I have 2 Barbour's a black Ashby and a grendle In olive, really like the Ashby but the grendle is without a doubt the best coat I ever bought, really wanted the Coll but think they stopped making them.
Barbour jackets are jackets for life. Very hard wearing, you can send them away for re-waxing or repairs. They are even more popular at the moment, because of the TV programme ‘The Crown’, (I don’t watch it), which is based on the Royals, and shows them wearing them.
Alright chaps, here's one for you all. Sylkoil or Thornproof? Really I'd go the Thornproof, but they don't do Olive :( If it's superior to Sylkoil though I'll settle on Sage

Love em. Probably own about 12 but i especially love the way they wear in & you get that lovely patina when you re-wax them.

Never try to wax it yourself we did my wife’s what a nightmare just send it to barber so much easier
@@Trainerguy44 I would. I know if I tried it, it would be a right mess. Plus, it’s not that expensive.
