It’s pretty horrifying what the results of poor eating has done to society. It’s unfortunate that most people interested in making these changes are older people. I’m so happy my 21yr old son has joined me in eating carnivore. He’s overweight, depressed, and was starting to pass out. He finally broke down one day crying, saying he can’t keep living this way. Just 3 wks in he no longer feels faint, has lost 20lbs, and his mood is elevated.
I can't wait to see how lifelong carnivores will will in their 20s 30s 40s 50s 60s 70s 80s 90s 100s? 110s? 120s? 130s? I reckon quite a few are getting started now. Berry's youngest Becket is one but surely there are many more I hope i'll live to see some of those reaching senior citizen ages just out of curiosity. If it really is the proper human diet then what is a natural human life supposed to progress like

Comes out clean like a wild animal. and no mire discomfort or bloating at all when i keep the plants out. return when some slip in
My mother did not have breast milk for me, and we used to eat beef maybe once or twice a year (low fat cuts). I used to have a pound of two of beef liver during my menstrual cycle. Since I started eating carnivore and upped considerably my beef intake, my desire for liver went to zero. I eat it if nothing else available, but prefer preparing meat. I am more calm and focused, plus my breasts are getting fuller and bigger while I am loosing fat in all the right places . I was ridden with a pessimistic look on life and now that is changing

Tried the "carnivore sun experiment" this summer under our unexpectedly clear Tasmanian skies. For the first time in DECADES, I have a natural tan! (I'm fair-skinned and freckly by nature.) Ketovore for about 15 months now, and I feel better at 44 than I did in my teens/twenties. And with the biologically appropriate diet, my menstrual cycles are finally normalising. So yes, ladies: EAT THAT FATTY MEAT!! 🦁❤️
I didn’t believe it at first, but I work outside and I’m not having to wear sunscreen any longer either. I don’t know if it was the lack of plants, or the increase in fat, but one way or another I don’t burn as easily in the sun anymore.
I had a full hysterectomy after being in full menopause for 2 years. I am over 60 and have had hot flashes for over a decade, they come and go. I eat low carb, mainly beef and eggs. Wish the flashes would stop, but I notice my hair is getting thicker again and the new growth looks less gray, more dirty blond. Woohoo!
I wish I could get rid of them too, I have them bad and have not had good sleep in 6 years because of them. I tried everything, lots of money, no doctor will give me hormones, I only want bioidentical hormones but because I had breast cancer they won't prescribe.

I avoided fat for most of my life and have the messed up hormones to prove it!! Looking so forward to this video! Thank you Dr. Chaffee. Your content is so straightforward and has helped me tremendously as I’ve transitioned into Carnivore.
You sound exactly like me. All of my young years I never ate fat It was always low fat. Starving mode to stay slim. Lots of vegetables very little meat maybe 1 to 2 ounces at a time. Now at 67. I have become carnivore three months now. Gained a little weight but feel good. Still dealing with sleep issues
What y’all talked about the sun that was me. I haven’t worn sunscreen in 4 years since going carnivore. When I was little I didn’t burn much because I was always a meat eat. Then started adding in the SAD and started burning more. The more I tried to eat more plants the worse it was. Thank you for all the great information.
I was just starting my climb to carnivore when I had stopped my periods. But carnivore reversed that and now have regular periods. I'm not 100% yet, more 75% and the rest close to keto. I would say 5,6 months in. Light but regular and for the first time in my life, pain-free! Glad to be shedding uterous linings bc had pain before due to polyps. A lot of pain and my period was out of control before that pain began. Wish I had lost weight but the body is wiser than me and this is such a win.
Thank you Dr. Chaffee for really honing in on the dietary drivers behind hormonal dysregulation - especially in an age where infertility is on the rise at an alarming rate. The fact those who specialize in endocrinology rarely, if ever, focus on how foods can effect hormonal balance is an indictment of those who specialize in endocrinology.
Thanks! Excellent topical conversation about health in general. Thank you Dr. Chaffee and Simon Lewis for sharing your time in producing this educational video about health.
Dr. Anthony Chaffee in the house! Great interview with you and Simon. Would love to hear a show dedicated to someone middle age who may be already on TRT/HRT and then starts the Carnivore Diet. What bio-markers should they look at, when should they taper down, how long, etc.?
I have been on bio-t and started the carnivore way of eating. Within months all of my menopause symptoms are virtually gone. My hot flashes were often, aggressive, and intense! So much better now and I don't feel like I need the HRT anymore, for any symptoms.
@mtjcassidy hi. Have you gone off your bio-t since your last reply? I've been on carnivor for 3 months and trying to make a decision about bio-t myself. How r u doing now 1 year later if you're still on carnivor?..thanks😊
My sister has hypothyroidism and still insists on eating veggies. Mind you she’s a graduate of a nutrition program. She’s been told by her endocrinologist she can have them, including cruciferous veggies, as long as they’re cooked. No matter what I say she doesn’t listen because she loves veggies 🙄 and thinks she’s going to just lose weight by working out more.

