Great video! I was not able to do strict carnivore because of bad microbiom. I fixed it with berberine and cat's claw. Maybe Paul has the same problem...
You’re a nit picker and nothing is to your standards. And your book is horrible. Yes there is a lot of fake honey but why not discuss the benefits of real raw honey. @nutritionwithJudy just want to sell more of the book that advises to eat broccoli
Judy, thank you for taking the time to do this in detail and respectfully. It's always refreshing to have my views challenged - I believe it's healthy for the space and both of our communities. The carnivore diet has brought healing to many with autoimmune issues, and the community's commitment is truly remarkable. I'm grateful to have been part of it and still resonate with many of our shared values. I've said for a long time that if something works for you, keep doing it. An animal-based diet with fruits and honey works for many, myself included. I'd love to record a podcast with you or any other carnivore physician, who also would be willing to share their blood work at this level of detail. Best, Paul
A fair statement Paul. And I agree. Bring forth the blood tests and equally dissect them. Only with open minded and respectful debates can we truly get anywhere. Not with dogmatism.
Classy as always, Paul. Love how you said if it works you, keep doing it. I’ve seen so many people bash your diet because fruit messes them up. Maybe so, but so many other people, myself included, thrive off of fruit. It doesn’t have to be one diet that’s the only right one for all humans
Saladino, you always end up giving these messages and it all ends up in nothing. What hsppened with the debate with Gil Carvalho? He's a fool anyway but it would have been constructive for the community to defender yourself against everything he said
@@Paulsaladinomd Well said!!! 👏🏻 Always so kind and respectful. You’ve helped soooo many people (including me) and are doing so much good!!! Keep it up!!
Seriously? Low carb diets like keto and carnivore lead to premature death according to three recent studies: ua-cam.com/video/gzeP1obBe30/v-deo.htmlsi=rrzR2HzuTXQuEU5n
His way is great, all these influencers would be out if a job if we all ate like Paul, Ive never been healthier and fitter at 41 on a similar diet with rice, processed food is the enemy
If 99% of Americans ate any diet other than SAD, they'd be a lot better than they are now. This is true even of the vegan diet, as it's often healing for people in the short term, often promoting health for the first several years until the most severe nutritional deficiencies catch up with them..
@JonalynYanga yes and potatoes but not the skin, I don't eat anything processed though and have had low bodyfat and 0 health issues my whole life (41 now) but everyone is different I'm an SCSC who owned gyms so I workout a lot and play a lot of sports
Throughout my long low carb journey I’ve noticed that highly active people tend to side with Paul, while people who don’t exercise often or at all benefit from zero carb. Physiologically we can be extreme athletes without carbohydrates but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s ideal. I spent 4 years keto and 6 years carnivore and then decided to experiment a bit, and as an extremely active person I’ve found that some carb consumption in the form of fruit & honey targeted around hard workout is incredibly beneficial for recovery, sleep, and hypertrophy. This is what Paul is talking about. These are facts. But ultimately I think self experimentation is best. Take the time to see what works for you and always keep your mind open.
I'm highly active athletically and don't need the amout of carbs Saladino is talking about. I range from 15 grams to 30 grams of carbs a day. I'm fat adapted so I run on fat energy. Saladino misses the sweet taste of sugar when it comes down to it.
@@jimrutherford2773 How can you say it’s because he misses the sweet taste of sugar? I had no energy on carnivore, but I was totally content on the diet and had no cravings. I had to add carbs back for energy. To say I did it because I missed sweets would be wrong. Why jump to conclusions like this?
Carbs are horrible if you store them but seem to be fine when you burn them up. The other issue is that if you eat carbs and don't move you are likely under eating protein
@@jimrutherford2773 - Professionally-trained competitive athletes on high-carb diets won't gain weight. But they still sometimes end up with metabolic diseases like diabetes. Just because someone seems to be tolerating something in the short term, it doesn't necessarily follow it's promoting health long term. That isn't to say all carbs are bad under all conditions. It's just there is a vast difference to eat carbs seasonally, as humans evolved to do, and eating a high-carb diet continuously year round. Saladino based his diet on the Hadza. What he didn't know, as Mary Ruddick pointed out, is that the Hadza only have fruit and honey available for 2-3 months of the year.
I stopped following Saladino when he came into the carnivore space and started lecturing long term carnivores that they were doing it wrong. Imagine the hubris of coming into a community and not listening to the stories of the people who had healed themselves by unsung the carnivore diet for 10 to 20 years. Those long term carnivores explored every way of doing carnivore and found that fatty red meat made them feel their best. But he would not listen, and even lectured people who were trying to tell him about their own lived experience. He doubled down on the “need” for organs, ate too much organ meat, then said carnivore “didn’t work”.
This is exaclty what happened. There was another organ meat guy. I think he was a chef or asomething and he disappeared because he developed spme sort of problems.
He literally always says: “get organs fresh, if you can’t find that, buy my supplement”. That is extremely holest for someone trying to sell you something.
Please watch this video in its entirety! When you go Carnivore, it can uncover underlying issues you didn’t realize you had. What Judy so expertly explained is that his issues “going away” are probably only being masked due to fluid retention from eating carbs again. Also, several of his markers are now trending in a less than desirable direction. This video should be watched by everyone in the community and it is a masterclass. Thank you Judy!
Thanks for pointing this out - I think that’s what’s happening for me right now (carnivore uncovered underlying issues.) I guess I’ll have to watch the video in full….
I guess I don’t understand when they say you can’t do carnivore long term. But the diet that got you healthy isn’t recommended for long term, so go back to what made you sick. 😩🤦♂️
I think in some cases people start from a standard American diet, go carnivore and then move on to some version of a whole foods diet. So there is a big difference before and after, fwiw
Timely video. I liked and subscribed. When one of my cats started throwing up all food, the vet wanted to do $1500 worth of tests before anything else. I said no. The vet basically told me my cat was going to die. I fed her nothing but raw ground beef for five weeks. My cat is fine now and I feed them homemade ground beef, chicken and salmon. I realized my cats were eating better than I was. I stopped eating processed food, chips and other junk food and started eating the same fresh, homemade meats, that I feed my cats. In six months, I lost 15 pounds. A checkup three months ago, showed my bloodwork and blood pressure are fine. Low cholesterol and normal blood pressure. No sign of diabetes. I am slowly eliminating as much non meat from my diet as I can. Instead of buying a loaf of bread for toast, I am buying eggs, etc. Thank you for posting this.
@@chelseaK11 I feed my cats raw ground beef about three days a week. I buy it from a regional grocery chain that obtains its meat from local ranches. The meat is dressed in the butcher department of the store. Meat that is packaged off location or in those 2 or 3 pound tubes should not be used. Most of the time, my cats eat boiled chicken thighs. I also supplement their homemade food with a wet cat food that is grain free and low in calcium and phosphorus. In a perfect world, raw ground beef would supply 100% of a cat's dietary needs. That is not the case, unfortunately. Good luck. Happy Caturday!
Long before Paul Saladino and even before the internet I started on the carnivore diet. I called the Heart Attack Diet! 41 years later you can see what it did to me. Fruity Paul is a marketer, nothing more. He will not debate anyone any more than prominent vegans will. I have not had any health care since 1996, so I might drop dead before tomorrow. Otherwise I feel great and have a lot of energy and no chronic health issues.

