  • These Truck always find their way into my life when I least exact them to. This truck I saw 2 years ago when I sold a windshield to the owner of it. back then I was jealous about how rust free and clean it was. When It came back into the forsale market I knew I had to have it. I jumped at the opportunity to own a California clean fj60 on the east coast. This is what happen. Enjoy the journey to inquire another iconic wagon.

    Yeah our Ca trucks are well preserved. You will be amazed how easy it is to remove parts. Lol 😆

    Like finding gold right there!! Hope it’s not too much engine work, cause that is a wonderful specimen of 60 lore.

      No I don’t think so. The truck sat for a while so could be something to do with that. I’m not to worried about it. Going to be a great rig

    Very cool…I suspect she fetched a good price in the current condition. I only wish my Father bought me a classic cruiser to wrench on, but it would not have be in this pristine condition in Mass. Who ever winds up with this will be lucky and hope they keep in garaged and away from the salty roads. We’re it my decision I’d just put a couple coats of clear coat over that sweet patina once you make your repairs. Nice find and no heart transplant required! Keep on Crusin’!!

    Your search and finds for Land Cruisers inspire me to get my next 2 LC to start my business. But as of now I moved mine to HI and can't even get a front bumper for a decent price. Great find. Definitely don't think those are original rear view mirrors? Can't wait to see the finished product.

      O man are you right! I’ve been battling a few things on another truck that are slightly different

      I had my 60 on Oahu for several years and parts and shipping were a PITA to say the least. I have to ship a new (rare) gas tank from the mainland which was a wee pit pricey, but little options. The salt air did it few favors and had to do some major rust repairs around the rain gutter and windshield before I compromised the A pillars. All that said it was fun to cruise Oahu with my boards and camping gear! Keep on Crusin’!

    Could you tell me how hard, on a scale of 1 to 10, is taking the engine out to replace a seal. My cylinder head gasket is bad, leaking oil and coolant.

    • @mizeadventure9438
      @mizeadventure9438  2 роки тому

      Ehh depends on your experience level. I would say it’s a 7. But also if your going to go to the trouble to do all that I would just rebuild the motor at that point.

    • @anderslind8422
      @anderslind8422 2 роки тому

      @@mizeadventure9438 thanks, several gaskets need replacement, some you can do without taking the Motor out but the main leaks are from the cylinder head gasket.

      I’m aware I’ve built a few motors just saying that if it’s out why not just comb through the rest of the motor