By doing a Keto/Carnivore diet, you Are boosting your immune system. Cocktails are what Carb lovers require and do, as they are more frequently sick and lacking proper human nutrition.
Damn! That was an excellent interview video. Packed full of a ton of useful applicable information (ie., for me personally)...wow, that was super. Great video🏆👍
Females do not understand the importance of balanced hormones. Estrogen is what separates us from men! It gives us the feminine look plus it keeps out thyroid healthy. Not to mention avoiding female problems! Right now my hormones are all out of wack thanks to my gallbladder . It will be very interesting to see how my bloodwork improves on carnivore! Thank for the info!
Was diagnosed with Hashimotos 15 years ago and I take NP thyroid. Been carnivore for almost a year and now I only take half the amount of thyroid meds I used to and feel so much better! My labs are looking good, except some kidney stuff, waiting to see a nephrologist.

please dont let my questions get lost in the sea of comments. but after buying dr. pelz book fast like a girl she reports there are better ways to support hormone health by adding foods that help break down estrogen and increase progesterone. more than meat, including nuts seeds spinach and broccoli. im at a loss because i feel great being carnivore but if theres a better way to help aid my hormone health id do it! thank you in advance.
Problem is that doctors tell us that it is all part of getting old. I heard from a pair of docs that an other doctor at a convention said : " if you wake up one morning without pain you are probably dead," Only 180 degree doctors for me the rest of my life - combined with my own common sense .
Love the Doc's.. with all there high knowledge, problem is, they lack the knowledge of one's own true identity. So get that "High" knowledge first, WE are not body/mind apparatuses, truth. As the knower of the field [ body/mind] one must be the King of the temporal Kingdom, and listen to it, nuture it with best diet [ as AC,MD suggest's] and as he say's it will function optimally. Getting old?? BS.. there are some folks in there 80's/90's who can dance around many less then half their age, We see in real time this concept bear out each day. We fell so much compassion for the many in the world with obesity, poor health, are they that "weak"?? Strength is better than weakness!! Be the best u can be, present, here/now.
Hey Simon, not sure how to message you directly so I’m trying this approach. Can you please shoot me the immune cocktail you mentioned in the podcast? Thanks! Also, great job you guys are doing with this info!!!
bart k says take about 6 weeks to get into carnivore as microbiome adjusts. iam interested in some fermented foods and legumes (low gi and a little fibre to feed good bacteria). too many antibiotics means i need to improve microbiome
45:00 sounds a bit like German Body Composition (Charles Poliquin) training. You can program it so that every couple of weeks you reduce the rest period by 10 or 15 seconds. Nasty but great workout!
Around the 52 minute mark you state that the Maasai normally live to be 120 years old and dying at age 90 is considered young. Do you have a source for this information?
@@midnitehound Yes, that is what my research revealed as well. In fact, there is only one person that is known to have lived to 120 years and she was from France (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeanne_Calment) . I wish Dr. Chaffee would address this. It makes me doubt other claims he has made.
Great info, thanks. I had a full hysterectomy at age 38, on HRT up to the age of 54. I then had a DVT with two huge clots that had to be removed. The doctor told me to stop with my hormone replacement which then put me in menopause. Blood tests showed that my estrogen is very low. I have been on keto for about 2 years and lost 17kg. All of that i gained back after stopping my HRT and being in menopause. Started carnivore Jan'22. I feel great but still need to get to the losing some fat stage. My triglycerides are normal. I can't take estrogen due to the blood clotting. How do I get my estrogen levels to more of a normal level, will carnivore eventually help with that?
In surgical menopause as of last year, in my mid 50ties, can't have HRT due to cancer. My muscles have turned to fat. Just started carnivore. Weight not budging. It only will if I lower my fats. Frustrating.
Some women do lots of fatty meats and over time some women have adjusted their fatty meats to variations of fatty meats and lean meats (majority of people definitely had to cut out dairy, especially milk and cream they use in their coffee). Some carnivore coaches believe in counting calories and others dont. The coaches that do believe in counting calories said that they see the shift in weightloss. (But definitely cut out all dairy and coffee can be a major issue as well). So some people cut out butter and add beef fat (Tallow), olive oil or ghee. But try getting the majority of your fats from the meet.
I have been on bio-identical HRT for 30 years consisting of natural estrogen, progesterone & testosterone. If these are adjjusted periodically to suit your body signals, you should be fine. Unfortunately, the average practioner gives only pharmaceutical (synthetic) hormones, & that is where the problem lies. They are not the same as the natural version.
I'm on day 108 of carnivore. Around the times of my period and ovulation, I lose all the benefits I feel since starting. My debilitating mental health issues get worse. I'm trying to be patient, but I wish my hormones would just feckin regulate 😅
Hi Dr. Chaffee, I’m half Maci;) I have good genes lol. I wanted to ask about iron toxicity on a carnivore diet, I’ve read that people are having issues with this. Do you have a video, or can you do a video addressing too much iron on this diet? Thanks again for the videos! I’m reading Shawn Bakers book now btw, thanks again.
*Do you think high SHBG levels is because of UNDER EATING or low iodine (i.e. hypothyroidism).* I’ve seen some people criticising Baker’s low free testosterone and high SHBG levels.
Hey it's hard for me to answer that specifically because I don't know your case but going corner of war world reduce the majority of inflammation in your body and you will experience pain from arthritis and other things much less and often times people feel that they don't need surgery anymore as a result so just see how you go and talk to your surgeon about it
@@anthonychaffeemd i do follow your diet and there is no more inflammation recently but the pain is unbearable. My case was affecting my daily life, i cant walk. I will try and see what i can do about it. Thanks Dr. Chaffee
I m on trt and wanting to try the carnivore diet, is it compatible? does it has risk to raise estrogen? i heard about raising SHBG!? let me know about your knowledge about this thanks a lot
@@anthonychaffeemd glad to hear that ..cause after just one meal of ribeye eggs and butter I’m so full I’m not hungry till the next day.. was worried that I was eating just 1 meal..
Anthony- do you suppose carbohydrates rank as one of Dante’s circles? Perhaps, the outermost one where there’s only chronic inflammation… I’m jesting obviously. But, I think Homo sapiens need to lose the dopamine learning system for one that doesn’t punish failure with banishment from the gene pool. Damn, Mother Nature continues to be “red in tooth and claw”.
I’m having a bit of trouble with processing the fat But I actually feel at times I take too much for my liver or gallbladder to process I’ve started betaine with oxbile to help with it all Hopefully it will pass Also some women talk about feeling increased cortisol and not able to wind down at night. Any thoughts please 😊
