- In this week's episode, it's time to hook up and charge the A/C, get all the lights working, and re-install the grill/headlights up front. We are one step closer to taking this thing for a spin! A couple hiccups along the way, but good progress nonetheless. Next episode I will should be ready to finalize the rear suspension/ride height and test fit some big tires!
You do great work. It’s nice to see someone else who is obsessed with 90s fords as much as I am.
@@seanporter5038 thank you! My love for these things is a sickness for sure.
See this people? He DE-PINNED the connector and RE-PINNED the replacement into the harness. He did not hack and butt-connect. Thank you for showing UA-cam audiences the right way. Good work, great build!
Per the Googles as I didn't know off hand either:
3157: A 3157 bulb has four wires, which are called double wires. It has two brightness levels, one for higher brightness and one for lower brightness. 3157 bulbs are often used in cars for back up, reverse, trunk, and dome lights.
3257: A 3257 bulb has two wires, which are called single wires.
Thank you and great info!
It’s amazing how close to bolt in this swap was……. Going to be a killer rig can’t wait to see it finished
@@travismerrix4391 it really is amazing. So far I’ve drilled 2 holes, welded 1 tab, and cut off 2 brackets.
That’s gonna be an awesome rig when your done , them 7.3’s can distinctly be heard from a ways off. I had a lifted excursion on 39’s but drunk driver decided to have their way with it.
@@DanDan_and_the_boys thanks, and sorry to hear about the Excursion. We just got a beat up one with a 7.3, been trying to give it a new lease on life.
Great video today Kevin! Very inspirational the quickness and commitment you are working this.
@@frankeck5493 thanks Frank! Really trying my hardest to impress the @onxoffroad judges and win this thing!!
Nice job Kevin! Looking forward to the following vids.
@@bRad73016 thank you sir! Felt good to get some of these necessary small tasks checked off the list before I cut off the suspension!
Years ago squirrels decided to squat in my f350. They chewed the wiring ,some vacuum lines and, sensors in the engine bay. I bought a new harness and stuff to replace the damage . And to this day what’s left of the old harness hangs on the shop wall in case I need an plug
@@matthoward923 oh man! Brutal, but smart to save it!
This is awesome! Thanks for taking the time to share buddy
@@jeremykeith3152 absolutely! There will be at least 4 more videos during the build up. I have an axle and front suspension to build, interior to pimp out, bumpers to make, winch to install, etc. LOTS to do in the next month and a half!
You are definitely skilled enough to do it. I would love to convert my 95 2wd to 4WD. Just unsure how but to be fair I have not looked into it much.
Looking good kevin
Good choice on the grill. Awesome trouble shooting
@@anthonywoodall8854 honestly got lucky finding those pins pulled out! Could easily have missed that.

@@andrewdavidralph you know it! 🤘🏻
Grey Grill for the win!
@@andrewdavidralph thanks for the vote of confidence! I think it looks very fitting!
You should hook up a vacuum pump to the A/C lines befor you add refrigerant to the system
“Should”
Gray grille… Yahtzee Bingo! 👍
@@RydingHike right?! Couldn’t decide. 😂
a winch behind the stock bumper would be cool
@@Tanner731 i agree! I haven’t thrown it away yet, so it could happen
@@Chasing518 harbor freight winch plate and some creativity should get ya there!
@@Tanner731 i love those winch plates from HF! Used at least 4 of them over the years.
Back window work?
Unfortunately I still don’t know…..the window motor/glass are broken.
Hey come on up here to Canada and I'll build you a bumper... lol...
😂 a little far, but thanks for the offer!!🤘🏻
@@Chasing518 Oh come on road trip...lol... Great build tho and yes grey grill all the way...
