That freestyle rap was off the scale, clever. Not only did you have to know about picasso, cartography and birds but to rhyme the whole time. Honestly amazed...

@@ketilbarstein7770 he's saying underated, as in his content doesn't get enough recognition. The comment was made a year ago. His content has recently blown up due to one of his videos going viral. So now he's getting the attention and I imagine the original poster's opinion/comment is no longer relevant.

Not only does he rhyme weird words together but he packs-full his bars with puns and witty references.
Chris Turner is very talented improvization.

Amazing! Often UK comics find it hard to translate their material for American audiences but you did it brilliantly and also managed to misdirect UK viewers for your "tic-tac-toe" punchline :D I love that one! (I'm English).

one thing ive.noticed about rappers and freestylers are
Number one they're word Smith's. they're fascinated. with language. They read dictionaries Thesairus rhyming dictionaries All of this becomes fuel.that they can draw from like talking items out of a packed closet
They're curious about the world or at least their own environment. Politically socially domestically they are aware of what's happening in the world globally and regionally.
they're opinionated. ultimately whatever they rap about fakes some type of position whether conventional or unconventional
they're social commentators verbal editorialists
They study beat flow and rhythm.
they're CONFIFENT public speaking ranks as a number one fear and that when you have a totally prepared script you've memorized. Can you imagine the guts you have to have freestyling words phrases and rhymes you've NEVER spoken up till that point?

Hi Chris. Loved the MS Society joke. What was the bit at 6:05 about controlling Australia? I didn't get it. That rap was pretty good by the way. Blown away by the speed you can think. This seems superhuman to me.

Not really though... All you need to know to get that joke is nein (9) in german means "no". It's fairly common knowledge and if someone did know that over someone who didn't it's not like their education would make the difference, it would be their cultural experience and mostly down to luck more than anything.

just switched from a 2013 to 2018 routine. first jokes the same, but refined. that's the reality of successful comedians. "with you i'm on cloud nine.. which is German for Clear Skies" I'm using that.

im native german speaking, and the "cloud nine" joke took a while to unfold. guess it works better if "ja" and "nein" are pretty much the only words one knows of that language. i just was like, wtf. cloud isnt german at all... wait a minute...

The beat poet style suits him better imo - less jarring than his rap (which lyrically is still way better than most of the competition) Great talent.

Preferred his gags dry but that rap was insane, if he was truly making that up on the spot that is brilliant knowledge, wit and intelligence firing at hyper speed.
It would be weird to go from solemn dry humour to upbeat hype improve rapping in the span of 10 minutes though. That's prob why he changed it.