Great conversation - thank you both! Dr. Chaffee I’m on bio-identical HRT 55yr old- for the past 4-5 yrs. I work with a hormone specialist doc- testing every 6 mos. I’ve been CV for past 8 mos/keto prior 3 yrs. Should I try and get off HRT? I wonder if I could… I feel great & don’t have any menopausal symptoms. TIA if you choose to respond…
I am androgynous being, what is the downside? I am not a appearance, and care not what other's "see", what is important, our body looks and feels the best it can be, care not what others see, mere appearances in consciousness.
Could you please talk about shellfish? I heard its best form of protein, but I.have difficulty to find wild caught as I am a digital nomad. Any big nutritional difference between wild caught and farmed ? Because I know farmed salmon definitely do more harm than good. Thanks . Mussels, scallapes, shrimps.etc
Both times I've started carnivore I have lost my period after the second month I will add back in carbs and within 3 weeks I get my cycle....also my tsh was high this time... last test before carnivore was 2.6 a few weeks ago after 2 months of carnivore it was up to 9.... not blaming carnivore just wondering if this diet could be leveling me out and i need to just bare with it. Also I'm a type 1 diabetic for 44 years...will be 48 in July... went through a divorce some years ago and lost my cycle for a year.... currently lots of stress too....
Question, I really dislike the texture of fat in my mouth and definitely cut it off my steaks. In that case would I add some butter on the steak to compensate for the fatIm cutting off? Thank you
How long will it take to get my menstrual cycle back? Ive been keto/carnivore for abput 2 months and after 10 months of amenorrhea im finally feeling pms symptoms but no cycle yet.
Hi Dr.Chaffee, I started doing carnivore a couple of weeks ago. My muscles have been hurting since then. Especially my back. I also occasionally have headaches and a brain fog but I didn't have them before. Is that normal?
Or maybe you should look into your electrolyte levels because when your body is getting rid of excess fluids that carbs has been holding in your body, your body would lose some essential electrolytes such as sodium, potassium, magnesium which may be responsible for your carnivore flu symptoms.
Sorry to hear about your experience with pain on your carnivore diet. Are you eating pork or eggs by any chance? I've been carnivore for 2 weeks just pure beef and all my symptoms went away including major depression, debilitating brain fog, severe muscle and joint pain and chronic fatigue, all of them I had for the past 20+ years. After the pure two weeks I tried to add some pork and eggs and within hours my whole body hurt again and all my symptoms came back with full strength. Maybe you're sensitive to pork or eggs, too?
Maybe you are drinking non organic coffee? I have severe reactions to non organic coffee. At home, I only drink organic fair trade coffee which does not cause me any symptoms except euphoria 😊 However, every time I drank regular coffee in a coffee shop my chronic fatigue, stomach pains and anxiety turn on within 30min and last for about 4 hours. Not sure if it's pesticides or something else but it just blows my mind.
Has any woman had luck with carnivore diet and PCOS or hormonal acne ? I’ve been dealing with Thai for years I truly want change . If this diet can cure this I am in .
Started on Carni 4 weeks ago, all going well. I need to lose a lot of weight. (auto immune and ortho issues due to constant dieting and excessive exercise) It has not started to come off yet as I was practically starving before this woe and by definition am eating more than before. Usually an egg or two in the morning and a fatty meat for dinner nothing more. I will stick with it but I am worried about the future as I was told after a scan some time ago that they saw tiny gallstones developing. I don't know if I should continues when and if they get bigger or if all the fat will accelerate their growth. Do you see a problem?
Glory to God 🙏 for bringing Dr Isibor into my life, his treatment works 💯 percent can't believe I finally beat hirsutism due to PCOS and hormones imbalance
Only aged meat. Like ground beef left in the fridge for days. It has to with surface area aging. Freeze stuff until cooking. And try not to store leftovers too long.
I am assuming that humans are not omnivores, as we've been told. It seems to me that we have developed a fairly narrow, fairly refined diet, over millions of years. Nature always knows best.
And while I’m thinking of it, check out Andrew Huberman’s YT videos if you have not yet done so- he’s a Stanford research neurologist who elucidates with data so sharp and hard, it cuts.
I'm six years post hysterectomy. I do still have one side of ovaries. I'm doing carnivore strict. I was keto and some carnivore for a couple of years. Stopped coffee and dairy six weeks ago. I've been on HRT for a few years. Is there hope for getting off of the HRT after a while of being carnivore? I'm 55.
I am wondering the same thing. I am 56 and love bio hrt. Increasingly i have watched videos of carnivores not needing bio hrt at all, even after menopause. There is a website called soulful savage that is a woman who is about our age that discusses her experience with carnivore diet and how she doesn't need hormones even though she is 56.
I was keto and lost my period, then went carnivore and it came back. I'm now postmenopausal though and wondering about estrogen since I don't make as much anymore.
@@iss8504 I used to follow Menopause Taylor until she started pushing her veganism. Her mantra is "don't eat anything with a face" and says to eat small meals every few hours. Ugh, as I wrote in one of her videos, if we were meant to be grazing all day, we'd be cows. Follow Dr Louise Newson (UK gyno) on the Balance Menopause channel instead.
I have always been estrogen dominat, had every single problem that comes with it. Placed met on depo provera to "balance" it. Last 10 years it went ok, just had fibrosistic breasts. Its started to get really bad again last year. Started the carnivor diet in december last year and symptoms eased alot but now 4 months later it back worse than before. I only eat beef and drink black unsweetend coffee and drink water with electrolytes. I feel like shit at the moment.
Maybe you had a lifetime of "nutrition" deficit, so might take longer than 4 months to see real results. Be patient .... I got ÀMÀZING results in more ways I thought possible .... I've have had Immune and Hormone Issues and much improved in plus minus ten months. ❤Its now seven months later for you... Hope you feel heaps better.
I’ve never heard of a woman coming out of 5 yrs menopause after doing carnivore and getting pregnant. And no, for most women that would not be a blessing. That being said I am three years Carnivore zero carb, very healthy and 69 years old .
Depends on the person of course as to what they consider it, but yes I've seen multiple women come out of menopause on carnivore and even keto, and Dr Berry has seen many more than that.
…and as a 60 year old whose been in menopause for 8 years and loving how I feel 60 days into carnivore, you’re scaring the HECK out of me to hear I could become pregnant!?!?!
Yeah, I don’t think men realize most women HATE their periods even without the pain. I look forward to menopause so I can get my freedom back and I would be pissed if I ended up pregnant later in life. 😂
Absolutely, there are a lot of factors, but the combination of a carnivore diet and exercise can help a lot. Exercise just stimulates your body in ways that can promote overall health, so even so, doing as much as you can is a good thing.

