    I wish fender would update the tube deluxe with an effects loop

    • @jeremygalvan6238

      Fender needs to do a major update.
      1. Effect loop
      2. Reverb and vibe on both channels
      3. Adjust the normal Channel to be a different era much as Brownface/Blackface
      They could still offer the reissue for those who don’t want that.
      The custom series kind of does some of these.
      A master volume would be great too.

      Yea fender and Gibson just drop the ball on keeping enough of what people love about the originals while just adding workflow improvements that are more up to date. For example. Automatic tuners is ugly and corny. But would you lose customers just by re adjusting the tilt of the headstock and the position of the tuning pegs to keep the guitar in tune? And once again they could offer one version with updates and an original version for people who want that. But $3000 for a guitar that won’t stay in tune in 2023 is crazy. And with fender yes we really just want deluxe reverbs as you can tell by the stuff Two rock offers. Two rock offers exactly what we want with the updates of today without going so far that it’s a corny gimmick. The new Marshall studio JTM is a great example of offering us the exact amp the brand is known for while updating it to make sense for today’s musicians. My only thing with two rock is you have to be a grown man with a full time job to afford the amps and no grown man with a full time job has ever written a hit record.

    I was thinking that back when Leo Fender created his classic clean amp tones that it was before solid body guitars took off, a time when most guitarists still played hollowbody and semihollow body guitars that had Mickey Mouse ears.

    What would be the buying advice when considering which version of this amp to get ???? Is hard to tell from the video 🙏🏽

      Hi! We answered this question to another viewer down below, but I'll paste the answer here for you:
      Hey! It's kind of hard to choose really, they're both very good. I would pick the 6L6 if I were to use it as a pedal platform since it lacks the low power mode, and I'd run it into the cathode bias mode in order to get maximum sensitivity (Think Gravity by John Mayer). In the other hand if I were to crank the amp to get natural power tube distortion then the 6V6 on half power mode is the one I would pick.

    @waltgracevintage8620 Does it differ enough from a Fender 64 Custom Princeton Reverb to justify getting one aswell?

    • @waltgracevintage8620
      @waltgracevintage8620  8 місяців тому +3

      Well that would be like comparing oranges to apples. The Princeton is a small quiet combo while the vintage deluxe is a much bigger and louder amp. The tone is also different as the vintage deluxe can do so much while with the Princeton there’s not that many options. I would choose the princeton for portability but the vintage deluxe for anything else.

    how is it different from a deluxe reverb?

    • @waltgracevintage8620
      @waltgracevintage8620  9 місяців тому +2

      Hi! They're very different amps. The similarities end at the core which is the classic Fender tone, however when it comes to specs and features the Vintage Deluxe is on a whole different level.
      To mention a few... theres a Master Volume, FX Loop, Three band EQ, Gain Control, Dwell and mix Reverb Controls, Presence control, Two different Tone stacks (like having two channels), aesthetic customizations, higher power and headroom... and much more.
      So yes very different! If you're interested in watching the entire video we go over all of these features :)

    Sounds amazing. I might prefer it over both the CLRS and Bloomfield.
    @waltgracevintage8620 do you prefer the 6L6 or 6V6 version?
