Fred durst is super charismatic, the rest of the band are amazing in their own way to contribute to a simple yet unique sound that makes them very original.
October 18, 1998 Kiefer UNO Lakefront Arena, New Orleans, Louisiana. Thank you so much and God bless you a million times for posting this great and precious pro shot concert video. They are on fire here, look, and sound so good. This band never gets old. I've never seen this particular show before. The bass guitar is really audible throughout this whole show. Just don't tell Lars for God's sake, seriously.
I went to a private Christian school. I remember being in junior high thinking Fred durst was so fuckin cool. The idea of me going to a show like this was basically the same as if I wanted to take a trip to Mars. I remember talking about family values and Woodstock 99 like “oh man did you hear? Jake got tix to Woodstock 99” like it was the coolest fuckin thing you could possibly do. Anyways the nostalgia is real and 20 years later I still think Fred is fuckin cool
I love their late 90s shit. The live shows were so awesome and psychedelic with the crazy alien stuff going on, all Wes' mastermind obviously...it was like a Beavis and Butthead version of a KISS show lol
My cousin was a big Korn fan and had a VHS of the Family Values tour. I borrowed it to watch Korn and loved the whole thing. Orgy, Limp, I've Cube.... Damn there's some other big names I'm forgetting. Still need to catch Limp Bizkit live one day.
I was at the same show crazy!! Every band was memorable and put on amazing energy, I’ll never forget how loud Orgy was, Rammstein was insane, Bizkit was great, Cube and Korn in their Prime never been to another show like that all the years since
Maaaaannnnnn !!! I remember I was 14 yrs old and I seen this tour when they come to fort worth Texas it was my first show ever and still nothing lives up to it I used to have the vhs tape playering this on repeat 🔁🥴🥴🥴
I was there and I remember Fred telling the people in the seats to get down on the floor, a bunch of people including myself, jumped the rail. I remember seeing security grabbing some, but couldn’t get them all. Great show and a great time for music!
Yes and everybody started running to the floor it was complete chaos I remember this One dudes head was shaved with nothing but the bangs in the front and he had fruit loops going through his front bangs and people were eating them off of his bangs while they were in the mosh pit 🤣🤣🤣🤣
You know Wes Borland claims he tried to get the rest of Limp Bizkit to dress up in costumes. Well here and this tour I think they tried it to a certain extent. Sam Rivers is rocking the orange contacts. John Otto is wearing face paint. Who knows what would the band would be like live if all 5 members did it
@@ewskie everyone in that band has their own image... but the picture is becoming very clear ... they were all right ✅ 👌 I love all their styles & they remain Dope Af 🙌🙌
Jut got done seeing them this weekend second time this year ...just using this to stretch out the fix! Already teeing up the third time! #FestivalJunkie
I like to imagine that Borland is being excessively extra on wAcKy SpOoKy and Rivers is over there mocking him, which looks strange in late 90's Dudebro attire.
I just looked up family values and things, use to watch videos family values with friends and still like it ,it badass, I checked out even cristrain worship and things like that,I homeless get into place, use live years ago and here about friend I use to hang with, dieing or something,God bless

@@rustyshack122 yeah i know now but was too lazy to change it
This song is called 'Trust' from Sig Other. They just played the intro and first verse with no vocals before transitioning to SMWYG
@@adampedder6068 its cambodia track no. 8 on the offical family values 98 cd
sig.other was released on june 1999 about one year after this show
@@adampedder6068 No it's Cambodia. Later they split the song in half and used the parts to write Trust and Show Me What You Got.
Just in case it hasn’t been said yet, Wes’s tone is MONSTEROUS.
If only they hired their own FOH producer to adjust levels, cause obviously every good guitarist wants to monster it!
so were his hits of meth 💀😂😂😂
@@TylerStoneking56 bro didn't do meth as far as i know. was on adhd medication, though
Wes is goated
Wes is not from ‘round these parts…An absolute phenom…

Oh the nostalgia 😢 I wanna be back in the carefree days of 98. Just 21 and having fun. Driving around with LB blasting my eardrums.
Espectacular verlos en todo su esplendor, entregadisimos por que simple y sencillamente no tienen nada que perder!!!!

One of my favorites tours. The other band was ramstein.
you are missing INCUBUS also
Good luck
Incubus would be the band to convince me to go, as much as I love all the bands
2:59. Durst is actually a super good vocalist. He's a master of his form.
He’s the counterfeit
@@ewskie I wonder what it's like to be a clone.
this set list is soo much better then now-a-days
Memorables años 90s maestros.
i have this vhs still. i watched this so many times back in the day. i love this tape so much. what a time to be a youngster
Saw this tour in Auburn Hills, MI with Korn, Ice Cube and Orgy. They all killed it. Ice Cube and Korn (Children of the Korn) was INSANE!

THIS Is over one quarter of a Century old... gawd I feel old
Wes the Legend. He was the real deal. If only he had teamed with a proper, better metal singer
Nu Metal antics are absolutely fun to watch!!!
My first dvd was the family values tour and i didn't even have a dvd player yet. Dvd's were a new thing.
It seemed wack at the time but in hindsight, they knew what they were doing 🤘
There's nothing wack about limp bizkit
I thought they were wack at the time... looking back now they were actually pretty sick!
Any Art style that Limp Bizkit came up with is better than EVERY SINGLE Lady Gaga show combined