Dr Chaffee, thank you for this!! 🙏🏻 have you heard of dr Natasha Campbell a neurologist! She designed the gaps diet. I heard an interview with her today saying to just eat muscle meat is very bad for you and you should not do this!! I can only afford to eat muscle meat. She says the whole animal needs to be eaten!!?
Just add fat to your lean meat for example butter, eat organs if they're available but remember not to eat them everyday, liver twice a month is ok too
I’ve been on keto since last July and had improved my health tremendously. I started carnivore this March 2022 and got tested last week. I was surprised that my results were extremely high, Total Cholesterol-620 mg/dl, HDL-108.54, Triglycerides-81.45, LDL-470, VLDL-16.29. I did not even know that I would reach these numbers. Should I be alarmed even if I don’t feel anything bad?
I recommend you search ‘blood results’ and ‘heart disease and carnivore’ i am pretty sure it will put your mind at ease. Get a CAC score test if you worry about heart disease.
Im 60 and after watching 100 carnivore videos i tried it. Got sick as a dog. And I mean really sick. Hunger was not a problem (if anything, the thought of eating more meat was sickening). Even cravings were not a problem. Even my poop was normal (infrequent but normal). Just TOTALLY DRAINED, SEVERE FATIGUE, headache, naseua, and brain fog. After a week, I was so sick i couldn't move or think. Did salt, potassium, and magnesium and tons of water. More fatty beef, more fat, buttered coffee - and nothing helped. Calling it Keto Flu is like calling a tornado, sever winds. The flu is bad but this is excrutiating. All these guys doing carnivore videos forget how hard it is to go carnivore and just gloss over this issue. Even tiny amounts of carbs would bring temporary, partial relief. After 7 days I gave up. I had to. I needed to be functional. If this is the true human diet and the body has no NEED for carbs, then why is my body so resistant to switching to ketones? Yes i know it takes awhile to adjust, but if this is really what the human body wants, then you would think that severe exhaustion, headaches and brain fog would not be the body’s reaction.
That sounds like classic withdrawal symptoms. If you were quitting smoking or coming off heroine, the symptoms would also be horrible. If you get through the first three weeks (approximately, of course, because everyone's different), things really do get better. I started keto about 14 months ago, have been carnivore for 6 months now, and I feel better now at 44 than I did at 20. BUT yes, had crazy carb withdrawals and glad I forged through the pain to get to the benefits now.
@@midlifemagick1983 Thanks so much for your response. Yeah I see the logic in that, but there was no way I could continue after the week was done. I simply could not take it anymore. Im not giving up. Going to try Dr Saladino's animal based diet with some fruit but keep the carbs very low - perhaps 50-100 grams and then slowely drop the carbs. Maybe I need to just take it slow.
If anyone is able to mark out the time stamps for this episode, it would be very much appreciated! Please post them in a reply to this message if you are able to do it. Thank you very much!

