The savory snack is called Sa-koo Pak mor. The ball shaped made with boiled tapioca pearl stuffed with mixed pork/peanut seasoning. The purple one made with steamed rice flour skin (stuffed with the same filling)
Greetings again. 🎉😀 So happy that i and my mom meet Caroline and Antony in person at One bangkok! You’re really awesome!! Hope you have a wonderful time in Thailand. Thanks for making the good content 🙏
Thank you so much!! It was very nice meeting you and your mom! It was so sweet of you guys to give us isan sausage too!! 🩵😋 Thank you and hope you have a great week! 🫶🏻🫰🏻
Glad you guys went to this market. It's one of my favorite place I usually go there every other week. more tasting many yummy food for your next visit I would recommend braised beef noodles "neur tun nang lerung "(เนื้อตุ๋นนางเลิ้ง) homemade made egg noodles with bbq pork "roong ruen noodle" (บะหมี่รุ่งเรือง) also the dessert vender next to the one you stopped is the best "steamed coconut milk" (ขนมถ้วย) Hope to see you guys in this market some time.😊
Such an amazing market! I would too if we lived close by. I’m so jealous! 😅 That boat noodle was absolutely amazing. Can’t get it out of my mind 😃. We will definitely have to go back one of these days 😁
@ChovyTravel you made me mouthwatering for boat noodles I will try next time for sure👌 BTW there is a nice and good vibes cafe within this market named "Unknown Caffe's Haus" the coffee is really good and the owner is so nice and amazing.
Name of this place is " Nanglearng market" . Thai called " Talad Nanglearng" and what The seller of boat noodle told you was there were 2 Chinese persons learnt how to cook boat noodle with him.
OMG! I lived in this area until I was 5 years old. The boat noodle guy told you that the couple in his phone was from China and came to learn boat noodles from him.
Oh really!? Must’ve been a nostalgic experience watching this video 😃 Thank you so much for that! I do remember hearing China but that’s about it 😅 Wow! Very Smart! I would want to learn from them too 😃
Congrats, guys! You found another hidden gem in Bangkok❤ That's one of the oldest markets in the city. During hot season, I would recommend Kao Chea (rice in cold jasmine water served with various side dishes), a rare royal Thai cuisine which you can find in this place. And, I agree with you abot Michelin stars. Some of those places can be over-hyped and over-priced. Local stalls like these are actually the best😊 Keep up the great work!
I know, right!? Major Hidden Gem! Oh really!? Interesting! Thank you for the recommendation! 🥰🫰❤️🙏 Will have to look into that! Exactly! Love these local spots! Will do, thank you! 😁
Hi legends! Love your content! the curry rice stall is called Khao Kaeng Ruttana ร้านข้าวแกงรัตนา ตลาดนางเลิ้ง and it's one of the oldest curry rice stalls in Bangkok
Talat Nang Loeng is the first land market in Thailand, 100 years old. Founded by King Rama V in 1900 AD. Normally, since ancient times, Thai (Siamese) markets are usually floating markets. Because the main transportation is by boat. Therefore, the important intersections are the piers and piers of important temples. Talat Nang Loeng has ancient Thai food and royal cuisine, many of which are hard to find for you to try.😊
For Nang Loeng Market, if you miss this shop, you are missing out. Sai Krog Pla Nam or Sausage, shredded fish mixed with slices of pork skin (I think the English word would describe it). This is a very rare food and is an ancient Thai food. It is very famous here.😊
The Nang Loeng community is a place called the traditional Thai performing arts community. It is still preserved today. There are teachings on various branches of ancient Thai performing arts.
นี่คือสิ่งที่ฉันพูดถึง Sai Krog Pla Nam or Sausage, shredded fish mixed with slices of pork skin. ร้านที่คุณยายป้อนให้ชายคนนี้กินคือร้านที่ฉันบอก.............ua-cam.com/video/OWXQZwg9mAc/v-deo.htmlsi=1daMB1YYJbF_uZxd
The boat noodles you eat are Ayutthaya style. The original boat noodles are Ayutthaya style. For Thai people, we know that it is the best boat noodles. But that's it. There are many restaurants in Bangkok that claim to be Ayutthaya boat noodles. For me, I have to go to Ayutthaya for sure.😂😂
So glad to see you guys feeling welcome everywhere and get to learn the language and culture. Your Thai is getting better every day!! I would suggest doing some collaborations with local foodies to gain more audiences and subscribers 😊😊.
Thank you! 🥰 Custard apple is really delicious. It was rather sweet and maybe a bit too much ripened. First time having it and it was great! Next time, we will be sure to ask for more ice. Thank you for the tip! That definitely helps 😁
Really!? So happy to hear we’re able to show you a place you haven’t been to. It’s such an amazing market and hope you enjoy it as much as we did 🥰 Absolutely our pleasure! 😃
I love this kind of local food court than the malls food court. They cook more authentic (less sweet), more tasty, cheaper, and always give me bigger portions 😂 Ps. You are right, probably that minced pork bun was bad. 😢 you should've let the vendor know. Ps. Central chidlom is done with renovation, maybe you want to check it out.
I know, right!? Couldn’t agree with you more! 🥰 I think so too 😅. It happens, definitely inevitable. Oh really!? Thank you so much for the heads up! 🥰❤️🫰🙏
You can take BTS to Ratchathewi and take a bus (4-42) or Bolt/Grab to the market. We took Bolt and took us about 35 minutes. We also have Google Maps link 🔗 in the description for all the videos so check it out 💕
do you guys think Boat Noodles would be more popular than Pho back in the US? I believe boat noodles have blood so it may turn off alot of Americans but I actually think Americans would prefer the taste of boat noodles over pho though.
OoO that’s a tough one 🤔 We’re both huge fans of Pho. However, this particular Boat Noodle was just mind blowing. The balance of flavor was just perfect without any bloody taste/scent. Definitely not overbearing whatsoever! If I had to choose, boat noodle has a bit of an edge over pho but only at this location/market 🥰 I really think it would be down to preference but Americans might be a bit more scared of the boat noodle because of knowing there is blood inside the broth.
Or you can join the Bangkok yuppy set and pay 300 baht for a bowl of boat noodle at Thongsmith if you don't want to rub shoulders with ordinary people.

