Dance Scottish for International Day of Dance!

Earlier this year we were thrilled to have dancers from across the world joining us in Edinburgh to celebrate the Centenary of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society.
With many Branches and Affiliated Groups around the world you are never far from Scottish Country Dancing.
This dance, Mairi’s Wedding, is well known around the world for being a fun dance with fantastic tunes you can sing along to.

Set seen in foreground adds many spins, twirls, kicks, & high 5's that some teachers wouldn't cotton to. But all are having fun.

I suspect some of them trained with New Scotland Country Dance Society, I recognise the 'ceilidh' style we learnt there.