Thank you very much, I'm glad you liked it!
“ Female lions eat the same diet as male lions”. Good point.
I don’t get sore from any of my 5 weekly workouts…but I still get the strength and growth. It’s amazing
Thanks!
Thank you very much Francisco! I'm glad you liked it!
Thanks! Excellent topical conversation about health in general. Thank you Dr. Chaffee and Simon Lewis for sharing your time in producing this educational video about health.
No problem, thank you for watching!
Excellent content as always, keep making these videos Dr. Chaffee!!
Thank you so much for the work you are doing!
You are very welcome! I hope it's helping
Haha I loved the Shawshank Redemption reference! Excellent video as always. Thanks Dr. Chaffee
Bloody brilliant! Really enjoyed and appreciated the deep dive into hormones, very informative. Thanks Dr Chaffee
Great discussion 👍
Yes! Abosuletly. That is where I am at now!
@mtjcassidy hi. Have you gone off your bio-t since your last reply? I've been on carnivor for 3 months and trying to make a decision about bio-t myself. How r u doing now 1 year later if you're still on carnivor?..thanks😊
@ 39.44 “you get busy living or you get busy dying.” Well said.
Time stamps would be tremendously helpful and appreciated
This was a great talk, guys--thanks so much.
But plants don't taste good.
Agreed.

