what will help u in understanding a bike better in that short test ride. These videos are practical videos for your reference brother. Exactly this is why I stopped going for media rides, because you can never understand a bike completely with just a track ride or a 2hr ride, only when u spend one full day u understand how much pain u get in ur butt 😁 Therefore I decided and asked companies to give me bikes for such long rides so that I behave like an owner to the bike and not just a reviewer. But yes afterall I am a motorcycle lover, so I like every bikes n get excited to ride them, but yes I do highlight the things I do not like too😁 Achha to add u might have not seen me riding or reviewing a Beneli or CF moto as I avoid some brands that r totally unreliable of its presence in India, so I don't want my audience to get stuck with a motorcycle with very low brand presence in future. In short I actually review only those bikes that is a worthy purchase for our audience.
Most bikes are a lot better than we are or our capabilities are. Please see a video from powerdrift, 'your bike is better then you' by shumi. You'll understand. This particular ride bulu went, it's a challenge for any rider, the bike contributes too. But today we have a lot of capable bikes which are better than us

Confused between speed 400 and Scrambler because I am not a regular bike tourer . I may do two or three tours per year. I have been planning for Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh too.
If you are not a regular tourer and looking for a bike for trips only go for Himalayan 450. Triumph is built for daily usage and touring. But a complete tour with luggage and pillion will be better in Himalayan.
The throttle plastic of my triumph scrambler is too loose. It wobbles and nake tak tak sound. Showroom guys are saying its normal but it ruins the whole ruding experience. What to do?
I am facing stalling & power shutting issue in my Scrambler 400X which I’m running for about 8 months. Sometimes the bike gets stalled in 2-3rd gear & sometimes it gets power cut while downshifting at higher speeds in 5-6th gear. I pull the clutch for downshifting while slowing down not even I have slightly released the clutch it gets power cut. Moreover sometimes there’s a slight delay in power delivery which isn’t a concerning issue for me but I’m too bothered about the above two as in cruical time when I need to accelerate it stalled & led me into an accident 😢. Comfort stability looks quality suspension set up even the low end torque is very good & I like it. My own brother rides speed 400 we both haven’t faced any such issue with the speed. But my other friends having scrambler are also complaining about the same. Everytime we go service centre they try their best either by giving ECU update or by servicing but everything goes well for 10-15 days again the same problem persists . I have mentioned Triumph but everytime they send me service centre & the cycle repeats. Sir, if you have faced any such problems or have any solution please let me know . I love ❤️ my scrambler very much like you do but I want to resolve this power shutting issue 🥺.
Very aptly putn explained the experience. This helps a lot. However, the only missing info, which is important to know is: How are the BRAKES and HEATING on this tour? Any small details would help. Thanks in advance 😊

Can you compare the NX500 touring and city commute friendlyness to scrambler 400x. i think since you own both you are the right person. my NX500 delivery is getting delayed. is it worth waiting ?
I want to ride with pillion and luggage, should I buy himalayan 450 or 400x I am bit confused or should I wait for ktm390 adv kindly response. My riding style is but aggressive, currently riding yamaha sz-rr dad's bike it will be my first bike. To be very honest i don't think any of them will be reliable like yamaha as that is already clocked almost 60k kms not spent much yet only tyre battery and mobile change recently changed the front brake calipers as I normally uses only front brake never skid yet, i test driven both and felt 400x breaking is bit dull.
It should sir, bash existing problems ko solve karke launch karna chahiye, already existing Himalayan buyer's r frustrated with frequent showroom visits.

I marvel at your expertise to ride deftly on 835 mm seat height inspite your 5.3 ft frame. Would love to know whether CB 350 would have satisfied you more than Triumph scrambler and if not why?

