Hi will, a blocked dpf is a symptom of another primary problem as opposed to the problem itself. If you get your dpf cleaned out unless you find and fix the thing that's caused it it will just block up again. Common causes of it are driving lots of short journeys that don't allow the dpf regen to complete its cycle, faulty fuel injector, faulty egr valve, or faulty differential pressure sensors. It's well worth getting it properly diagnosed and fixed before you get the dpf cleaned out.
When I heard blocked dpf I winced a bit 😬 I’m no mechanic but when I last had a diesel with dpf, I was advised to give it a good drive every two weeks or so. So I’d do my shopping in the next town that day! I was also told that if it’s not looked after and it f***s up, it’s gonna cost a lot of money?
@@donkeywise if I've only done short drives over a couple of weeks I plug in an obd reader and look at the exhaust temps and dpf and drive it down the motorway in 4th for about half an hour, when it's doing a regen exhaust temp goes up from 200°- 600° when it drops back down I know it's done. You can get the dpf internals knocked out and the engine remapped but it depends on the vehicle and it is slightly illegal!
Thanks so much for the tips on this mate, I’ve scanned it a few times myself and with a mechanic friend and it keeps sayings it’s the dpf, we did change a sensor last week to try to remove the causes but didn’t seem to do anything so next idea was to get it cleaned but I’ll mention what you’ve said and see if we can look at the other things you mentioned! Appreciate the advice 😊

Hi Will🙂 To take your fajitas and breakfast wraps up a notch, heat up the tortilla either in the skillet or singe it a little (before you wrap it, of course). It adds to the flavor, and it helps it wrap better! Can't wait to watch more on 2.0🤘 Diane
Polyurethane is a great choice for your tables as it's easy to clean and highly durable. It is commonly used on restaurant tables and bar counters in the US.
Hi Will, it’s so good that your using Mary on a overnight, she looks superb inside, you did a really neat job, the upgrades are spot on. It looks more spacious and airy. A very enjoyable video. Thank you Will 🤟🏼👍✌️💖💖🤗
Great to see you out and about again! One thing with your table, I have the same, be careful not to over tighten the levers as they round very easily. Can’t wait for the next video 👍
Hi Will, about your spice rack rattling, it’s an easy fix buddy. Just get a piece of foam, cut it to size to fit nicely behind your spice rack, but just thick enough so that you must push the spice bottles into it after you get it mounted behind the rack. This will look neat and clean, and keep your spices from moving at all. You just need to find the right piece of foam rubber that will work correctly for your needs. 😊
Great to see you both back on the road again, even if it was another potential dogging carpark. You're created a wonderful van, be proud and keep up the adventures. But please don't ever go down the click-bait route like some, it makes a great channel a naff one!
24:08 lol you walked outside with your indoor sandals! Also waze displays the speed limit and warns you of speed camera among others, at least in Australia. I use Waze everyday and it's very handy. My Mazda 3 has a heads up display which have the speed and speed limit displayed all the time so I don't need to look at Waze each time :)
OMG buddy! Your Van is my dream Van! It's exactly all I need inside my van . So I'm saving this video for future build , if ever I can afford one . And I also subscribed with you to follow you and your perfect Van . SO PERFECT FOR ME!!!!
Waze has always given me speed and speeding warning, plus notifications of speed cameras and average speed zones. Very handy when I’m in France and Belgium as there cameras are dark grey
All of the plastics on my T5 were beyond grey and looked awful, so I gambled and sprayed them with a matt black rattle can removable peelable paint from from Lidl, £3 a can and its been on for nearly 3 years so far, hasn't aged a day, give it a bash mate.
Awsom video it's great to see you & marry back on the road. That was crappy of some one to throw a firework at your van. Thank goodness you didn't get hurt.
Keep us updated on the DPF. I have a camper, boxer, now at repair shop bcz blocked DPF. It enter limp mode so could only drive 80km/h (from German, back home to Sweden) 😢
If your pans are good, you don't need to use oil. If they're not, water is fine. If you're set on oil, as someone above said, get a bottle of frylight. It's what you'd end up with if you decided to invent a cooking oil especially for camping and vanlife!
Love the video, however! You're choice of park up was not your normal type.... No doggers! 🤣 You have a special talent for finding "by accident obviously" local dogging sites. 😅 😅
Great van please don't get rid of Mary.I am renovating my home and like you learning different skills.I love it really enjoy learning new skills thanks to you tube

Will and Mary back on the road is a good thing to see, glad you decided to keep her for now.

I've been thinking of raptor painting my bumpers too. I'll see how Will screws it up first lol
😂😂 you’ll see soon how it turns out
I think camper vans need an extractor fan above the cooker to remove cooking smells and moisture.
Mayonnaise is made with oil involved. Good call on using mayonnaise as cooking oil to cook
Enjoyed that will,Thankyou..best wishes from Wales 🏴
Glad you enjoyed it❤️
Mary looks great Will. Love it. ❤
She’s so much better now
This is the content which we all want❤
Hopefully getting out in Mary again soon!
You can use a splash of water instead of cooking oil
I didn’t even think of that 😂
Yeh water and a pinch of salt
Waze does warn you if you're going over the speed limit, and warn you of cameras, and traffic jams, in fact everything the other little screen does

I think the office was a good addition. It makes use of a chair that is hardly used otherwise.
It’s always used but it just makes it more practical