So will I as a male become more masculine on the carnivore diet? I look very young for my age, and 8 months into the diet.
Hi Simon!! Great interview! So much great info! Would love to have the cocktail recipe for boosting ones immune system should they get sick. Ty!!

Great content 👌 keep up the great work.
The beginners guide to carnivore was boss🍻
Great, I'm glad you liked it!
Problem is that doctors tell us that it is all part of getting old. I heard from a pair of docs that an other doctor at a convention said : " if you wake up one morning without pain you are probably dead,"
Only 180 degree doctors for me the rest of my life - combined with my own common sense .
What is the vitamin D mixture x he sent his friend?
Around the 52 minute mark you state that the Maasai normally live to be 120 years old and dying at age 90 is considered young. Do you have a source for this information?
The opposite actually seems to true, they have the lowest life expectancy.
Traditional massai diet consists of: milk, meat, fat, blood, honey and tree bark.
@@midnitehoundJust went to Google, and it has death occurring between 40-60 for Masai, often due to various infections, pneumococcus and others.
How about trt and carnivore?
Simon - I would like to have the vitamin cocktail recipe that you mentioned
I feel your pain! Have a kind of similar story. Sounds as if there is no solution, which is sad😣
Check out the book, "The Copper Revolution, " to help yourself balance out iron toxicity. 😊
*Do you think high SHBG levels is because of UNDER EATING or low iodine (i.e. hypothyroidism).* I’ve seen some people criticising Baker’s low free testosterone and high SHBG levels.
Dr. Chaffee, is there a way i dont go for surgery for mid foot arthritis?
Hey it's hard for me to answer that specifically because I don't know your case but going corner of war world reduce the majority of inflammation in your body and you will experience pain from arthritis and other things much less and often times people feel that they don't need surgery anymore as a result so just see how you go and talk to your surgeon about it

Dr. Chaffee, Do you take any electrolytes or iodine?
I do not believe he does
Doc what do you think about coffee
It's a plant, so I dont drink it myself, and I feel much better as a result
Okay thanks for everything Doc
Does the bodies requirement for vitamins and minerals go down when on a carnivore diet.
Yes, exactly. Like Vit C is said to be needed in milligrams, but when you dont eat carbs, you only need it in nanograms. Huge difference

Haha, it's a good thought! But yeah I agree, we need to get back to nature
is this diet safe or beneficial if i'm trying to get pregnant?
Hi Dr Chaffee Is full cream Milk ok on carnivore diet? I Am craving milk but worried about the carb content in milk would kick me out of ketosis
Yeah it's ok sometime, but meat is the meal, stick you that mostly
Try adding water to heavy cream if you must have milk sometimes.
Do men get tested for estrogen?
I’m having a bit of trouble with processing the fat
But I actually feel at times I take too much for my liver or gallbladder to process
I’ve started betaine with oxbile to help with it all
Hopefully it will pass
Also some women talk about feeling increased cortisol and not able to wind down at night.
Any thoughts please 😊

I’ve been CV for past 8 mos/keto prior 3 yrs. Should I try and get off HRT? I wonder if I could… I feel great & don’t have any menopausal symptoms. TIA if you choose to respond…
What are your thoughts Dr Chaffee that women need a reasonable amount of carbs to build muscle?
I have observed that almost all elderly people look androgynous, I am wondering if the carnivore diet can stave this off or even prevent it?
I hope so 😁 I am in the elderly demographic, and had observed this myself when younger 😉
I sure hope so.
I am androgynous being, what is the downside? I am not a appearance, and care not what other's "see", what is important, our body looks and feels the best it can be, care not what others see, mere appearances in consciousness.
Good point, Chrissy Pearson.
can the carnivore diet help raise low cortisol levels
Could you please talk about shellfish? I heard its best form of protein, but I.have difficulty to find wild caught as I am a digital nomad. Any big nutritional difference between wild caught and farmed ? Because I know farmed salmon definitely do more harm than good. Thanks .