On my Inty im in 6th, yet search for Top. Or sometimes in 5th i think its Top. Bulu, im off to Zanskar and beyond next week on Scrambler400x, have got sidestays, rear rack and engine guard. StockSeat absolutely fine i think. Any heating? Thanks again Bro for well made well ridden review
Hi bro yes u said it correctly the RE has longer tank range suspension travel n 21inch For zanskar Scrambler absolutely fine n u will not feel stressed atall
Firstly it's a privilege to see you and I hav been watching all your videos and tips that you share with bikers are top-notch, many buyers have been influenced by your review over their buying decisions I need your help over choosing the between triumph tiger 850 and v-strom 800 de Since this both motorcycles appear to have similar spec on papers I need your help in deciding with respect to reliability , maintenance and resale value in the Indian market
You change bike so often, how do you get rid of the old one? I have tried but the second hand bikes are do not fetch a decent amount to even partially fund a new one. How is the wheels performance on 400x?
Bro, I'm thinking of taking the Scrambler 400x in a week, but I think the handling is better on the Speed 400. My use is mostly in the city and I'm 6'2" tall. Please suggest which one to go for Speed or Scrambler ??
I was thinking the same when both were launched. But unfortunately, Triumph sales are not that high. I think main reason is RE has a huge reach and network in Tier 2/3 and other rural sites, where Triumph has not reached and might take much much longer. Till the RE will have big sales figures.
@@rohithrajan04 how satisfied u are with the bike bro ? If u have to purchase a bike today and u are 5'10 well built Want to cruise in city and highway what would u buy under 3 lakh (in case if u have to ride with pillion with same height and built)
@Royalsingh77 I am not familiar with pricing of all of them, but you can test drive the vstrom if you like. It's been really easy for me. Also I recently got to ride the Mavrick 440 which was really good. Not sure the exact price though. Scrambler 400 I have not ridden but almost everyone has good opinions on it and it's suspension. Himalayan will be good for your frame and built but ofcourse it is a heavy motorcycle and RE service has mixed opinions.
Bulu bhai samaj main nahi aah raha ,,dil mange honda cb 350, but pratical triumph 400 x,,confused,,wife ke sath travel karna hai comfort kaunsa better rahega??
Sir, if I may try to clarify your thoughts. I have been an owner of Honda h'ness for the last 4 years, done 75000 kms till date. If your sole purpose is a comfortable city commute and occassional highway rides Solomon with a commuter, you would be better off with Honda. If you want to go on trails and hills and want longbdistance highway tourings then Scrambler 400x would be an ideal choice. Both bikes offer ease of you, reliability and comfort.
Please help me choose between interceptor 650 and triumph scrambler 400x or should I wait for royal enfield scrambler 650. My requirements are 1. Power should be above 40 bhp and torque should be at least 35 n-m at around 4000-4500rpm. Recently I've sold my Duke 390 2017 model which i enjoyed very much. The only problem was the power and torque delivery at lower rpm, that's why I sold this motorbike. 2. I ride In the city ( not much, around 5 km every day), 200-300 km ride on weekends and 500 to 1000 kms ride occasionally. 3 . Should have a mileage of at least 25 kmpl or above in hghiways. (I ride calmly around 90-110 kmph) On highways) 4. must have good service( I was not happy with ktm's service quality and parts availability)
Bro both of these bikes are my favourites in segment, Maverick is good for highway runs, this is good for mixed rides... overall I think this will be a better product.
What about pillion comfort ? Is it comfortable to ride with pillion for long highway rides ? 🤔 I'm from Assam. Keeping in mind the road conditions in Northeast what bike would you recommend considering pillion comfort 😁
Yes brother it should be week only as on trails we don't need to jam our brakes n fall, if u r only travelling on highways then u can replace the brake pads with the Speed 400 pads