Hey Judy, appreciate the video. I'm 56 and have weight trained 39 years. I'm very active (train 4-5 days a week and play pickleball 4-5 days a week). I went on the Carnivore diet almost 3 years ago. I was very strict, ate high fat, and bought local cows, fluctuating between grass fed/finished and grass fed, grain finished. I live in Alberta, Canada and we are well known for the quality of our beef. I'm also not a foodie so eating Carnivore is easy. I can eat the same thing all the time no problem. Anyways, I had the same issues with cramping and palpitations that Dr. Saladino had. I added electrolytes at the 1 year mark and things still did not resolve themselves. In those 18 months I didn't cheat. It was fatty meat, eggs, and some dairy (hard cheese and butter mostly). I love eating Carnivore, and I really wanted it to work. I tried to allow my body to balance, but it never did. Having weight trained as long as I have I've had cramping issues, but nothing like what I experienced in those 18 months. I had them in muscles that had NEVER had cramps before, like lats, shoulders and lower abs (which were the worst). I was actually really disappointed with Paul when he went to fruit and honey but after 18 months I decided I needed to try something different. I added in fruit. Berries, kiwi and watermelon. All my issues cleared up in the first week. I also seemed to keep all the benefits of Carnivore. It's now been a year of being meat based and still no issues. I think I've had one cramp in the last year in a calf muscle. I have my own theory as to why I need some carbohydrates and it has to do with muscle glycogen. I believe that because I'm so active that I use up all my muscle glycogen a dozen times a week. If there are no carbs to reload the muscle with afterwards then the muscles become electrolyte deficient because electrolytes use the carbs as a carrier to insert themselves in the muscle. I agree that Paul went overboard on carbs but I also think highly active people do need some carbs in their diet.
I get electrocute imbalances too. I tried eating one strawberry and had stomach cramps and slight diarrhea. I tried a few different times with different fruits but always a very small price to see what would happen and the same thing happened. Thoughts?
@@slowslug3247 Someone I follow suggests fermented foods. These are high in probiotics. I do these. Sounds like you have some gut biome issues. Work on gut health. Fermented foods (sauerkraut, for one - I make myself... sooooo easy). Kombatcha. Yogurt. Keifer. All high in probiotics. Have you had antibiotics any time recently. They are the gut biome killer. Look into Dr. O'Mara on YT.
Same here. I am a farm labourer in tropical Australia and my job is EXTREMELY hard. I did strict carnivore for 4 months but I had ZERO energy, no sleep, cramps, heart palpitations. When I introduced a small amount of carbs, all these issues vanished and I feel so good now, 15 months in. I'm 30, I eat omad 1kg beef, 5 eggs, a piece of parmigiano cheese, a piece of butter, a cup of bone broth and then a bowl of greek yoghurt with some honey and 2 bananas. I feel so damn good. I believe that's around 60 grams of carbs a day and I refuse to believe that is bad for me.
Paul is an outlier that nobody should ever compare themselves to. Who can afford to live in the tropics? who has enough time on their hands to surf 2-3 hours every day? Who can eat organs on an astronomic level every day? I read Paul's book, and it was not bad in it's original form. This was long after reading the REAL carnivore book by Shawn Baker who knows how to create a construct and live it. Paul has never stuck to a single construct in his existence in this space. Every time you turn around, he re-invents himself. He also cherry picks studies to agree with his diet in the moment. I unfollowed him a few years ago when he went looney tunes. Fructose is not a good thing to fool around with, and I don't care how many studies you can quote. It is preferentially and almost exclusively processed by the liver and at the root of all evils when it comes to NAFLD and other metabolic disorders. DO NOT FOLLOW this man or listen to anything he has to say.
Fructose ain’t doing nothing to you. Quit being fat and you wouldn’t have a problem. You crazy carnivore people are what’s wrong with the diet fad bullshit. Do what’s best for you but quit spreading bullshit!!
If you watch the video she says his bloodwork is less than ideal. Carnivore probably uncovered some underlying root cause issue. He has liver issues and inflammation markers he very likely has CIRS. Eating carbs masks the symptoms but he will continue to get worse if the CIRS or maybe chronic infection or whatever is no addressed.
Paul is not an outlier. Everyone consumed carbs. What were obesity rates before 1960? The answer is effectively zero. No clinical trial needed to point out this basic fact that people ate carbs and were fine before 1960. This is a simple truth that for some reason everyone in keto space wants to ignore.
Go look at a chart of carb consumption rates from 1900-2020 and then compare obesity rates. There is no correlation. In fact from 2000-2020 carbs dropped 2% and obesity rates doubled.
I almost didn't watch this because I thought it was just going to be another video having a go at Paul. But I have to say I was wrong and I'm glad I watched. Very well done Judy and great, very helpful information. Thank you. I'm sure Paul will get the information he needs from this as well that will spur him into looking further. Sometimes it just takes another set of eyes.
Step 1: Eat an insanely unnatural amount of organs, until acquiring vitamin A toxicity Step 2: Revert to sugar/carb addiction, which appears to fix problems from Step 1 as it blocks nutrient uptake, thus slowing down the hypervitaminosis. Ignore the fact that it skews uptake of all the OTHER vitamins too, causing all sorts of other problems both short and long-term Step 3: Instead of fixing the root problem of organ overconsumption, double down and start an ORGAN SUPPLEMENT BRAND so more people can follow the same confused path Step 4: Profit
@@JamesBond-zd5jx I didn't see through it for several months, unfortunately. He was the guy who originally got me questioning seed oils, which I respect. But that respect had a quick expiration date once I found out practically everything else he says is nonsense.
He doesn't eat enough fat, therefore adding more fuel in the form of carbs made him feel better. Same thing would have happened if he would have added more fatty meat instead of frickin papayas and honey.
No, you have it factually backwards. He was high fat but moderate protein. You need sufficient protein to provide taurine which then regulates electrolytes. He was obsessed with staying in ketosis instead of consuming enough protein to spike his insulin and thus retain his electrolytes. Additionally, I think some people on carnivore cannot thrive until they remove added salt. Some should only get sodium from meat and fish alone. Old school carnivores did not use any salt
What he did was constantly swallowing dried up organs and all kinds of other crap instead of just simple meat, fat, water, and salt. He complicated something that should be simple and your body will let you know when you have those simple things right.
@loriegosnell9355 organs played a role however he still consumes them and doesn't have issues. He was overdoing salt, original carnivores were strictly against adding salt. The salt craze is a product of the keto crowd who need more sodium because they consume plants. Plus he was moderating protein. Protein is just as important as fat particularly in the long term picture
You’re brilliant Judy. Love this level of analysis. Must have taken you ages to gather this info but it is truly worthwhile. We need correct information from trustworthy people like you. Thx Judy.
I'm 1.33 minutes in, and horrified at his advice for obese people! Paul was not doing a 'natural' carnivore diet - he was massively over consuming organs which will have created huge imbalances in his system.
@@martakaczmarek6886 he was taking his own company's (Heart & Soil) supplements. You obviously haven't watched nearly as many videos of his as I have. I used to like his channel.
It's not the organ meat that was the problem. It's the amount of sugar especially the high amount of fructose he consumes. That's exactly what you don't inject your liver with.
I got into the carnivore diet mainly because of Drs Ken Berry and Paul Saladino. Maybe I misheard Saladino's name as "Salad? No!". But now he's "Salad Yes". As well as carbs, fruit juice and honey yes. Nope, I'm not falling for it. I'll stick with Ken Berry and Judy.
We never ate this much fruit in nature. 99% of all these fruits are man made, GMO and, full of sugar. Over training also lowers T levels as he been doing that for years. He drink honey as if it is water then he goes run around like a hamster to burn it up.
Saladino was a fraud all along. He doesn't even know what a ketogenic diet is. It's not zero carbs. It can be up to 30 grams of carbs a day depending on the individual. He was a sugar addict and still is. He's like the guy you knew who got off drugs and you were happy for him then found out he fell off the wagon again.
We need more people like this! Just finished reading "The 23 Former Doctor Truths" by Lauren Clark and I had to say its so truth revealing. Industry hides so much from society
Why does he need to be debunked if he is correct? Go look at a chart of obesity rates before 1960. Look at carb consumption rates. Go on, what does it show? People ate plenty of carbs and obesity rates were effectively zero. Even in the 1970’s obesity was extremely low. The diet intervention was not carbs it was ultra-processed oils. Look at oil consumption rates and then revisit obesity rates. What does it show? An actual correlation between obesity and seed oils-NOT carbs. Carb consumption dropped by 2% from 2000-2020 and obesity rates doubled. That’s called negative correlation. No one in keto space is explaining what happened pre-1960 or explaining this at all. They are completely oblivious to this obvious data. Good luck “debunking” it. I learned this from Dr Cate Shanahan not from Paul.
Paul cannot be debunked because he’s correct. It took me probably dozens of hours of research to figure this stuff out. The final nail-*slamdunk* proof is pre-1960’s obesity rates and carb consumption levels. And if you think it’s processed sugars well it’s not that either which is measurable and is part of the “carb” consumption levels. In fact processed sugars have dropped the last two decades (see “sugar free” soft drinks for example).
Keto space gets most of it right but they completely miss essential information. And that is historical obesity rates and carb consumption rates which have mostly remained fairly flat since 1900-2020. Look at 1900 levels and compare to 2020 for example. Objective information.
It’s fine Paul eats whatever he wants to eat. My problem is he is trying to get everybody to switch with him. Stay true to the message, eat what works best for you. If you feel good no need to change because someone else tells you it’s bad.

