@@tinykitchenuk so glad I found your channel and I just subscribed because I found a great bargain on quail eggs last night and was hoping not to screw up having them soft boiled .
Needless to say they turned out perfectly and they are of course gone .
But we'll have some tomorrow and off and on for the next week .
The reason I wanted to try them as I had heard they are about three times higher or five times higher in vitamin E than regular eggs .

The membrane is my issue,I can't get under it.Im gonna try baking soda in the water next time
Crack the top of the egg and peel, that should help with the membrane issue.

Judging by your accent, can I safely assume you're in Europe and starting with room temperature eggs? As I understand it, Europeans don't refrigerate their eggs, but in the USA we do.
