I don't eat a lot of cheese--but there seems to be some debate about butter (grass fed) and excess estrogen, and also there seems to research that cruciferous veggies can balance estrogen. What are your thoughts on this? I suppose adding these in would still keep me in ketosis. But I'd prefer to stay carnivore if possible.

I think that Shawn Baker was coming off of a steroid cycle at that time he recorded a low testosterone reading. He seems to get uncomfortable when its brought up. Whenever i am in ketosis, eat much more fat, my sex drive goes way up. as long as i am eating adequate calories. if i start reducing calories, things change.
So the main advocate for Carnivore has a 230 Testosterone level. This has me questioning if he abused or used Steroids in the past or the diet itself is causing this low level. Maybe a deficiency in Vitamin A, B9,C,D,E,K, Biotin, Potassium from just consuming only meat. I know there are Guru's online and they all have to make $$ but I can't let that happen if it could hurt a maybe "minority" of people who are already on the right track.

Maybe there was some ped use in the past. what would that show? that would show someone did damage to natural production that is generally considered irreversible and then reversed it. that would be a ringing endorsement for the diet. 4.) how about the various other people. I haven't checked my testosterone levels yet, but I can tell you I've never seen this kind of muscle gain in myself. I'm literally putting on more muscle than I did when I first started lifting right now. I was at the stage where I could expect 2-4 lbs a year if I was keeping dialed in and consistent, and now I've gained about 4lbs of lean mass in the last month. clearly it's working.

Took Tongkat puts me at 122 pg/ml within 6 days of use. Baker showed 50 pg/ml has to be something even over training could potentially hit this.

No thats a stereotype. Vegans for the most part have low T because they eat beans and soy products, but if you avoided estrogenic foods and ate a high carb vegan diet you would generate higher testosterone than a carnivore diet. Carnivore diet skyrockets SHBG, none of your T is available on this diet. And your DHT goes to the floor aswell

use DIM. it comes from cruciferous vegetables. But its a purified form of it in excess.
the amount in hormones in dairy products are insignificant. Apparently boron helps with estrogen dominance.

High testosterone means nothing if *shbg levels* are high, since it binds free testosterone. Carnivores need to check them as well.
Low SHGB indicates pancreatic injury, free testosterone is unbound and also part of a testo exam. They are claiming it improves free test as well.
