I always wondered why people use two didferent size hooks with the small one at the back? Why not just run both the same size?

9x out 10 its hooked up on the trail hook with a smaller stinger hook I have found that a smaller hook pins the corner of the fishes mouth more times than a bigger hook. when a fish does get both hooks in the mouth its usually a bigger fish that trys swallowing the bait from my experience

Would you still recommend 6mm beads, setting up the smaller Brad's Kokanee Cut Plugs and the Pro Troll Kokanee Killer, or do use smaller beads? How about hook size?

Honestly i use 6 mil beads for Chinook, Sockeye, Coho and Kokanee. i do down size the hooks to little size 4 hooks!

I would just use two beads for a kokanee cutplug

Lived on the Kenai during the 90’s using mostly Kwik Fish and eggs with many variations. Have been fishing Brad’s products on the Columbia drainage since they came out and I just learned two new ways to make them better. Did subscribe and looking forward to new videos and products. Thank You, DocJim
