Celebrating 100 years of music in RSCDS Edinburgh - The Roaring Twenties
For many, our Centenary Concert was the highlight of the RSCDS Dance Scottish Autumn Gathering weekend in November.
Our incredible musicians brought the evening to life with music from our new Centenary CD and beloved tunes associated with our Branch over the past 100 years. 🎶✨
A standout moment was the rip-roaring performance of The Boogie Brown by Andrew Nolan, featuring all four of our fantastic musicians-Muriel Johnstone, Peter Clark, Peter Shand, and Tim Macdonald-continuing seamlessly into Spootiskerry (I. Burns), The Barrowburn Reel (A. Harper), and Sleep Sound Ida Moarnin’ (Trad).
A celebration of music and dance to remember! 💃🎻

Schiehallion was used in 1774 for an experiment to estimate the mass of the Earth by means of the deflection of a pendulum by the mass of the mountain. Musicians: Jon Bews (fiddle), Reuben Taylor (accordion), James Gray (piano) Dancers: RSCDS Edinbu...