In addition to ad revenue, Dr. Berry likely earns from other sources such as sponsorships, merchandise, and Patreon, which can significantly increase his total earnings.
I don’t follow Paul Saladino’s diet but I’ve seen him say multiple times in the past that he’s not trying to get carnivores to convert. He said he wants them to continue what they’re doing if that makes them feel good, but he’s only getting his message out there for people who can’t seem to heal on carnivore.
Bummer, his recommendations are exactly what a diabetic wants to hear. Keep eating sugar, ‘healthy’ sugar or ‘natural’ sugar. The Strong Sisters are pushing carbs for people with illness now too, which makes me sad because so many of these families are really trying to heal and with better information they could really use strict carnivore for a few months to improve their symptoms & reduce their sugar addiction that is sadly such a big part of those order ‘healthy diets.’ Dr Eric Westman has the basics on why he uses Keto at a Keto Clinic to heal his patients over the last 25 years.
@@SariPutri-x6v And he makes this clear too. He says that if you diabetic and dont exercise you could have like a apple a day and maybe a spoon of honey too.

@joanneclark8256 I gained weight on his meat and a lot of fruit diet. I was also continuously hungry. I went on Carnivore and lost weight and had no hunger. One or two at most meals a day, often eating just to get enough nutrients, not because I was hungry.
Holy cow Paul says he eats 300 Grams of carbohydrates a day and calls himself "Carnivore MD" and states he eats a meat based diet. He tries way too hard to impress people with all of his knowledge yet he seems so Manic and out of control😢
Check your comprehension levels. That's not what Paul recommends or says. He recommends carbs based on your activity level per week. Based on my own levels, which are pretty high, he recommends only 150 grams per day. And, he's MUCH more active than me.

