Chris Cornell was in Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple of The Dog and did solo original and cover songs. Temple of The Dog was a special project that he did with members of Pearl Jam and Soundgarden after the death of his roommate and friend Andrew Wood. Andrew Wood was in Mother Love Bone and sadly passed away from an overdose. The Temple of The Dog song, Say Hello To Heaven is especially powerful. Their song Hunger Strike Is also great. Audioslave was made up of Chris and the members of Rage Against The Machine. Cochise is a great song by them. Other great songs are Like A Stone, Show Me How to Live and I Am The Highway. Soundgarden: Spoonman, Fell on Black Days, Rusty Cage, The Day I Tried to Live, Burden in My Hand, and Black Hole Sun
Everything Chris Cornell touches os gold!!! Thank you for Soundgarden. Great songs like birth ritual, rooms a thousand years wide, jesus christ pose. Plus his work w Audioslave and temple of the dog. Not to mention is solo work. You reacted to his prince cover of nothing compares to you. RIP Chris Cornell ❤❤❤
Yes! Amazing Soundgarden song. One of my favorites. Chris Cornell is an all time great vocalist with an amazing career. RIP. Chris always had his shirt off and was beautiful to look at. All the abs 😍
Chris Cornell was such a clean powerhouse singer !!!.......love his vocals.......and omg, yes, he was 6'3" of manly beauty !!.....that hair, those blue eyes, those kissable lips........oooh, i'm shivering just typing that....LOL.....RIP, my man, we miss you down here.
Fell down your rabbit hole tonight and i want to thank you for how open you are to all kinds of music. That is ehat the 80's and early 90's were about. Metal, dance, pop, whatever
ahh! Soundgarden! what a coincidence, i was just listening to their song "Spoonman" before i turned on UA-cam and saw this reaction you did today. i recommend Spoonman, too.
I watch your face. You are so connected to MUSIC. I love it!! I mean, you're like me, certain notes and moods and changes truly affect your emotions. I can see it. It makes me SO HAPPY!!
Chris himself was a champion for Eddie Vedder.... the only lead singer left of the "greats" of grunge. God Bless Chris, Layne, Andrew, Kurt, Scott Weiland and all the others who left us too soon. Thanks for blessing us with your gifts..... Long Live Eddie Vedder!!!!!!!
It's really sad to listen to this old Soundgarden material and see that even way back then he was dealing with the same issues that ultimately resulted in his passing decades later. All those old songs talking about depression, drugs, alcoholism and so on.
HE DID A COVER OF BILLIE JEAN HE SANG NOTHING COMPARES TO YOU Temple of the Dog SAY HELLO TO HEAVEN HUNGER STRIKE Soundgarden FELL ON BLACK DAYS LIKE SUICIDE
That's Chris Cornell! If you want to hear his best screaming vocals of a more melodic tune you must react to his other band Temple of the Dog, the song is Say Hello to Heaven. Do the one live at the Moore Theatre, it is soooo good and he's soooo beautiful in it!!!!!!!
The most powerful vocal performance I've ever heard from Chris was Beyond the Wheel live in Dusseldorf Germany in I believe 1990 or 91, if you haven't heard that performance you owe it to yourself to listen to it, Chris absolutely kills it.
Interesting reaction and analysis! Cornell said the song's lyrics is about his outer self and image of a handsome man at the time didn't match him feeling really low with bad self esteem. Hence the lyric "I'm looking California / and feeling Minnesota". I wonder hiw they feel about that line in Minnesota. But I say you interpretation was basically spot on. Please react to 'Plowed' by Sponge. Another great song with deep lyrics from the 90s.
Chris Cornell was a member of 3 bands 1.Temple Of The Dog -check out hunger strike 2. Soundgarden which your watching now 3. Audioslave- checkout Like A Stone and he also does music as a solo artist checkout Sunshower All this talent is why he is sorely missed, he touched so many lives with his amazing voice R.I.P 🌹🌹😢
Outshined was another song written about Andrew Wood, his friend, roommate and front man of Mother Love Bone. Chris always admired Andrew for his vocals and song writing.
I see you really dive into lyrics. This is the censored version which leaves out the first half of the second verse: Someone let the dogs out They'll show you where the truth is The grass is always greener Where the dogs are shitting 💩 Oh yeah P.S. Great reaction and love the channel.
Chris Cornell was to me at least the greatest rock singer to ever do it....from like 89-94 he was peerless....listen to “Slaves & Bulldozers” or “Call Me a Dog” from the Temple of the Dog album, amazing vocal performances

I think we walk a dangerous line of pushing our kids too much and not enough. We want to set an example of striving and success where failure is not an option. But failure is a reality and we need to pick them up when they fall. I, for some reason, think he struggled until his death, with being Outshined by someone, maybe his father? I know I have found it difficult to live up to what my father is and achieved, and even though I put my best foot forward for my kids to guide them, if they knew of my failures and mistakes, they would probably feel some relief from trying to live up to our expectations. Chris achieved great success from the public view but still battled demons to his end. Sadly I don’t think he could ever forgive himself for not living up to something,,, what, we may never know

I definitely appreciate your honesty with the, "his shirt off" comment.
Hilarious because it's true. Enjoyed that comment.
Yeah, let’s not forget he was the face for John Varvatos menswear line (in 2006 I believe). He had model good looks, and the height/body for it.