Fruit is call custard apple. You eat with a spoon, scooping it out but has to be ripe but not to ripe.❤

I see boat noodle, I click. 😜
Lol 😂
I think you should make Chovy stars stickers and give them to the restaurants you rate 10/10.
You’re a genius! 😁 We did think about it but we never thought someone would actually say it! 🤣
What the owner of the Boat Noodle shop told was two people on the camera were Chinese and came to study how to make noodles with him.
Oohhh I see! I see why they came to learn!! 👍👍
Must be good. Will have to check it out.
Caroline, those are my favorite curries too. 🍛😅. Awesome market for foodies, for sure.
Let’s go together next time and enjoy the yummy curries! 😋
@@ChovyTravel That sounds like fun!
🙌🙌
Thank you very much for appreciating Thai food. I would like to recommend delicious food at "The old siam plaza".
Our pleasure! We love Thai Food! 🥰
We do like Old Siam! 😁
Go to the Train Market in Srinakarin!
It’s on our list! Hopefully we can visit soon 😁
Thank you! 🥰 Custard apple is really delicious. It was rather sweet and maybe a bit too much ripened. First time having it and it was great!

Sa Ku Sai Moo Tapioga with sweet pork filling and steam
You were right about the Michelin star. I don't find it reliable to my personal taste.
I think Michelin star are very 50/50. It can be great or it can be just average. Sounds to me we have pretty similar tastebuds 😁🥰
This market is near where I live.
Nice!! We really like this market! 👍
Hi there 😊, how do we travel to this market?
You can take BTS to Ratchathewi and take a bus (4-42) or Bolt/Grab to the market. We took Bolt and took us about 35 minutes. We also have Google Maps link 🔗 in the description for all the videos so check it out 💕

ข้าวเกรียบปากหม้อ ต้องกินคู่กับพริกขี้หนูและผักจะยิ่งอร่อยครับ
Yes! It definitely tasted better with the chilies 🌶️👍
The 2 people are from China, learning how to cook it.
We see why!! It was so yummy!!
Call the one you eat sakusaimoo
Icic! Thank you for letting us know. 🥰❤️🫰🙏
Or you can join the Bangkok yuppy set and pay 300 baht for a bowl of boat noodle at Thongsmith if you don't want to rub shoulders with ordinary people.
We actually LOVED boat noodle here. We had Thong Smith before but we like here 10x more lol 😆 BEST BOAT NOODLE we’ve ever had!
Thai tastes and Michellin tastes are not the same, I think. Farangs can]not easily learn the true tastes of locals. Good may be the same but the essence of exellence is not so easy.
