    I went with the X95 SBR and 26'' both in 5.56 and VHS2 instead. I agree on the trigger, X95 is lighter and smoother.
    X95 SBR offers a huge advantage on the size to bbl ratio tho, 22'' overall w/ 13'' bbl makes it about a Sandman S shorter than the VHS2. It actually fits light and lasers just fine being so short. X95 is definitely faster to operate but not as ambi. And the IDF mag coupler/technic makes 30+30 or 40+40 very easy.
    Granted, X95 likely needs a HERS and gasket port cover installed to be better at suppressed.
    For the full sized bullpup I would probably just go with the VHS2. Because of the accuracy and better buttpad, also the adjustable gas.

    Two great rifles, I ended up going with the Keltec RDB for the ergo, price, lighter trigger, better suppression . Great videos on the size ad weight comparison to Ar

    I’ve had my 300 Blackout X95 for some time now and with how much I find it as awesome as sliced bread, I’m surprised I haven’t picked up a T7. Note to self I really have to get around to that.

    I started with the AUG, then a few months later I got the Hellion, I like them both, haven't shot the Hellion more than 120 rounds, so I still need more time on it. But aesthetically speaking, greatly prefer the looks of the AUG.

    • @VictoryLapME
      @VictoryLapME  Рік тому +2

      Looks are looks. AUG and Hellion may be equal in aesthetics imo, edge to Hellion. Both are better looking than my X95. Yet the ergo of the X95 is superior over both to me. I'd like a shot at an original VHS.

    Nice comparison. So far so good on my trigger. I’ll be on the look out for issues. Rather than pinch the bolt release I roll my hand back and hit it with the inside of my thumb. Seems pretty fast to me but maybe still not as fast as the x95. I saw an X95 in 300 blk at my local shop but I’m keeping an eye out for a Tavor 7. That’s next on the list.

    Not sure if it is relevant Grand Thumb had a similar issue in his video around 11:10 his trigger was getting stiffer and stiffer until it wasn't resetting. Disassembling the rifle and reassembling it fixed the issue.

    • @VictoryLapME
      @VictoryLapME  2 роки тому

      Probably relevant. Ive left the pack in since the first strip down before shooting it. Ill inspect at 1000 rounds but will keep it in to see if I get the stoppage until then.

    In socialist controlled France the VHS is... 1400$ cheaper than the X95 ! The choice is quickly made in favor of the VHS, even counting an upgrade of the trigger. Mine is on the way. Thx for your review.

      @@VictoryLapME they are made in Europe and does not require some of the tariffs until it arrives in the USA. You can buy a Mercedes in Europe and it will be cheaper than it is in the United States. Basically the same thing. Also if you buy an AR15 in the United States and it is assembled there will be a $300 hidden tax built into the price. If you buy the same gun separately as a lower and upper then you do not have the $300 factored in.

      - Hefty weight of the Spingfield Hellion
      - the bad-ish trigger of the Hellion

      - on it bringing nothing new to the table.
