How have I not seen your channel before? I love real people doing real stuff. Working in a garage and carport is awesome!!! Glad to finally meet you. Well UA-cam meeting.
Gonna say your looking good for 43 now. Happy Birthday whatever your age! Glad to watch a regular guy working on vehicles - no race shop or business like the other teams in the OnX competition!
Out of curiosity are you planning on adding weld washers to the coilovers mounts? I'm going to run the same type of mounts (tube truss and C) on my KP70 and not 100% convinced I don't need them.
So I guess you’re not an alternate now that Rory and Colt dropped out. Welcome to the show I guess. lol. Can’t wait to see the full size Bronco 7.3 in action.
Thanks! We soaped it up, but maybe not enough. upon further inspection, it was a factory tinted/laminated window, instead of a tempered window. I’ve man handled tempered glass WAY more and never broken one. So I am blaming that. 😂
Been a firefighter for the last 20 years, but cars/trucks/bikes have always been my passion, so I am “making a go” at this. We’ll see if it takes off. 🙏🏻
39th . When I was building my truck a guy told me if it clears at bump it will clear while flexing if you have a track bar because of how it pushes the axle side to side.
Should I push the front axle at least two and a half to 3 in forward from the factory location, so the tire doesn't hit the rear corner at the fender well
Since you're not a woman I can be honest... 41? Love the build. I think your six 10.8 bolts (assuming they're M12 or bigger) will be solid for that 3rd link mount. Keep up the progress - Lookin' really good dude!
You need to hookup with the other big names like fabrats tomtom or any of them and get your channel out there. your content is Awsome and deserves the 500k subs. keep this going and I have a good feeling one day your going to wake up to a huge surprise!!! I subscribed and will for sure buy a T-shirt and hat when you get there!!
@@rcsanks that is soo kind of you. Thank you! And that is my hope with the OnX challenge. I will be competing against Fab Rats and a bunch of other good channels. Hoping that helps a lot. I would love to do this full time.
And you can also buy them already with “tint” or smoked whatever you want to call It. I bought panels on Amazon and made a cardboard template to cut it out

Awesome! Glad you found it. Share it with your buddies!
Same here, came from Holly's channel.
Your little girl is so silly 😊
Reminds me of my daughters when they were younger ❤
The little one has SO much personality. We have no clue where she got it, but she is a riot
Gonna say your looking good for 43 now. Happy Birthday whatever your age! Glad to watch a regular guy working on vehicles - no race shop or business like the other teams in the OnX competition!
thanks! Actually hoping the race shop and business come someday, but I'll always be a regular guy working on vehicles!
Happy Birthday!! I'm gonna say 43! Great work on Bluey!!

Been following the build and binged the series again. Awesome work.
I’m gonna say you’re 43. Happy Birthday!
Awesome! Thank you! Age announced this next Saturday.
42!!!!!!!
Cool build and I'm not even a Ford guy. Lol. My guess is 36 years young. Happy birthday!
@@shanes_bs2659 😂 that is probably the best compliment I could get!

I am not privy to the details on that, but I know I will be there!! Thanks for watching.
I just voted for you :) Glad you got in!! And for age I'll go with 17 for the 20th time :) Happy Trip Around The Sun!!
Thank you! age announced on tomorrow's video.
37 .you better hire that tractor driver looks like a good one bronco coming along well pretty cool you take time from your build to help Holly
Thanks! It was fun to go help Hollie.
I'm going 44. Amazing video, yet again.
Thank you! Trying hard to build a vehicle and a brand!
Happy Birthday! Great build! We're never over 40! Lol
@@roscoe535 😂 thanks!
Dude I love this build. I also love the liberty. You two got me conflicted lol. So voting for both.
All good! I appreciate the support. 👊🏻
@@Chasing518 you deserve it.
What's up with the clean WJ in the yard? Awesome build you have going. God bless and keep wheeling 🙏
It’s for sale! 1999 with 4.7L and 170k miles. Has a nice NP231 that I built, but the rest is stock and worn out.
Crazy how that weld didn't penatrate that's a sweet weld
Yeah, cast is weird. I never have good luck with it
Looks great man bummer about the window I would suggest soapy water next go around happy birthday keep up the great work can’t wait for next day off.

38 years old 🎉
40 isn't old for a tree!
they should have opened up voting for the "wild card" you guys!
That would be a tough come from behind in points, but I did just hear I am eligible for winning the competitions, so time to build a winner! 🥇
Great build and good to know “child labor” starts at 12ish 😂
I wish I could tell you it is sooner. 😂
Love the build! I'm going to guess it's your 44th birthday
Thank you! I'll announce the age guess winners in next week's video.
Must be 26! the build is coming along nicely,,, Need a Tagline for the Hawse
@@Solvefunction maybe just “2023 OnX Wildcard” or something commemorative?
There’s a lot more going on here than your normal backyard engineering.
Not sure what you are trying to say…..
2:40 Cut or Cuddle? lol
😂🤷♂️
What do you do for a living?
Love the build, you’re making crazy good progress!

What?
You said guess how old you where for your birthday.haha
Oh! Right. 😂 i was pretty tired when I edited.
44 yes young
4 to 6 degrees is factory. To little caster will cause death wobble. To much caster will cause wheel flop.
@@average-joe-citizen1 thanks. What I’ve always heard
Should I push the front axle at least two and a half to 3 in forward from the factory location, so the tire doesn't hit the rear corner at the fender well
Yeah. Current location is roughly 2” forward from stock.
Since you're not a woman I can be honest... 41? Love the build. I think your six 10.8 bolts (assuming they're M12 or bigger) will be solid for that 3rd link mount. Keep up the progress - Lookin' really good dude!
Thank you! And no harm in being honest!😂
Why are you not doing a 4 link on the front?
4 link doesn’t cycle well with mechanical steering, you end up with a lot of bump steer.
Is there a hydraulic throw-out bearing available?
Possible, but I honestly think it will be okay. We’ll find out soon!
I’ll say 42

Honestly I’d ditch the glass and do polycarbonate. I had 4Runners and those are the first glass pieces to blow out.
And you can also buy them already with “tint” or smoked whatever you want to call
It. I bought panels on Amazon and made a cardboard template to cut it out
That is not a bad idea. I have never wheeled an SUV, so that may be my learning curve!
I'll say 42 years old

Also, I have broke that exact glass on my Jeep hardtop twice now….both on ‘easy’ trails which is why I was running a top in the first place.
Yeah, tinted Lexan might be in my future.
