- How do Bullpups stack up? X95 vs Hellion trigger distance... Look at how the length of pull is compared. These platforms share some similarities. Weight distribution matters.

The balance of weight is very important… my vhs weights 5kg loaded with LPVO but the balance is all towards the back… a friend of mine have a 16” AR15 and his rifle currently weights 4.2/4.3kg yet it feels as heavy as the VHS due to the weight being much further away from your chest
Hey thanks for this video, this is probably one of the most useful videos regarding bullpups I've seen. I'm going to be getting a Hellion soon and I think the LOP wont be an issue for me!
Awesome video. Underrated. Thx!
Dude that's one awesome rifle collection.
Yeah when people complain about the weight of a bullpup they’ve obviously never shouldered one. I have a very light weight 16” AR and I don’t know if I could even shoulder it 1/3 of the time I can shoulder my VHS-2. The IDF would train one handed operation with the X95’s cause bullpups are still quite viable firing without a support hand.
Thank you so much for making this video!!!! You can't find this information anywhere.
Great comparison, thanks for making this.
Really good looking collection, my guy.
Options are opportunities lol
thanks for the video, using the modern isosceles stance, a proper LOP is very important
Pretty nice collection sir!!
You can swap out the butt pad on the tavor to shorten it and lighten it.
The OG butt pad is my preference. I have the aftermarket and the articulation on the shoulder are is not my fav, quality product though
Now pick up the two ARs with the stock collapsed and adjust them to length you actually comfortably use them put them back to do the measurements. The whole point of the bullpup is that it's so short in shooting conditions otherwise a folding stock beats literally everything on that table for storage.
Most viewing this video inherently know what you have stated. Not about beating anything, its for those to view and compare their length of pull to a bullpup. Collapsing a stocks here helps that assessment happen.
It would’ve been interesting to compare the bullpup lop to your preferred lop for the ARs with adjustable stocks. How much difference, in inches, would provide a clear metric for comparison. And help your point of dispelling preconceived notions about bullpups.
Cool Iget the suggestion but my preferences are not an interest to most. The video is to appeal to those who could deduce based on their length of pull that a bullpup is manageable even if the lop is not the same to an AR.
@@VictoryLapME I see. Thanks for the great video and reply!
it looks like the stocks are unnecessarily long on the bullpups to make that 26 inch requirement. keltec goes a different route on the RFB and RDB by giving them 18 inch barrels
The stocks were not built to accommodate a length. Priority is buffer system and bcg room/ durability/ function. Recoil is nice on these.
Both weapons were built as service rifles and most of their look is a necessity. Outside the adjustment added to the Hellion. Now they are civilianized so some comfort and spec may account for 15% thought in this configuration
@@VictoryLapME i don't think it's arbitrary that without a flash hider they are exactly 26 inches. compared to other piston guns, they have unusually long carrier travel. the MCX is a perfect example, the upper is the exact same length as on an AR15, that's the distance within which the carrier has to travel. yet you can clearly see that the distance the carrier travels in the hellion or tavor is much longer than an AR upper. and what about the AR18, or the SCAR, or any other piston "combat" rifle? and don't forget the BRN-180, ARAK-21, and other "civilian" rifles. they made it longer to meet a requirement. you don't need that length for the weapon to function.
@GovernmentOverreach there is a difference between the stock and buttpad
the lop of hellion is really looong,i cant understand y they want to install an extra stock on a bullpup
I agree. No need for it, the idea looks better on the spec sheet than in actual use.
First!😉
Thanks for checking it out
