  • I jigged up a bunch of fish and used my new air fryer to make a delicious meal fast and easy! The fishing wasn't so easy until I ran across some structure and saw a pile of fish on my fishfinder. This recipe is healthy and cleanup is effortless! If you like eating fish and don't yet have an air fryer, this video will show the advantages over other cooking methods.

    I find that 30-40 feet of water is the sweet spot for big Black Sea bass. I’ve caught plenty of 20+ inchers with a 3-4 ounce bucktail and a piece of cut up squid on it. In the early spring and late fall when they are hungry enough I’ve even had them hit top water lures. Super fun fish to catch and absolutely delicious to eat. Tight lines boys

    Tip: Hello John, the rack should go on that pan, and you put both the rack and pan in the oven. The pan will catch all the drippings and breadcrumbs from the product you are cooking.

    I thought you needed to drift when jigging for sea bass. You taught me something new (again). Here's a question about strategy: What is your next move if you are catching good numbers of sea bass on clams, and only a couple on jigs. Only 2 keepers out of 2 dozen. Do you move deeper? 55' depth, 67 degree water and current required 6 oz sinkers. Unfortunately I only had chrome jigs, but I tipped it with Gulp.

    • @JohnSkinnerFishing
      @JohnSkinnerFishing  3 роки тому

      I don't fish any bait for seabass because it attracts too many little fish of multiple species. As waters warm, I definitely move deeper for Long Island Sound seabass. Also, heavily fished areas see the keepers culled out within a couple weeks of the season opening.

I almost always out fished my friends on the boat when they were using chrome. I think down deep the color contrast as the lure darts and spins helps draw more strikes, at least it seems that way.
