Lyrics:
Yeah
Clean shirt, new shoes
And I don't know where I am goin' to
Silk suit, black tie (Black tie)
I don't need a reason why
They come runnin' just as fast as they can
'Cause every girl crazy 'bout a sharp-dressed man
Gold watch, diamond ring
I ain't missin' not a single thing
Cufflinks, stick pin
When I step out, I'm gonna do you in
They come runnin' just as fast as they can
'Cause every girl crazy 'bout a sharp-dressed man
Uh-huh
Top coat, top hat
And I don't worry 'cause my wallet's fat
Black shades, white glove
Lookin' sharp, lookin' for love
They come runnin' just as fast as they can
'Cause every girl crazy 'bout a sharp-dressed man
Oh, you can't lose with the dress I use
That's right, real fine

It’s a proven fact that this song can give anyone confidence!
Thank you, I send my so this song all the time, he had low self esteem but he got a great job, got contacts m, working out. And looks sharp everyday
Absolutely!!!
@@angelaleonard2434 Smashed this out at a karaoke 1st time last weekend. Killer track! Lady did indeed, go crazy...
Anything by ZZ.
fact!
Fun fact. ZZ top still has a warehouse full of cars in San Antonio. My dad used to maintain them. He was close friends with the whole group. That 32 Ford was a true delight
The Eliminator in the video is a ‘33, there were at least two of them built.
Is your Dad single? 💋
But it's a 33 in the showcase and a clone 34 he drives around.
No 32... You should know that better than anyone else given your story....
I don't even think ford had this model out in 32. I'd have to check.
@@VtecdippinBB6siR the 1932 Ford line up did have a three window coupe model but the 1933 Fords looked very different to a ‘32.
Is anyone out there still rocking with this great song in 2024?! Classic Rock rules!!!!!!!
Hell yeah
Never left, was always here
Me!
Я ! Сижу в ночи и наслаждаюсь !
What I love about ZZ Top was that they never took themselves too seriously. Sly, humorous lyrics and a sense of fun with their performances.
I like that they never followed the mainstream and just did their own thing. It was the mainstream that ran into them and never the other way around.
One of my greatest memories. My Dad, brother, and I (all heavily bearded men), were all going to a blues concert in a Chrysler 300. It dawns on me half way there, three men like us, going to a blues show in a big body Chrysler show car. All we needed to do was start saying "how-how-how" and start wearing shades in the dark.
LOVE THAT CAR!!
Yeah, especially with the bass with there absurd amount of strings

Yes so sad !!
Legends!!
All love from Sweden!!. ❤️
There will never be another decade like the 80's. And never another band like ZZ Top, that rule the radio waves again, like they did back then. It was one hell of a fun decade too live through.😎
Totally agree, they were minimalists. Although in blues, rock and electronica (mix of sonic styles), the instrumentation, drums, vocals are just enough. They leave you wanting more. That's probably the secret, although it was already a magic formula, just enhanced.
I love the guitar riff.
+cflores1889 the riff is an adaption of the riff from The rolling stones version of Chuck Berrys "Route 66"
Great in context with this song.
Spot on. I never knew that. Not just an adaptation. Plagiarism, Unless Berry/Stones rights owners acquiesced.
I do too!
I'd be thrilled if ZZ Top stole one of my riffs.
cflores1889 same too, it's a classic!
Just heard of the passing of Dusty Hill, he has spent the last 50 years rocking. May Heaven love ZZ Top as much as I do. Hope to see and hear them back together after God calls everyone home.

I'm a Thrash Metal head, but, all in all I must admit: ZZ Top is one of the TOP 5 of the best bands in the world. Amen.
First time I saw in ZZ was in 70’s. I was in front row every time. In Germany I saw many, but I had honor of seeing them every time they toured. Will always love you Dusty.
My grandpa just passed today, and ZZ was one of his favorite bands. I'll always think of him when I hear these guys. I bet he's rock' n all the way to the afterlife.

So you're saying now he gets to hang out with Dusty?
I was painfully shy & a total nerd back in the 80's. So I could've really used ZZ Top's fashion advice & their sweet SWEET ride to help me out with the ladies.
***** Haha. I can definitely relate to that. .
+Tobias Chance Given that I've detected a bit of a running theme in ZZ Top's videos (unpopular/nerdy loser type gets bullied for being unpopular/nerdy loser type, but then is transformed by a change of clothes and the power of rock into the person who gets ALL the girls/guys worth having and gets to rub it in their bullies' noses, and also get a ride in Eliminator with three smokin' chicks), I wonder if maybe the boys themselves were a bit of the shy, unpopular, nerdy types in high school...
rdfox76 That's true & a definite possibilty. But it's hard to imagine those guys as anything but cool. Maybe it was all those catchy songs, great guitar & awesome beards that ultimately transformed them into the badasses they are today. LoL
+KoolCat ! The vast majority of people who are considered "cool" in adulthood were nerdy and unpopular in their teens especially when it comes to rock and roll musicians. Most forms of rock music are made for outsiders, the ones who never fit in with any other crowd and were usually picked on by the self elected popular crowd.
+guitar19971 Very true. And that last part about R&R being made for all the outsiders is a great way of looking at it.
One of the first CDs I ever bought, from a catalogue no less. Greatest Hits - ZZ Top
Love the ZZ Top Girls!!!
I LOVE they come in and "Save the Day" for whom ever is being down trodden or picked on !!!!
Not Superman..but "Super Girls" !!!
I really like that in their videos they are helping people down on their luck rather than parading around the city showing off their bling and superfluous excess.
Exactly, unlike stupid rappers.
Back before America got so damn narcissistic.
Still nothin' like a sharp dressed man!!!
ZZ Top are too cool, and they dont even need to try. Pure Rock And Roll. RIP Dusty Hill you were a genius of your time.
Only got to see ZZ Top once, 1976 in Tampa, Florida for the Fandango Tour. Would have loved to see this show when it was new, sorry I missed it.
Love the old-style "cool" stuff from the 80s. I blast this stuff out of my pickup with the windows rolled down, driving thru the city and the country. It's cool everywhere you go
Was cool in the 80s, just overplayed radio dad rock now.
@@damone70 Maybe this song is, but ZZ Top isn't only Sharp Dressed Man, Legs and Gimme All Your Lovin', there's so much more to enjoy from this band and it would be a shame to dismiss it as "dad rock"
@@R.Lennartz ZZ Top is legendary. I love a lot of the stiff they don't typically play on the radio.
