    It is fantastic to see a well-spoken, knowledgeable individual take the time to explain prawn spinners.Thank you!
    *Side note* The guy that owns Patagonia is one of the factors contributing to the demise of retention (hatchery) Chinook fishing... Anyone can support whomever they choose this is America. But he is a P.O.S. just FYI.

    I feel like the methodology of salmon and steelhead fishing is so much more thought out and consistent than the inshore bait techniques they use in the Gulf. When I go back to MS to visit, I'm definitely taking some of this wisdom with me for fishing the bayous and barrier islands down there chasing specks and reds. All you gotta do is scale it down a little bit and I think they'd be all over it.

      In the meantime I'll definitely hit our rivers armed with these techniques. I can't wait honestly

    Hey man, love your videos. Quick question. What is your reasoning for the smaller hooks? Ik curious to try it myself.

    • @walkingonwaterfishing
      @walkingonwaterfishing  3 місяці тому +1

      Its all about profile for me with a smaller hook the Coonshrip is the largest profile. Plus Size 1 Hooks have enough grab that it doesnt change much other than a smaller profile. Also what i have found once that springers chomp those size ones are locked.

    Ok, another dumb question, can you run those prawn rigs with the 3.5 blade without the inline clevis. I searched high and low today and everyone is out.