Yes they do
Any comments on sex hormone binding protein (SHBG)? High/normal testosterone but very low free T due to SHBG...
0:39 Estrogen is a hormone in people. I thought you were going to say "in Little Richard" for a second.
If I eat a large meal of red meat and fat where does the fat get stored if the body is not trying to put it into my fat stores?
Your body breaks it down for energy and to synthesize hormone production.
Is having too much astrogine similar to have too much cholesterol from fat?
I had the same issue, electrolytes in calcium are correct in it
Sorry to hear about your experience with pain on your carnivore diet.
You eat less fat, that is why you have cramps... Eat more fat and take electrolyte minerals
So is soybean oil in mayo ok for a 63 yo woman already in menopause?
Soybean oil is not ok for anyone. Highly inflammatory, just like all the other vegetable/seed oils.
No! Causes inflammation
Cut out the eggs for a month and just eat the meat I know you'll see great results 👍
Hi Dr Chaffee, can too much meat mess with histamine and if so why? I heard this first time recently!

Apex predator, eyes in front, sharp teeth.
Anyone with hyperpituitarism/ empty sella syndrome here that could share their experience with carnivore please
And while I’m thinking of it, check out Andrew Huberman’s YT videos if you have not yet done so- he’s a Stanford research neurologist who elucidates with data so sharp and hard, it cuts.
He is brilliant!
No. Your ovaries are closed. Hrt us the only true replacement. Go go Menopause Taylor, she is great
I was keto and lost my period, then went carnivore and it came back. I'm now postmenopausal though and wondering about estrogen since I don't make as much anymore.
Go to Menopause Taylor. She is a godsend for menopause. Little weird but because she is the info sticks.

I've have had Immune and Hormone Issues and much improved in plus minus ten months. ❤Its now seven months later for you... Hope you feel heaps better.
Go have a look into vitamin B1 high potency, sometimes help and is not expensive...
Cut out the coffee and see how you feel. Coffee makes me feel like crap even though I like it.
Menopause can be prematurely diagnosed. Accidental pregnancy is a good outcome to reduce ageing population :))
Not if you don’t want kids 😂
Certainly, but working out doesn't help that much if you've got medications that block metabolic health.
Absolutely, there are a lot of factors, but the combination of a carnivore diet and exercise can help a lot. Exercise just stimulates your body in ways that can promote overall health, so even so, doing as much as you can is a good thing.
💯🥰

Dr Chaffee, thank you for this!! 🙏🏻 have you heard of dr Natasha Campbell a neurologist! She designed the gaps diet. I heard an interview with her today saying to just eat muscle meat is very bad for you and you should not do this!!
I can only afford to eat muscle meat. She says the whole animal needs to be eaten!!?
No, you do not need to eat organs, I just watched a video in this yesterday. Actually eating liver daily can be an issue.
She didnt actually say that meat is bad she says lean meat is not healthy and you should eat meat with fat
Just add fat to your lean meat for example butter, eat organs if they're available but remember not to eat them everyday, liver twice a month is ok too
Why we wearing scrubs 🤔
Because we're at work
Great topic especially because red meat is so vilified
There's a carnivore cardiologist on UA-cam that can explain that for you. Can't remember the name, Olveida or something
🙏🙏🙏👍👍🥰
Lol 115am um watch teplay 😂
Sorry, I put in the wrong time and date. It's starting in about 20 minutes
Something also to maybe consider, is oxalate dumping. Your body purging stored toxins once it senses you've stopped adding in new ones?
Your problem was caffiene, ditch that plant
Visiting morocco atm, and I see stray cats eating bread, We have lost it and learnt to live with these non meat foods
Mayonnaise isn't soy bean oil - it's sunflower all. Bad too, but not soy bean oil.
