Everything negative I’m seeing revolves around their CVT. I’m trying to decide if I want to buy a lease turn in for my almost 16 year old. The sabotage out there is giving me pause.
Don't take this "7 AVOID" video stopping you from buying this affordable Rogue. With the current buyers market, this Rogue is a bang for your money. This UA-camr just wants to do a clickbait title and get people to view the video to make him money. I bought a used 2024 Rogue SV with 4k miles. And bought the car 4k below Kelly Bluebook. The Auto Start/Stop reminded me of my Toyota Prius. Because the engine stops when the car comes to full stop instead of idling and wasting fuel. I saved over 90 miles just from 15 minutes of the auto start/stop feature. The CVT is smooth and responsive, and like in any relationship, if you maintain it, it will last. This car is fun and drives solid. It will not do 0 to 60 in 6 sec, but it's will save you fuel and easy on the wallet.
I don't know what this video is trying to say but it seems entirely useless. Mom's "boulder grey" '21 Rogue Platinum is so nice that I might get a 2023/2024 Platinum for myself. It's very comfortable, is loaded with tech, the driving assists work well and it looks pretty sharp in that grey. The (old) 2.5L in hers doesn't feel slow and the CVT seems fine; she's coming from an Acura MDX (pretty quick/fun SUV) and I like sports sedans. A Rogue is certainly not the most engaging thing to drive but it's a very nice place to sit in as you do any trips. Having used it a few times, (we got 34mpg on our 50 mile trip) it's on my short list. It would be nice if Homelink was standard though.
Agree about the homelink. I did not realize it was not on the mirror. You have to get the frameless mirror option which I don't particularly like that. Not sure why they went that route.
Yes i think they are doing a nimber on Nissan vehicles , just dont understand why i drive in a Honda pilot and i experienced a lot of road noice but you never hearcor see any of this in print. I work with a number of people but two especially who have Toyota Highlander had to replace engines with less than 20, 000 miles you dont hear about these things
First of all I have to comment that I had a 2021 Rogue and now I gave got a 2023 Rogue, excellent cars both. Disappointing compared to the expectations I had about the new 2024 Nissan Rogue SL, since it does not have the same equipment and accessories, even with the premium package, of my 2023 Rogue SL. It is very sad that it has not improved except in information and the digital cluster, since it continues to be manufactured without the low level of window washer water alarm, without the Bose tweeter speakers, without the ambient light, without the Rogue light in the kick step doors, without the cover of the trunk, without the activation or unlocking buttons for the rear doors, without the interior frameless mirror and other "little things" that my 2023 SL does have, plus they no longer manufacture Rogué SL or Platinum in Brilliant Silver colors! It is supposed to be a matter of improving, updating and innovating and this is not happening! I must comment that the "leather" upholstery is still of poor quality, as are the piano black finishes. Thank you!
@@sabinejean-louis8885that’s pretty bad already. And near impossible. Stop the cap. Nissans having bad qualities for past decades, nothing to do with Renault but Nissan itself, look at Infiniti and Mitsubishi also Suzuki, same failure.

We are currently inside a Nissan Rouge 2024 , engine malfunction power reduced and waiting for the tow to come to tow it away. The car have 26 miles and im trying to see where the problem is and found this vid by chance. 😂
yup... and here's where no one who says they've had zero problems don't chime in. All over web you hear Nissan's are not as good as they once were, and specifically with their CVT transmissions. If you drive it less than average person, yes, you may get lucky. I wouldn't touch the car until I hear they've fixed their CVT transmission problems and stay away from turbo. That places more stress on an engine. Again, if you keep the car for only a few years, you'll have a good review. If you keep it 4 or more years and get over 75,000 miles, you'll start to feel the pain. Nissan's aren't and will never be as good as a Toyota. That's my opinion and I keep hearing of the same problems with it year after year.
This video is garbage. I have a 2023 Rogue SV 3cyl/turbo FWD & I absolutely LOVE it. When I'm in ECONO drive which is all the time, I get 32mpg in the city and 42mpg. on the highway. Great looks, great space, great price and tremendous fuel economy.
Other then the gas smell they can’t fix on some rogues including mine. It’s a great vehicle. The gas smell I’d becoming a deal breaker for me. My husband wants me to wait it out in hopes for another possible fix for those who still have an issue after the hose replacement. Fingers crossed.
One of the key things to know before buying a 2021 or newer Nissan Rogue is not to buy the “SV trim model” because 2021 or newer SV Rogue no longer has “the foot activated liftgate” like that of the 2018-2020 Rogue SV where it had the “foot-activated liftgate”.

Yes, made by a competitor that costs much more.
