Team Cherry should make an NPC of Monstahler in Silk Song. Maybe calle him Stahler and have him always speeding ahead of you.
Ryan Emery he shows up at the final boss before you do but uses a risky strat and dies
if you catch him, he could drop a charm called the staller, which slows enemies down once you beat them. The fight could be like the pale lurker
@@Spearmight no but good suggestion, i like it but tbh i have a better idea, he just moves rapidly above you like a dash that goes to the opposite side, then when you stop moving he goes behind you and tries to stab you, you have 1 second to turn around and slap him, otherwise you get hit and lose 3 mask shards. yes 3, why? just because that makes sense
@@-theunknownuser9737If 3 masks then it has to be a late game npc and it has to be optional for balancing reasons. Not only that but the reward / charm has to be better, if not then there needs to be a nerf, boss speeds aren't that bad, the only place where I think someone would use it is the grimm bossfight. So overall much nerfs are needed and the prize needs to be greater for it to stay like how it is now.

gotta tell you that I used to play in visual boy advance using the keyboard, then the time passed and I started using a controller, but watching your videos gave me this sense of nostalgia and now I'm playing hollow knight again with keyboard, doesn't sound like something important but doing so made me feel like a kid again.

Minor glitches happen when you have been playing for long
iir he dashes at the door at the perfect time so the game thinks he is wall climbing onto it. Idk where the momentum comes from

My friend took more than 60 hours to defeat 2 dreamers, 2 trials and is stuck on the traitor lord. This guy managed to do all that and more in less than 3 hours.

First monstahler video. Skipped ahead to around 2:15:00 and was like damn this dude is missing getting hit by pixels. Figured even in a near 3 hour run you gotta take risks to save frames. Then I realized he was in the middle of the flower quest and my jaw dropped. Good lord this dude is so sick.

Poor elder bug sounds so sad when you just walk past...as cool as speed runs are it’s always a tad sad to not play this enjoying its atmosphere and characters, they are some of the absolutely best parts

@Random weeb Oh fuck, he was? I didn't actually watch it (mainly due to the fact that it's TWO HOURS LONG) but that surprises me since speedruns are typically done in normal mode, since Shade Skips can be done.

It's pretty easy to downpatch using the steam console, there's a guide on Hollow Knight's speedrun.com page.
In this case I play on an older patch because this category can only be played on patches before the grimm troupe dlc.
In most cases we downpatch to patches where more glitches / speedrun tech is available.

There's an automatic option to split segments in the timer we're using.

I have a question:Why is the without load time used? In most games, it's the real time that's used, even when the loading takes half of the run(super metroid 100%!). Who decided this and why?
Hollow knight's loads are dependent on how good your pc is, so we use loadless time to have a fair comparison between all runners

96% in 24 hours is very decent if its your first time playing. My first save five is on 76% and 108 hours

usarla como guia para sacar el logro de pasar el juego al 100% en menos de 20 horas es un asco, te sirve pero hace cosas tan raras que te trabas y mueres mucho intentando copiarlo ;-;
En mi propia experiencia lo mejor es pasar el juego lo mas pronto posible y luego enfocarte en cualquier otra cosa, luego que complete la meta de 5 horas o menos busque por internet la ubicacion de todas las cosas rapida y fui de sector en sector.
No sera la manera mas practica pero si es la mas comoda.
Postdata: Mejora lo mas rapido que puedas el Nail, puedes maximizarla hasta el penultimo upgrade y luego hacer varias cosas con facilidad.
Pdd: Quita la musica en Deepnest y ponte a escuchar Juan Luis Guerra, la ironia musical te calmara.
