I cannot believe how much more badass Klaudia is in 2 and 3 compared to the first. I didn't have anything wrong with the flute attacks, but seeing her fly into battle with the bow and land those amazing combos is just SO satisfying every single time

I'm so happy that Atelier games are getting more popular as they're all good to great games. Ryza is like Final Fantasy VII, in that it introduced a lot of new gamers to the series. At least that's what I think.

0:25 There is also the Atelier Iris which is a trilogy, but there were 2 different Iris'. One in 1st and 2nd game - she wasn't playable (only played a major role in a story) and the other which was a main and playable character in the 3rd game. Both of them looked kinda the same.

I really don't get how people don't like the combat in Ryza. It's like if turn based battles, Paper Mario battle actions, and an action RPG battle system rolled into one. It's easily the best Atelier battle system, and I've played at least 4 other games in the series. (Annie, Rorona, Ayesha, Escha and Logy)

@@infamousincubus2888 Just keep in mind that the battle system improves the further along in the game you get. Levelling actions (in the first game at least) makes you hit more when you time button presses. It can be fast and hectic if you really master the battle system.
