@DarkenedCyrus that's awesome. I hope they do a white version to match my white build. The white from the original S, was just perfect. I appreciate it.
yes the 2 and 2s should BOTH have RGB... 2s is 50 more than 2 right now. so im paying that much more just to have the decive change colors its ridiculous
I started out with the Quadcast S. But now I have the HyperX Quadcast 2S! So yup, I got the one with the adjustable colors. And if I am correct, it has actually better sound that the Quadcast 2. So if you can get your hands on one, let me know. As that would be interesting. I can only compare the Quadcast S and the Quadcast 2S. So you might be able to check the difference between the Quadcast 2 and Quadcast 2S. Again let me know if you do.

Not questioning your integrity, but you probably shouldn't say "no money changed hands" as some bonus when getting the mic for free is effectively the same thing - there is money in your pocket that wouldn't be if not for hyperx
But, no money did change hands. They sent the mic for me to make a review on. The microphone isn’t cash or a form of payment? And unless people watch the video or buy the product, I don’t make money off of it, so hyperx isn’t paying me. Questioning my integrity isn’t something I take lightly and this is how product marketing works. This way, I can say whatever I want as I’m not beholden to what hyperx wants me to say, rather I can be objective.
@DarkenedCyrus The mic has a cost, not cheap either. Hyperx, or any company, provide it for free. Unless you have to return it after review, that company has financially benefited you before a word has been written. Hell, LMG understood this to the point of creating a separate channel for sponsored or provided products. Most companies label this under the marketing *budget*, so even they acknowledge there is a cost they are paying. I watch plenty of channels that receive some, even all their gear, but nothing of how they mention it has ever raised my ear or made me comment. I highlighted only that phrase about money changing hands. You could've ignored it. You could've replied "Noted", maybe even sarcastically, but this response reads as a nerve was pressed
I try to reply to all comments, even those as forward as yours. Best I have for you is thank you for the engagement :) As for a nerve being pressed, it’s all good. Nothing hurting me on this end. I’m also not Linus and LMG, and what they choose to do is of their own choice. Does it add inventory value? Sure. Do most of these items end up being given away to other creators to either review who don’t have these connections? Yes. Do I also give these products away for events? Yes. I’m sure if you had researched my channel and brand to know how it works as much as you understand LMG, this would have been a non issue. I think you failed to hear the sentence before that where I acknowledge that they sent the product for review. But again, please comment for more engagement!
The Dial on the Back of the First HyperX Quadcast Popped off for me and I lost the knob. So this is definetly an upgrade.
Was on board until i seen it didn't have full rgb control. Still a great mic, but they missed a great opportunity in the revision.
