I keep seeing Defender camper conversions and thinking how amazing they look but then I have to remind myself that owning one would mean having to DRIVE a Defender in order to make use of it. Defenders are fun to drive when you specifically WANT to drive one but I wouldn't fancy sitting in a cramped, noisy, rattly, dusty, cab for thousands of km while doing a long trip. You can always tell if somebody's a "serious" Defender driver because they'll have a pair of ear defenders hanging up on the dashboard.
I know you don't like the external look of the Crusinator conversion but it has so much more space inside than the Alucab or likes with the front hinged roof. Just need some refinement.
Andrew I really want to know what your take is on the Land Cruiser 70 series warbus (converted in Tanzania) and having it being converted into an overlander. It has a van like build but very capable off-road. I would really like to have your take on it. I think that’s the only 4x4 you haven’t had a review of.

But you already know she is, if your building a somewhat similar build to the Landrover you stayed in, while they slept in the trailer, then I thought a raised wedge roof, might be a first and also a diesel heater for the Mrs, enjoyed watching, peace to you and yours, 👍🚙👌🇨🇮☘️