The problem I always had with Paul is that he reeks of opportunist. When he went in the liver supplement business he pushed liver. Could one of the doctors please answer this question? I'll try to keep it short and concise. What is the main reason to avoid fruit if you are set on carnivore only? It's hard for me to believe that consuming fruit, raw dairy, raw honey or maple syrup is harmful. If it's clean, and local and consumed in appropriate amounts, it tends to make me feel better. Well done, Judy! I think Bart Kay and Ken Berry have also questioned Paul's blood sugar: the A1C doesn't test for blood fructose. Paul seems to think his blood sugar is low and fine based on A1C, but what he's consuming is not mostly a glucose source - it's mostly a fructose source or sources. His glycation could be substantial - this could be a cause of the inflammation you're guessing he's suffering (or a contributing factor).
@@DramaHeart good to know, thx. I liked that Judy is encouraging him to think things through better and to use his gifts to help people. That was positive.
It's not mostly a fructose source. Most fruits are close to 50/50 glucose/fructose. Granted, I think Paul may still take in more than 50 g of fructose per day, which is high I've read, but we'll just have to see how his liver and other stats are affected over more time.
@@MichaelDirk thx, I think some of the influencers have misled me - people say fruit is mostly fructose, and I just looked - and you're right. As Judy points out, he seems to have non-keto/non-diet issues/problems.
I really admire how open minded Paul is. He is actively searching for more information and trying new things. I can’t say the same for most doctors or people in general.
I tried recently just as an experiment to drink 500 ml. of orange juice after 2 years on carnivore/ketovore. WORST reactive hypoglycemia ever. First I got serious hunger cravings - the type you NEVER feel on carnivore - then shakiness and unwell. I had a small reaction couple weeks ago at work when my electrolytes drink had a few carbs in it. I had a slight headache, felt nauseated, and ended up feeling weak and tired because of it, and the electrolytes are supposed to help with your energy, did the opposite for me with carbs, wtf!
It’s interesting, you’re saying someone is wrong that is twice as healthy as you are, interesting. Maybe, just maybe there’s more to it than you think.
I remember when Saladino started.... He suddenly flipped from promoting a vegetarian diet to Carnivore in what seems like literally overnight... Those who enabled him suddenly had to correct his "science".
I haven't watched yet, but more than the Vitamin A thing, I've seen Bart Kay break down that it may more likely be copper toxicity from the liver that can lead to worsening retention of electrolytes among other things
Watch/listen this video if you can. It is very informative and very useful to the general public. And lucky Paul gets someone as good as Judy to analyse his blood work for free. I wish i could have it! 😢
@martakaczmarek6886 I listed the 4 types of foods he eats. Where in my statement did I put percentages of each type of food? He himself has stated many times that he usually consumes between 300 grams and 400 grams of carbohydrates daily from fruit and honey.
@@RC-tm8jo You misquotted his motto, which is "meat, fruit and honey", legally its a defamation you write it under the post shaming on him that he is doing it for a business.
It sounds like he’s having trouble breathing. Obviously, what he’s doing isn’t working for him. I think he needs to at the very least cut back on the sugar/carbs and organ meats, if not eliminate them altogether. Thank you for making this well informed, common sense video.
I have noticed it on his other video (w... Shawn baker? I can't remember...) defending his diet. I'm not saying his diet is bad or that that's why he's breathing heavy... Just an observation.
I love how the same carnivores that defend their diet because of how good they feel mald like vegans when someone else dares to feel good eating a different way lmfao. He’s clearly healthy and happy
I've noticed that with Paul but also with other carnivore and keto influencers, Ken Berry and Dr Boz to name a couple have an out of breath/ chest weakness you can hear in their voice.
I appreciate the astounding amount of work you put into this video. Absolutely mind blowing!(the weirder thing is that I can actually understand it all) Thanks carnivore
He worked out like a maniac, did not eat enough fat, busted his adrenals, ended up with low T, then got on sugar. Now you can see how fast sugar, and workout stress are aging him.
You know what it probably was working out to much what caused his issues...a natural over the age over the age of 35.should probably only workout 4 days a WK Mac unless they aren't going to hard
I’m definitely finding out after my third attempt now that it is not a fit for everyone. I’ve never failed at a diet ever, but I’m failing on carnivore for the third time now. I can’t hit ketosis, I have not lost so much is 1 ounce in an entire month now, I have heart palpitations, extremely heavy slow heartbeat, I’m very breathless, experiencing weakness and fatigue beyond description, muscle tension so bad that I cannot stand for more than 10 minutes at a time, my skin is extremely pale and flaky and my urine is dark. I use Redmond’s, Nu-Salt (for potassium) and a magnesium supplement. I finally gave up three days ago and started adding 5 ounces of fruit back into my diet each day because I simply couldn’t take another minute of lying on my couch all day just to recover from gripping muscle tension because I spent 10 minutes standing. What shocked me was that within the first two days of adding fruit, my heart palpitations and pounding heartbeat completely stopped. That much is a huge relief but I still have no stamina and I have unrelenting muscle tension. At this point I’m so miserable I don’t even care that I’m not losing weight. I just want my life back. Im so tired of being trapped on my couch.
I hope that this video generates a similarly respectful but candid reply. I have followed both Judy and Paul since their earliest days and like both but Paul is a bit squirrelly, for lack of a better term ( and as one who actually had pet squirrels and chipmunks as a lad😅 )
Is there a winning answer? If he had responded saying thank you but that he wanted to pass, there’d be people attacking that as well saying it’d be better to just not respond. And have you ever meant to respond to someone but never did because of life? I have. Because of all these factors, I try not to judge or pretend to know what someone’s motives are, because I really can’t. ❤
If Paul was right, wouldn't we see people like Kelly Hogan and Maggie White having really bad electrolyte issues too?? So far, I have not heard them talk about any. Judy, your video makes more sense to me. Thank you. Carnivore is not a magic wand but it sure helps reduce health issues for me. There is still a lot to learn about healing even after carnivore is helping. Paul is throwing the baby out with the dirty bathwater.
He’s throwing the baby out with the bath water? I think that’s what carnivores do. :) Y’all throw out more God given foods than any other diet out there-except for fruitarians I guess. I used to be carnivore (thankfully only for 7 months), and I can’t believe I was willing to throw out so many delicious real foods, and I feel better with them included too.
@@PeaceIsJesusChristwhich foods did you reintroduce? And in which way do you feel better with them? Did you have any serious health issues before you went carnivore? Just curious :-)
@@Namava-o7k Hi there, I reintroduced carbohydrates in the form of fruit and potatoes, and it took about three months for my energy to return (it tanked on carnivore).
@@PeaceIsJesusChrist hi! Thanks for sharing. I feel for me and some other carnivores, male and female, need some carbs in some form to balance our hormones. Even eating only 5-10 grams of apple made a huge difference for me, without it I felt drained, libido was gone, didn’t feel my happy self… last year I included raw dairy, and I don’t eat any apple anymore , and I finally could gain weight and build some muscle. (I am a perimenopausal woman btw.)
@@Namava-o7k Hi! You’re so welcome!! 😊 I’m mid 40s and probably perimenopausal too! I have heard Lillie Cane say her husband had to have carbs in order to gain muscle! From listening to bioenergetics, I really do thinks having adequate carbs is the healthiest way to go. By the way, I told my chiropractor I was considering hormone replacement in the future, and he told me to do female bovine glandulars instead! From my research, I learned that men can grow normal sized breasts by using bovine ovary, so there must be something to it! 😆 Also, I’m sure you’ve heard of the experts all telling women our age that we need to do heavy lifting in order to stimulate the central nervous system to grow muscle, but I have learned that overcoming isometrics will also stimulate the central nervous system, and it is a much, much safer way to build muscle! Best wishes to you!! 😊
@@soulabear9146 I agree, but I started following his content 2-3 years ago, just before he added all these carbs back into his diet, and I’ve watched him age excessively in a short amount of time. It’s a little odd. Maybe glycation is aging him? Too much iron can do that too. Something is not quite right.
I think everyone is different in many biological aspects, to me went from keto-carnivore to animal based (added fruit, raw dairy and a bit of honey) and ohh man, I feel like a different human being, so much energy, was able to quit coffee, sleep like a baby and perfect blood work, some carnivores should give it a try, will not regret it. Just with with a bit of common sense, both are healthy natural anti inflammatory, high dense nutritional diets.
*Paul recently had a guy come through his house in Costa Rica and found mold on all of the wooden cabinets/fixtures. In this video it appears Judy may have hinted that Paul's body is fighting something. Could be from the mold? Paul said he was going to rip out all the wood in his house, so I wonder if that might change some of these results in the future*