Let me guess honda and toyota are "better"
I just sell my 2011 rogue and nerve, Gives me problems with 135,000 m on
Yes i think they are doing a nimber on Nissan vehicles , just dont understand why i drive in a Honda pilot and i experienced a lot of road noice but you never hearcor see any of this in print.
Thank you!
Is the platinum color?
Nissan is the best ❤
Nissan makes garbage cars. Only the Z lines and Gtr's are any good.
@@kelvin869I currently have a rogue, had it for 5 years and not 1 issue.
Older Nissan are the best
@@sabinejean-louis8885that’s pretty bad already. And near impossible. Stop the cap. Nissans having bad qualities for past decades, nothing to do with Renault but Nissan itself, look at Infiniti and Mitsubishi also Suzuki, same failure.
AWD shuts off after 18mph..
Why not put the turbo on the 2.5 4 banger
That's not true. Awd is available at higher speeds than 18 mph.
i will keep my 2018 awd sv has the four has 134 ,,not 1234yf junk cable em brake ...that 3 cyl wont last ,i hate led headlights...list goes on...
Total BS on pickup and transmission . Both are good with no issues.
I test drive this car and it was amazing
Smells like a rogue speaking. Crazy dude.
Are you insane? Loud noise on the road? My Rouge is more quiet than my sisters Lincoln. Power with e AC on? you've got to be kidding. It has a CVT. Drive it as such. I did't buy a Comaro. At highway speeds it gets great MPG. I actually get 40 MPG on my 2 lane roads driving responsibly. Well, you have your opinion and I have mine. I've had this car for 3 years. It is amazing. Rev
Ummm, I’m driving a 24 Rogue and it smokes the old rogue. Especially in sport mode. It’s zippy as hell.
3 cylinder &Turbo are not good better with out less trouble.
I have a 2023 Nissan Rogue and I love it. It's far better than most vehicles I have test driven. This video is absolute bullshit. Go and show this video to your grandma.
lol…..must be a competitor doing this review. New engine is excellent and hwy mileage in our platinum is about 35 mpg. Nice try. This is a completely new cvt. Not the old one with issues.
I love my 2023 Nissan Rogue
My rogue runs like a bitch, I love it.wtf
Bs I have a brand new one. I had the 2015 escape b4 and so many issues. The new rogue is almost like a luxury car it's so nice mines 3cyl. Mine does no hesitation etc.
I love Nissan I don’t care what anybody says
Yea, not really any issues with our 24 Rogue.
I don't agree .I love mine.
Other then the gas smell they can’t fix on some rogues including mine. It’s a great vehicle. The gas smell I’d becoming a deal breaker for me. My husband wants me to wait it out in hopes for another possible fix for those who still have an issue after the hose replacement. Fingers crossed.
If they cant fix it after 3 tries you look into the lemon 🍋 law in your state
@@edswrld thank you. I will do that.
My 2023 Nissan rogue has zero issues lmao
My 21 Rogue has good power
Well it's no Mazda CX-5 in horsepower but its above average without adding hybrid technology for additional performance.
This video sounds like a Nissan hater....
Looks like a Nissan is making crap out a lot of car manufacturers including Toyota 😂😂😂
None of this is true I own a 2024
One of the key things to know before buying a 2021 or newer Nissan Rogue is not to buy the “SV trim model” because 2021 or newer SV Rogue no longer has “the foot activated liftgate” like that of the 2018-2020 Rogue SV where it had the “foot-activated liftgate”.
That is a miniscule detail when comparing the 2020/2021+ models
Got a 2024 and you took the most basic one, not fair
I would imagine the SV trim would be Nissan volume seller.
@@brokeboy87I love mine it’s awesome 😊
Total BS video. You can turn off the engine shutoff when stopped.. I have the 2024 Rogue Plattinum. I will say the wireless charging seems to overheat the battery on my phone. Never have a gas smell. This video is put out by the competition IMO. The Rogue is the most popular SUV.
I went to Nissan dealership and I liked the 2023 Rogue SL, unfortunately to lease this car they asked too much for it....also, after reading consumers reviews in Edmunds car about what this video mentioned, I went for a 2024 Honda CRV EXL with better deal. Wonder why?
Same thing here but i was looking for a sedan and went with the hinda civic nissan had longer wait times and and wasnt really impressed fromntue demo car they had
The Honda CRV is 20k$ more than the Nissan in my country I wonder why!!
Nissan has lagged the competition for years and thinks that it can mask its deficiencies via smart styling.
not true
Only problem I see is peoples opinions and yes the 1.5 engine is garbage
Wrong video ,Love my Nissan rogue
I have a rogue and don't have any of these issues. This is bullshit...just saying
we one do not do that
Big mistake get Nissan rouge 2023 have issues they can’t fix it
This video doesn’t know what it’s talking about
BS click bate post