Bulu bhai I have bought scrambler 2 days back. My height just seems like you. Cant grab the tank properly from the knees and handle bar dosent seem stable or due to too wide and bit unconfident in traffic slow speeds. Pls give some tips on how did you manage with the bike. 🙂
I own a dominar 400 2018 model. Should i go for scrambler 400x as an additional bike in my garage ? Will this add a dent to my finances in terms of maintainance of 2 bikes ? I am in love with this bike. Please suggest. Also i live in Bangalore. Hoping to catch up some time.
@thelostrambler1879 Hello Buddy, It totally depends if you really want to have another bike in your garage because it will cost you close to 3.25 lacs in your hometown & investing 3.25 lacs some where else will be worth the money until and unless you are a regular traveller as Dominar 400 is a beautiful touring machine for sure. It can check mark 8 points out of 10 while comparing it with Triumph Scrambler 400X. I am coming from Triumph Speed 400 and clocked more than 5000 KM on the same and I have a test ride Scrambler 400X which is almost the same as Speed 400. Points To Remember: 1. Short gearing makes it very very easy to ride at 4-5 gear even on 30-40 KM Speed. 2. The machine is agile and maneuverability is so much sexy like a cake walk. 3. Suspension setup is chomeshwari, you will love it for sure. 4. Performance is super duper excellent till 100-105 KM Speed but on paper 39.5 BHP does not justify in the real world for sure as RPM limiter is at 12,000 but it's start raving and vibrating from 6500 itself. 5. Mileage is 22-26 depending upon the riding style. 6. Service will be at every 16,000 KM or one year which ever will be earlier makes it super duper value for money but to be honest this will require regular check ups after every 3000 KM for its good health. 7. Fit and finish is something which no one can match for sure in the 3 Lacs price bracket. 8. My height is 5'5, this is why I opted Speed. However if the height is more than 5'7. Scrambler makes more sense and it's road presence is way for beautiful than Speed 400. Although riding taller bikes is a skill but if you are a regular traveller, you have to opt according to your height buddy as 795 MM seat height and 835 MM seat height is a marginal difference. 9. Both Speed and Scrambler are very good touring machine where slight off roading can be done on Scrambler. However, Speed is slightly better on highway and while cornering as well due to its good set of tyres. Dude, if you really need a bike then go for it blindly. Just for the sake of how good the bike is and if you are not clocking more than 5000 KM every year will let you think if it's a good investment or not. Triumph will be launching Thurxton or Tiger as per the rumors. The upcoming bikes will be more refined hopefully and will eliminate all the flaws that both bikes has. I hope It makes some sense to you. Keep riding and stay safe.
Sir, I am confused in Dominar 400 and Triumph 400x. I am a normal highway cruiser with some mind off roads depends on the road condition. Please suggest a good pic from these two or should I go for KTM ADV 390?

Aah not like that bro, all these bikes r very competitive products, so they kind of set benchmark of other competition n develop accordingly.
So the fact is any motorcycles these days will have 7-8 good points n 2-3 bad points.
I highlight the things I like n things I do not like, but I create these videos for you to keep in mind of these points and observe the bike while taking a test ride, thats what will help u in understanding a bike better in that short test ride.
These videos are practical videos for your reference brother.
Exactly this is why I stopped going for media rides, because you can never understand a bike completely with just a track ride or a 2hr ride, only when u spend one full day u understand how much pain u get in ur butt 😁
Therefore I decided and asked companies to give me bikes for such long rides so that I behave like an owner to the bike and not just a reviewer.
But yes afterall I am a motorcycle lover, so I like every bikes n get excited to ride them, but yes I do highlight the things I do not like too😁
Achha to add u might have not seen me riding or reviewing a Beneli or CF moto as I avoid some brands that r totally unreliable of its presence in India, so I don't want my audience to get stuck with a motorcycle with very low brand presence in future.
But today we have a lot of capable bikes which are better than us
I would like to know what would have been your experience if you had picked Honda NX 500 to the same trip. I know Triumph and Honda NX is not a relevant comparison. But still I want to know how the bike would have taken you to the most challenging terrains.
In one word - EXPENSIVE!
Triumph Scrambler 400x vs Honda NX500 needed if possible please discarding the budget
Bro still I feel Scrambler is better value for money, I mean u may not be able to justify the price for NX for what u get.
And this is a very honest opinion😁
@@BuluBiker thank you for your opinion. Really appreciate it Bulu sir. I own Honda Hness since an year and love it. But now due to its stiff suspension I am getting back pain.
There are some customers complaining about the bike not starting occasionally with service centres struggling…have you faced such an issue?
"Deshi vlogger" from West Bengal have done Sandakphu in his Himalayan 450 few weeks ago ,and he was struggling so much 😢he is also very experienced pahadi rider!
What to do?
Yar mai bahot confuse hu bulu bhai scrambler vs himalyan please suggest only waiting for your reply bulu bhai
Bro did they resolve your issue ?