Diet is not a one size fits all. I tried carnivore for 10 months when I didn't lose any weight with my Hashimoto's not improving. I was heavily dumping oxylates and after watching Sally K Norton discuss Toxic Superfoods adding some low oxylate plant foods that don't make me bloat helped me to slow down the oxylate dumping. Early on I did make a mistake following one Carnivore podcaster claim we should consume a stick of butter per day until I quickly quit. After switching to high protein, moderate fat and low carbs i easily lost a dress size this year. Thank you 😊
It is a one size fits all actually. Diet is only the first step, not the only step. There are a myriad of things that cause health issues that can't be fixed just by eating meat on its own.
@@Themilkman95 Honestly anytime I see someone say they try carnivore and it didnt work I want to ask what it is exactly that they ate. Some people will eat nothing but processed meats and say they tried carnivore, some people will eat loads of dairy, some will eat high protein low fat. Some people need to go lion diet and cant have any dairy or eggs at all because they have autoimmune issues. Just like some people will say they tried keto by eating nothing but packaged "keto friendly" foods all while never going into ketosis because those foods are meant to be small cheat snacks and not eaten regularly while on keto. Just like you can eat highly processed sugary junk on a vegan diet you can screw up any other diet, even carnivore. I would say the reason "one size doesn't fit all" is because some people need to be more strict with what they cut out before they see meaningful benefits.
amazing video. you did this with such kindness and grace. even though all the comments are harsh and don’t reflect what you were saying at all…I hope he finds more root cause healing
Excellent and thorough! Thanks, Judy! 2+ years Carnivore and I’ve never felt better, been more healthy or more fit my entire life and I’m 62! Better late than never!! 👊😎🥩
Fantastic Presentation Judy! Very professional. I have learned a lot from what you share. It has helped me to be my most healthy and feel my best. Thanks for all you do!
During the cooking process, macronutrients (proteins, fats and carbohydrates) and micronutrients (vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids and other beneficial substances) are lost. 1. Protein (macronutrients) Proteins denature during cooking, which means that their structure breaks down due to heat. Denaturing proteins affects their digestibility and bioavailability: Denaturation: heat disrupts the three-dimensional structure of proteins, making them less functional. Although the body can still digest these proteins, it loses some of their natural benefits. For example, the raw proteins in meat or eggs contain natural enzymes that aid digestion. However, after cooking, these enzymes disappear and the body must produce its own enzymes to break down the protein efficiently. 2. Fats (macronutrients) Heat treatment of fats can lead to their oxidation, which causes the formation of toxic substances and free radicals: Fat oxidation: fats, especially unsaturated fats, are very sensitive to heat. When they are exposed to high temperatures, oxidation occurs, leading to the formation of toxic products such as free radicals and advanced glycation products (AGEs). These products cause damage to cells and tissues in the body, contribute to chronic diseases, and accelerate aging. Loss of essential fatty acids: Cooking also destroys essential fatty acids such as omega-3 and omega-6, which are essential for proper brain and heart function. These fatty acids become ineffective at high temperatures and the body does not benefit from them. 3. Carbohydrates (macronutrients) Carbohydrates undergo changes during cooking that can affect their nutritional value and the way the body uses them: Caramelization and Maillard reaction: when carbohydrates and proteins are exposed to high temperatures, Maillard reaction and caramelization occur. This process can cause the formation of toxic compounds that damage cells and tissues in the body. These compounds are also associated with a higher risk of cancer and other chronic diseases. 1. Vitamins (micronutrients) Vitamins are very sensitive to heat, light and air. They break down and degrade rapidly when cooked, which means that the vitamin are greatly lost during cooking. 2. Minerals (micronutrients) Minerals are more resistant to heat than vitamins but can be lost during cooking: Leaching into water: when meat is cooked in water, minerals leach into the water. If water is not consumed (for example, in soups), the minerals are lost. For example, potassium and magnesium, which are important for muscle and heart function, may be lost. Interaction with other ingredients: some minerals, such as iron and calcium, may interact with other ingredients in food during cooking and become less available for absorption by the body. 3. Enzymes Enzymes are crucial for digestion and metabolism and are destroyed at temperatures above 48°C. Raw foods, especially raw meat, milk and eggs, contain natural enzymes that help the body with digestion. Destruction of enzymes: Cooking food degrades these enzymes, meaning the body has to produce enzymes itself to break down the food, which is energy-consuming. For example, raw meat contains enzymes that begin digesting it in the oral cavity, but these enzymes are destroyed by cooking. Digestive load: without enzymes in food, digestion slows down and the load on the pancreas and other organs increases, which can lead to long-term exhaustion and decreased vitality. 4. Amino acids Amino acid denaturation: cooking can damage some essential amino acids such as lysine and methionine, meaning the body cannot get the full benefit from these proteins. When amino acids are destroyed, the body can't use them to regenerate tissues, make enzymes, and perform other important functions. Loss of biological value: protein in its raw form has a higher biological value, which means the body can make better use of the amino acids. Heat-treated proteins, while still digestible, have less ability to support tissue growth and regeneration. 5. Antioxidants Antioxidants are substances that protect cells from oxidative stress and free radical damage. Cooking, especially baking and frying, reduces the antioxidant content, and antioxidants in raw foods are key to protecting the body from toxins. When these substances are destroyed by heat, the body is exposed to more oxidative stress. Cooking produces: heterocyclic amines (HCAs) These compounds are formed when meat is cooked at high temperatures, such as grilling, frying or roasting. HCAs are associated with an increased risk of cancer, especially colon and stomach cancer. They are mainly formed at temperatures above 150°C, when changes occur in the proteins in meat. Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs): These substances are formed when organic materials are burned, not only when meat is cooked, but also when food is smoked and grilled. They are considered carcinogenic and can cause DNA damage. Advanced Glycation Products (AGEs): When foods are cooked at high temperatures, especially foods rich in protein and carbohydrates, these substances are formed. AGE products accelerate tissue aging and increase the risk of degenerative diseases, including diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Oxidized Fats: Heat oxidizes fats, leading to the formation of free radicals. These free radicals damage cells and tissues, which can contribute to the development of chronic diseases such as cancer, heart disease and other degenerative problems.
he uploaded a video just the other day that I've checked out. I was (not, but almost) shocked at how much he aged in just a few years. Glycating the hell out of his cells and tissues with contraindicated fructose and carbohydrates.
I have seen more than my share of this living in tropical climates. The sun will age you and fast. I dont agree with Saladino and dont even like him, but this isnt diet, it is sun exposure and age. Look at picturs of theee carnivore influencers from years ago and look at them now. They changed.
The way he looks now reminds me of many vegans, just with more muscle mass. Aged too fast. He eats more carbs than people I know who aren't even on a low carb diet.
@@sandrabentley8111mds have frequently told me to slap on sun screen, and go outside. It takes 10/15 minutes for the sunscreen to “activate”. Thats all the vit d we need. Then theres the fact that we can get it from food, which the guy eats.
62 years old Finnish male, went to ketodiet, saving my health when I was 54. I've always been quite skinny, trying to get reasonable muscles, carnivore diet helped me with that. I got same symptoms as Paul after 1 1/2 years pure carnivore. I Started to use about 50-70 g Finnish honey and forest blueberries, per day. I have to say it gave me energy, and testosterone level got right. I tried to ate 200 g butter per day. I have fear of carbs, I was totally sick with our domestic grain, they are full of mould toxics, food additives. People tell that in going south, France, German, grains are better there.
Judy, you are a much needed unbiased and fair voice in this community. Chaffe and Baker could learn so much from your approach. I know this video was difficult for you to share. Great job.
as a CIRS patient I can understand why he felt the need to start eating carbs. having those electrolyte issues can be very hard to deal with and live a normal life. But I agree that even though eating carbs has helped him not feel the symptoms eventually they will come back I think. I hope he finally gets CIRS blood work. I am also curious about where his exposure started. what biotoxin triggered his CIRS…it probably started when he had symptoms of eczema or something. very interesting Thank you for this video. CIRS should be talked about more often by other carnivore doctors and influencers
Bcs he came from warm climate of tropical ,subtropical ,carnivore is not enough for hydration bcs heat loss and electrolyte loss through exessive sweating . may be his carnivore was not high fat witch prevent water and electrolyte loss

