- In days 5-8, I got the engine fuel leaks fixed, the body back on, the dash re-wired, and everything put back together just in time! @onXOffroad selects the winner of the #onxbuildchallenge Wildcard today! I wanted to show them I have what it takes and get this done to help make their decision easier! Fingers crossed! Let me know what you think.

I can’t agree with a diesel anything, but you did a great job on the conversion! Most UA-cam channels would’ve butchered the conversion with cut/grind- heck withit just duct tape it approach. You took the time and made it look stock so far. Hats off to you!
@@mattboyer7812 thank you very much. Keep watching future videos, it came out better than I imagined.
Love the family banter and the content as a whole!
@@patrickobrien5424 awesome feedback, thank you!
We need a walk around on your dad’s van. It looks so clean!
@@brokenwrench404 it is pretty bitchin’. I’ll do a video on it for sure!
@@Chasing518 cool
Second That!
Cant wait to watch this entire build. Im in the process of putting a 7.3 idi in my 92 bronco
@@spencerwitty838 awesome!
Your killing it on this build!
@@MacsSpecialitiesMotorsports thank you! Been a fun grind so far!
@@Chasing518 Atta Guy!
Awesome job Kevin. I cut like 2 brackets off in that same 2 weeks. We are not the same
@@anthonywoodall8854 😂💪🏻
Congratulations on the start up. I too was that 16 year old that wanted loud trucks. 50 years later not so much.
@@matthoward923 right?!
For my build I used the truck harness and the just wired the rear window separately. I found that to be more easier. Since I didn't keep the ABS and this helped me eliminate issues. Since I had a dual tanks and factory tow package.
Nice. I was trying to just make it look/work as factory as possible.
@@Chasing518 that is very cool.
Love this thing by the way
@@ThreeOhTwoBOSS thank you! I think it will be a blast to drive!
Here in Australia, our pipe's have to come out the rear or behind any opening windows, but it's coming along great, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Good to know!
So cool that you’re knocking out work this fast and managing to film, and edit, and post, legend!🎉 loving this build, can’t wait to see what you do on the front end.
@@michaelpizzo2205 thank you! I often question my sanity for being so invested in all aspects of this (doing the work, filming, editing, etc), so I really appreciate it when folks enjoy it
Love the work keep it up and turn down exhaust is great on a Bronco when you go down a Dusty Trail cuz it kicks up so much dust behind you so if somebody is following Too Close they get dusted out ❤
@@chrischarles3136 😂 it is illegal on our race cars but everyone does it anyway for exactly that reason!
A turn down is bad on a suv because is sits under the vehicle and can get into the cab if parked idling. Learned the hard way back in the 90’s with an 88 bronco
Yes, the exhaust fumes will come back in once the rear window is down. I had that on my 95!
@@Alsol-lr7tr great info, thanks!
This is bad ass!
@@andrewdavidralph i mean….it’s no mint condition XJ, but it’s pretty cool! 😝
Love the concept! This is too cool.
@@4WillyD thanks! I’ve had this vision in my head for a while, it has been fun to execute it
your are the best and I am good Friends
@@KHam-t5p thank you for the kind words!
All of the OEM exhaust routing for SUVs with roll down rear windows (that I can think of) is side exit at the rear corner
@@Tanner731 i agree. I made the mistake of dual pipes out the back of a 71 bronco once. Big mistake at speed
so badass
@@kevindugan9379 thanks! Pretty excited about this one
Absolutely finish the tailpipe out the side. Straight back not will come back in through the back window. I had a turn down on a 88 bronco and sitting in traffic you could smell the exhaust coming up into the body.
I had 3 kids in the back seat at the time so it had to be altered
@@brokenwrench404 great info! Thank you!
Thanks for sharing this. I really enjoyed it and looking forward to seeing it drivable. I do have a question, while you had the room why didn’t you delete the ebpv/pedestal, known oil leak and EGT restriction. I get it’s a budget but for EGTs and turbo performance they are great. Bellow up pipes are a PITA to install. Maybe you could have installed them and they can stay on a turbo upgrade unless you go t4 in future. But don’t listen to me. This would have been a 1 year project for me!!!! Very impressive.
@@jeremykeith3152 if I do any upgrades, it will be a T4 like my truck, so save the money and do it once, later. Just breaking it all loose and applying copious amounts of anti seize should help tremendously if I upgrade later.
@@Chasing518 love the Obs. I have a 95 and been working it for few years. My dedicated camping rig. I love that they are smog exempt here in Cali. Great platform to wrench on. Thanks for the reply. Enjoy the long weekend
I'm surprised you didn't ditch the up-pipes in favor of bellowed up-pipes, to eliminate that point of failure in the turbo system.
@@toyomatt84 it killed me not to, but I want to put a full Rican built T4 system on it, so just replacing the donut gaskets for now and slathering bolts in anti seize was best long term budget idea.
Muffler would be pointless lol. Turbo is the best muffler a 7.3 can get. The rest is the engine it’s self being loud.
@@ThreeOhTwoBOSS very valid points. The best 7.3 muffler is more firewall insulation!
Just wondering what's that Black Bronco you drive by in the driveway about
@@chrischarles3136 that is my daughter’s 94 Nite edition. I offered her the diesel first, but she said no, so we put her up for adoption.

Fuel line recommendations
I’m doing a bronco swap in my garage right now getting ready to take the body off and get rid of the old bronco frame. I’m sitting it on a E350 van frame that I cut 33 inches off. I wanna do what you didn’t get all the underneath done so that way I ain’t laying on my back doing it.
@@kennyruth9300 i used the factory lines out of the donor truck. The only part I had to figure out was a short section of supply and return near fuel tank, so I just used high pressure line and fuel injection hose clamps
@ smart!
Hi Do you interested in adding some LED upgrade or a switch panel to your rig? We hope to do some sponsorship with you!