as deep ranjan sachan states in his video that while crusing at 100-110 engine keeps rpm around 6000 which is more than any other bikes does it feel fatigue to rider while on high run on highways ?
Scrambler 400 has engine Stalling issue at lower RPM at 1/2 gears , is it Right❓
Bullu bhai, would love to get any information on the pillion comfort of the Scrambler.
guerilla 450 if launched at 2.3-2.4 will be a better option girvn the recent success of himalayn??

Amazing content . Thanks for such indepth revelations based upon hands on riding experience on such inhospitable terrain about this bike . I marvel at your expertise to ride deftly on 835 mm seat height inspite your 5.3 ft frame. Would love to know whether CB 350 would have satisfied you more than Triumph scrambler and if not why?
Hi Bulu Babu
Thanks Bro for comprehensive review and for telling it like it is. Vis a vis 452,for bad roads, the Sherpa has 3 plusses..longerTravelSuspn, 21 inches & Spokes. And tankRange.
For everything else the 400x is better. You talked of gearbox..true. short, well defined gears means u know exactly which gear you are in, even without looking...one wont drive at wrong speeds gearwise.
Hi bro yes u said it correctly the RE has longer tank range suspension travel n 21inch
For zanskar Scrambler absolutely fine n u will not feel stressed atall

I wanted to know after sales service, availability of parts, if required?
You change bike so often, how do you get rid of the old one? I have tried but the second hand bikes are do not fetch a decent amount to even partially fund a new one. How is the wheels performance on 400x?
Usually my bikes sell in my own network, since my bikes r well maintained n loaded with accessories so I get good price for my bikes.
Bro, I'm thinking of taking the Scrambler 400x in a week, but I think the handling is better on the Speed 400.
My use is mostly in the city and I'm 6'2" tall.
Please suggest which one to go for Speed or Scrambler ??
was there a heating issue? what was the overall mileage?
Now sales of himalayan 450 ⬇️
Sales of scram 400 triumph ⬆️
I was thinking the same when both were launched. But unfortunately, Triumph sales are not that high. I think main reason is RE has a huge reach and network in Tier 2/3 and other rural sites, where Triumph has not reached and might take much much longer. Till the RE will have big sales figures.

Adv 390 with fuel x will work better in offroad?
Please help me choose between interceptor 650 and triumph scrambler 400x or should I wait for royal enfield scrambler 650.
My requirements are
(I ride calmly around 90-110 kmph) On highways)
4. must have good service( I was not happy with ktm's service quality and parts availability)

Performance wise no, but as a single bike garage for all purpose u can have scrambler
@thelostrambler1879 Hello Buddy,
It totally depends if you really want to have another bike in your garage because it will cost you close to 3.25 lacs in your hometown & investing 3.25 lacs some where else will be worth the money until and unless you are a regular traveller as Dominar 400 is a beautiful touring machine for sure. It can check mark 8 points out of 10 while comparing it with Triumph Scrambler 400X.
I am coming from Triumph Speed 400 and clocked more than 5000 KM on the same and I have a test ride Scrambler 400X which is almost the same as Speed 400.
Points To Remember:
Wry well explained . And really feels so genuine so are sharing your experience

Hi, Bulu. I follow your posts regularly and i truly admire your adventurous spirit. Well, i have one question, i am aware that the footrests are set a little backwards. Does that make your knees pain? I am 59 years old and 6 feet 2 inches tall.
Hi Sir thank you so much for your sweet comment.
Sir for my height absolutely no issues with the foot posture as the seating is tall, I have not even heard of any issues as such from any of my tall friends who r motorcycle reviewers.
But still I would suggest you to once take a test ride n if possible a slightly longer one that will give u an idea for your height sir.🙏
