I use this gimbal already 7 Month and didn't know about a lot of these features. Including the bluetooth record button! That makes life so much easier! Thanks a lot! Subscribed now!
Great tutorial! Can you map the trigger button to start recording. I have big hands and it's awkward to easily hit the record button on the handle while I'm recording, resulting often in unwanted shakes. I end up letting go with one hand and turning off recording.
Thanks! Not that I'm aware of, I think you have to start/stop recording with the record button. The trigger actually does a lot of things with centering the gimbal, so that might cause more problems than it solves unfortunately
I just got this thing and set it up on a rig for shooting car to car. I'm having a major issue, though; the connection between the gimbal and my phone keeps disconnecting (I use the DJI Ronin app to connect a Playstation controller for controlling the gimbal's movement). Anyone know of a way to get a solid connection? Would a Raveneye help? Can I somehow wire it? Thanks in advance!
Try turning down the pan motor sensitivity, if it's too shakey, then it's probably too fast. If I'm doing an orbit, my sensitivity is preeeettttty low. Not sure the settings off hand, not by my gimbal right now
You can! I've flown with this gimbal to Austin, New York, and Paris (although I lugged this thing to France and went handheld the entire time I was there 😂). I always break it down and take the gimbal arms off of the battery grip, and then unscrew the tripod base so it looks less like a weapon, and haven't had any problems. No one has ever asked me what it is before when going through security
@@petrub27 Yeah, the detachable battery and lack of automated locks are what kept me from the RS3 mini. The RS3 pro can break down small enough for what I need, but can also handle the capacity of larger setups
Hey I am hoping you can help me. I have the RS3 Pro. I use it with a Sony A7SIII, but it seems like when I walk forward, even a ninja walk, the gimbal sways left to right. Do you know what am I doing wrong?
How to get it to lock in place. As the filmmakers say "chicken head". Double tap trigger does not work & custom all axis off does not work...am I missing something?
Holding down the front trigger locks the gimbal in place - is that what you mean? Holding down the front trigger, then tapping the screen allows you to "lock" the lock so you don't have to hold down the front trigger
@@keith-knittel I have tried that it keeps rotating around in a circle slowly. It doesnt respond with me holding down the trigger. It does re center when I double tap but then starts rotating counter clockwise again
@@DCreativeMedia You're probably in FPV mode? If you're in PT or PTF, it should lock off from drifting at all. If it's still drifting in PT or PTF, I'd reach out to DJI support
That is a smallrig plate that I use with the Ring grip - you have to power the plate, then you can use the D-tap to power your camera. The gimbal does not power the plate unfortunately. I'd love if it could though!
How do you like using the DJI RS3 Pro? Here are some more DJI RS2/RS3 Pro Videos: ua-cam.com/play/PLunYsAsRQcj15KbaQ-XkY9xSsiKUtOyZa.html

Glad to help! The Bluetooth record button is a great quality of life upgrade! Thanks for the support 🙌
Amazing video man! I learned a few new things about the gimbal
Hi, can I customize the "M" button? I would like to use it to switch between autofocus and manual focus. 😢
This was clutch. I appreciate it!
Glad it helped!
great tutorial. I have a Sony A6600 camera. How to enable preview on the gimbal monitor?
Right on time! I just ordered a used RS3 off eBay. Fingers crossed 🤞🏾 😂
Great timing - congrats on the "new" gimbal!
How do you enable M button C1/Fn1 Button Mapping on Sony camera? Did you try that one?
Great tips. Just got this gimbal
Is it possible to use the RS3 Pro with the top handle for the FX3?
Raveneye does NOT work with the EOS R6 Mkii. Canon fumbled it by making the camera unable to record on board when using HDMI out

I’ve gone from only gimbal, to anti gimbal, to gimbal when needed , and the RS3 is the 🐐🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Same! It's not for every shoot, but clutch when you need one

Great Video
Thanks Martin!
Thank you for video!!!
Thank you !
You're welcome!
I calibrated my rs3 but i still get vibration, any advice ?
Make sure youre properly balancing the gimbal, not over loading the motors and mostly practice your smooth movements.
My orbits SUCK. like the camera always swings around and puts the subject off center. I ninja walk, its on pf. What can I do?

But can you take the gimbal with you in the carry on when flying?

@@keith-knittel cool. The problem is the rs3mini has an undetachable battery and kind of sharp edges

Have you heard of pan and tilt issues with a rs3 pro? Mines has been acting up and sent it in twice

I want the tilta wheel for the RS 3 Pro but damn $800.. woooo..
WAIT how the fuck does your gimbal have d-tap and shit right below the plate???