Great points. 👍 just want to say though, Paul has posted several videos stating that if you are thriving on the carnivore diet, then keep eating that way. He actually is pretty reasonable in my opinion.
I agree. I've never heard Paul fear mongering or actively trying to put people off carnivore. He talks about what he's doing and what he feels is working for him and I'm sure he'll change what he's doing if he realises it's not working. Being open to experimenting to find what works for us individually is important. I don't think anyone has the one answer that will work for everyone at this point. It's all just experimentation and the sharing of results is really important.
He tuned down a little only because of the flac he got from the carnivore community. Seriously: That macro's calculator on his website is not there for his personal use, and it misguides lots of people.
All these folks hating on Paul, is just weird. He's just sharing what works for him now, and not trying to push it on anyone else. Why do people get super mad about what other people choose to eat... people are so crazy these days. Great comment by the way.
As someone who has struggled with self image for most of my life, I sense that he does too, and unconsciously he fears fat and self- restricts -> overexercises. Then, he imposes his experience on everyone. And that is the vicious circle he’s in. He finds something good, then gets caught in his struggles, goes on the loosing path, and proposes it’s true for everyone. I wish he’d admit his flaws. It’s not easy, but as influencer, he has a duty for those who are gullible. Amazing job Judy, with gratitude for everything you do for the community ❤️🥩
100% true. the over training lean body has destroyed his adrenal hormones. Stress is as bad as SAD diet. He is too lean and he is aging fast. In this video he uses filters to hide it.
Lol your are really projecting here. Dr. Paul constantly says he does not steer away from animal fat at all and in fact strives to take in as much as he can.
thats the biggest thing about electrolytes. When you go carbless, you should also stop salting. The reason is because you dont NEED that extra sodium. By adding extra sodium, you throw off the natural balance of all the other electrolytes. Im finding more and more with the human body that what tends to be most important is the RATIO of things to eachother, instead of some absolute value of said things.
Nice try. I had problems holding onto electrolytes on carnivore and felt awful. they were all out of range low. The ratio didn't seem to matter much and I felt awful. I supplemented LMNT and then just added back some carbs
I dunno dawg, all I eat is red meat, fruit, honey, milk, eggs, and rice and I feel great. In other words, I rarely eat processed foods and I feel great. The key is to avoid ultra processed junk and seed oils
I think this was your best video so far, and I really hope Paul follows up on your suggestions. Most of us trying the carnivore diet are trying to heal a chronic problem and western medicine is not interested in finding the root cause. This is because there is no financial incentive in a capitalistic health system to have a healthy population. Until this is changed, the US population will needlessly suffer.
I'm struggling with histamine intolerance (HI). I went carnivore, which improved my body in other ways, but HI got worse and worse; my list of tolerable foods has shrunk rapidly over the last 9 months, and my reactions have gotten worse. Now I've also got fatigue and vertigo. I want the carnivore diet to work. But for me, it isn't. I don't think it has to do with lack of carbohydrates, but gut microbiome diversity.
Check if you're not undereating and/or if you're too low in fat intake. Resistance to certain foods is a natural process. It's your body telling you they were never proper foods for you to eat. When we're on a standard diet, the inflammation is high due to too many foods we shouldn't be eating. When you overcome inflammation, your body should be handling better with toxic stuff, thus making you react to them quicker.
About the vertigo, could you possibly have built up wax in your ears causing water to get behind it & not drain. I’ve been having that issue past few years & have to have them syringed out every few months.
Have you ever heard about a helminthic therapy? It's a new and promising field of research. Very niche. That would require for you maybe to switch to raw meat for a period of time. I noticed that I got histamine issues on a carnivore diet after I dewormed.
I've been waiting for years for this. Paul is a carb addict, which is fine, BUT he's influencing others to follow his unhealthy lunacy, and that's what I have a problem with. Bless you, Judy❤
Paul is young, healthy, and very active. It's no surprise to me he can tolerate 100g to 200g of carbs per day. But he shouldn't be telling the rest of us who are not in his condition we can do it too.
I went Carnivore and lost hair, muscle, couldn't sleep and my heart began to skip beats. Carnivores told me I should eat more. That didn't help. It just made things worse. They told me to supplement electrolytes. That didn't help either. When you're eating a healthy diet, you shouldn't have to supplement anything. Now keep in mind, I was really healthy until I started on the Carnivore diet. I had no health issues. When I went back to eating my normal diet, which is similar to the diet Dr. Paul eats... my hair grew back, my muscles came back, I could sleep again and my heart beats regular now. My blood work is great. I'm 56 and I climb mountains like I did in my twenties. I have no health issues and all I can say is the diet that Dr. Paul has works great for me. And I must say that God didn't create all these wonderful fruits, herbs and vegetables for us to never savor and enjoy them. It's the processed foods that we shouldn't be eating. Diets shouldn't be confusing or hard to keep and follow. When I travelled to the Philippines... I noticed they ate lots of fresh fruits every single day. They seemed very healthy and don't have the diseases we have here in America. So it's the processed foods that are bad and not the fresh fruits. God made fruit for us to eat. But man makes the things that harm us... the vegetable and seed oils and processed sugars and chemicals. It's not confusing at all if you just use common sense and listen to God. Look at how are ancestors ate over 100 years age. They didn't have the diseases we have now. And they ate more than just meat. It's just crazy to limit yourself when God gave us so much to enjoy here on Earth.

