The EU is a large salad with the individual vegetables representing the countries within, and the UK (represented as a boiled potato) jumps out of the bowl hoping to land in another bowl but it underestimates the distance between them and ends up splattering on the ground. Belgium would be an endive. Ukraine is a beet that Russia beats up. (Pun not intended.)