Classy as always, Paul. Love how you said if it works you, keep doing it. I’ve seen so many people bash your diet because fruit messes them up. Maybe so, but so many other people, myself included, thrive off of fruit. It doesn’t have to be one diet that’s the only right one for all humans

How can you say it’s because he misses the sweet taste of sugar? I had no energy on carnivore, but I was totally content on the diet and had no cravings. I had to add carbs back for energy. To say I did it because I missed sweets would be wrong. Why jump to conclusions like this?
@@PeaceIsJesusChrist if your body needs sugar your liver makes it called gluconeogenesis.

Do you currently feed your cats raw or cooked ground beef? I want to do this for my cats!

Wow that's amazing, I had a similar experience to yours.
I get electrocute imbalances too. I tried eating one strawberry and had stomach cramps and slight diarrhea. I tried a few different times with different fruits but always a very small price to see what would happen and the same thing happened. Thoughts?

He probably does coke. He’s aging badly.

Step 1: Eat an insanely unnatural amount of organs, until acquiring vitamin A toxicity
Step 2: Revert to sugar/carb addiction, which appears to fix problems from Step 1 as it blocks nutrient uptake, thus slowing down the hypervitaminosis. Ignore the fact that it skews uptake of all the OTHER vitamins too, causing all sorts of other problems both short and long-term
Step 3: Instead of fixing the root problem of organ overconsumption, double down and start an ORGAN SUPPLEMENT BRAND so more people can follow the same confused path
Step 4: Profit

He is obsessed. He’s obsessed with managing something about himself and proving to everyone he’s in control.
If only he had eaten the whole egg 🥚! Scrambled eggs 🥚 are delicious 😋!!!

Judy, this was a very thoughtful and cordial analysis. Thank you. Much respect.
Always been a Judy cho fan!! Fantastic job using facts . Paul needed to be debunked .
I have never seen Paul explain any of what I shared. Dr Cate Shanahan has the best explanation of anyone in the nutrition space hands down.

Paul seems to think his blood sugar is low and fine based on A1C, but what he's consuming is not mostly a glucose source - it's mostly a fructose source or sources. His glycation could be substantial - this could be a cause of the inflammation you're guessing he's suffering (or a contributing factor).
He should have gout checked it doesn’t really measure purines. It measures fructose.
@@DramaHeart good to know, thx. I liked that Judy is encouraging him to think things through better and to use his gifts to help people. That was positive.
Yes I think he has some underlying undiagnosed problem & this high fructose diet is going to bigger problems.
Well, he's intaking more glucose than we thought and not much of an A1C issue. I am pretty sure if I ate that much fruit, I'd be in trouble. As Judy points out, he seems to have non-keto/non-diet issues/problems.
I really admire how open minded Paul is. He is actively searching for more information and trying new things. I can’t say the same for most doctors or people in general.
True. A lot of diet zealots, with cult like behavior or the doctors that treat the numbers without looking at the whole patient because “guidelines” 🙄
He isn't looking for information. He changed when he needed to get more followers.
I tried recently just as an experiment to drink 500 ml. of orange juice after 2 years on carnivore/ketovore. WORST reactive hypoglycemia ever. First I got serious hunger cravings - the type you NEVER feel on carnivore - then shakiness and unwell. Had to buy an ice cream on the way home just to get my blood sugar up, then slept it off and fasted. Never doing that again.
Not surprising you have a strong reaction when you haven’t had any carbs for so long
I had a small reaction couple weeks ago at work when my electrolytes drink had a few carbs in it.
I had a slight headache, felt nauseated, and ended up feeling weak and tired because of it,
and the electrolytes are supposed to help with your energy, did the opposite for me with carbs, wtf!
It’s interesting, you’re saying someone is wrong that is twice as healthy as you are, interesting. Maybe, just maybe there’s more to it than you think.
So carnivore made you diabetic?
Amazing
500 ml is crazy, normal person drinks 250 ml.

Thank you for making this well informed, common sense video.
I noticed this too. He was short of breath throughout this video.

Thank you very much for this video, Judy!
He probably "learned" that telling people they can eat lots of glucose and fructose with your steak makes for a much larger following.
Going by the amount of people who defend him I’d agree with you. The glucose addiction/justification is strong in these people!
and makes more money. so sad
I wonder how his liver is doing with all that fructose? I hope he soon realises.
Nothing , he's eating non man made fruit.
Well done, very thorough and your videos are always a must watch!
He worked out like a maniac, did not eat enough fat, busted his adrenals, ended up with low T, then got on sugar.
Now you can see how fast sugar, and workout stress are aging him.
And there's NO test to show the damage from fructose. Test for glucose damage is A1C, not applicable to fructose.

Paul is a carb addict. He tries really hard to justify his sugar and carb cravings, but that's not working out too well for him or his followers.

I have.

Hi!
Also, I’m sure you’ve heard of the experts all telling women our age that we need to do heavy lifting in order to stimulate the central nervous system to grow muscle, but I have learned that overcoming isometrics will also stimulate the central nervous system, and it is a much, much safer way to build muscle!

In this video it appears Judy may have hinted that Paul's body is fighting something. Could be from the mold? Diet is not a one size fits all. I tried carnivore for 10 months when I didn't lose any weight with my Hashimoto's not improving. I was heavily dumping oxylates and after watching Sally K Norton discuss Toxic Superfoods adding some low oxylate plant foods that don't make me bloat helped me to slow down the oxylate dumping. Early on I did make a mistake following one Carnivore podcaster claim we should consume a stick of butter per day until I quickly quit. After switching to high protein, moderate fat and low carbs i easily lost a dress size this year.
Thank you 😊
You did it wrong and you suck
It is a one size fits all actually. Diet is only the first step, not the only step. There are a myriad of things that cause health issues that can't be fixed just by eating meat on its own.
@@koolburn5218 nah not everyone can do a carnivore diet and thrive.
LOL one stick of butter a day is way too much for sure.

During the cooking process, macronutrients (proteins, fats and carbohydrates) and micronutrients (vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids and other beneficial substances) are lost.
1. Protein (macronutrients)
Proteins denature during cooking, which means that their structure breaks down due to heat. Denaturing proteins affects their digestibility and bioavailability:
Denaturation: heat disrupts the three-dimensional structure of proteins, making them less functional. Although the body can still digest these proteins, it loses some of their natural benefits. For example, the raw proteins in meat or eggs contain natural enzymes that aid digestion. However, after cooking, these enzymes disappear and the body must produce its own enzymes to break down the protein efficiently.
2. Fats (macronutrients)
Heat treatment of fats can lead to their oxidation, which causes the formation of toxic substances and free radicals:
Fat oxidation: fats, especially unsaturated fats, are very sensitive to heat.
3. Carbohydrates (macronutrients)
Carbohydrates undergo changes during cooking that can affect their nutritional value and the way the body uses them:
Caramelization and Maillard reaction: when carbohydrates and proteins are exposed to high temperatures, Maillard reaction and caramelization occur. This process can cause the formation of toxic compounds that damage cells and tissues in the body. These compounds are also associated with a higher risk of cancer and other chronic diseases.
1. Vitamins (micronutrients)
Vitamins are very sensitive to heat, light and air. They break down and degrade rapidly when cooked, which means that the vitamin are greatly lost during cooking.
2. Minerals (micronutrients)
Minerals are more resistant to heat than vitamins but can be lost during cooking:
Leaching into water: when meat is cooked in water, minerals leach into the water.
3. Enzymes
Enzymes are crucial for digestion and metabolism and are destroyed at temperatures above 48°C.
4. Amino acids
Amino acid denaturation: cooking can damage some essential amino acids such as lysine and methionine, meaning the body cannot get the full benefit from these proteins.
5. Antioxidants
Antioxidants are substances that protect cells from oxidative stress and free radical damage.
Thank you for this thorough explanation.

thats the biggest thing about electrolytes.
Not only USA. UK, Europe, South Africa and India to name a few places
What's your average day of eating entail?
Check if you're not undereating and/or if you're too low in fat intake.
Resistance to certain foods is a natural process. It's your body telling you they were never proper foods for you to eat. When we're on a standard diet, the inflammation is high due to too many foods we shouldn't be eating. When you overcome inflammation, your body should be handling better with toxic stuff, thus making you react to them quicker.
About the vertigo, could you possibly have built up wax in your ears causing water to get behind it & not drain. I’ve been having that issue past few years & have to have them syringed out every few months.
Try the No-Plant GAPS protocol to heal your gut microbiome.
Have you ever heard about a helminthic therapy? It's a new and promising field of research. Very niche. That would require for you maybe to switch to raw meat for a period of time. I noticed that I got histamine issues on a carnivore diet after I dewormed.
Would not be surprised if Saladino is eating breads, pasta and pizza next year and saying is the best thing you can do. I call him the Random fake MD.
Yeah and he will show studies to prove it hahaha. Dude is stressed out of his mind working out like a maniac.

100% he dropped off carnivore because he overeat organs and caused an electrolyte imbalance.
And not enough fat.
And having underlying inflammation of unknown origin
What a spectacular video. I was one of those people that under ate on Lion diet for 18 months and finally derailed. Tried Paul’s recommendations and Put on 36 pounds, really discouraging, and felt Awful from all old gut issues and inflammation returning. Back on Lion for 3 weeks and finally feeling better, and off the sugar drive train. Whew! Monitoring protein intake now much more closely, this is for my Health now and not scale victory. Know your “WHY”- your health ALWAYS must come before a number on a scale! Take my mistakes and learn from them. Be gentle with changes and patient with your body, as you have probably put it through the wringer. Be well Friends ❤
@Indigo, I’m so sorry that happened. :( When adding carbs back, it’s important to add them in slowly and to do low fat animal sources in the beginning. Jay Feldman has a video on transitioning from carnivore. Most people in the Bioenergetics space are ex carnivore.
I hope things get better for you. Are you doing homemade bone broth for your gut? Have you tried a 24 or 36 hour fast? That can really help with gut issues too.
