Great video. Dropping 3 bags of Carbon Pro G in between the rain here in Upstate SC early next week. Miss my T100 seeing yours...I love my Tundra of course but that T100 was bulletproof outside of the factory recall on the head gasket...sold it with 300K miles on it back in 2009 and saw the guy a couple years ago. He said it was at 550K now and still running.
Can you believe I only have about 170k on it? Purrs like a kitten. I pulled the engine out back in January and replaced all the seals. 🌞 Thanks for watching!
I use this too I have the Anderson’s spreader I notice that it does clump up in the spreader too, so I have to give it a good shake to get it going again
🌞I think I hurt my shoulders shaking it so many times. 😂 I have a new agitator for my spreader I may have to try next time to see if that helps. Thanks for watching!
Ive used carbon pro g a few times now. Ive tried spreading it all out on cardboard to let it dry in the sun for a while. You get a more consistent flow and no more "coning"
Looks like you have the old formula. People complained so much about how hard the the original Carbon Pro G was to spread (it was moist like soil) so they created a new prill version that spreads easier (like fertilizer). I was able to exchange my original bags for the new ones.
Yes, mine was somewhat moist. It was almost like the CarbonizPN. Is there an identifier on the bag that indicates it's the new one? Thank you for sharing!
@@SunnyBermuda I didn’t notice anything new on the bag, I heard someone mention it so I went back to SiteOne and asked them and they confirmed it and swapped my bags.
🌧Still sprinkling now. Overall, got a good steady rain. Wind was rough. I did check on the CarbonPro-G yesterday evening and the compost in it must’ve gave it sticking power because it’s all fine, thankfully. ☀️ You used Humichar, right? That stuff dissolves when it gets wet so it shouldn’t wash.👍Thanks for watching!
Your carbon pro g bag seemed like it was moist. The bags I used was dry. I used a regular Scott's spreader with no problem. Now I'm wandering if I had old bags. Is the product supposed to be moist or dry?
Yes, it was moist. All the bags I have seem moist. I got from their warehouse and stored in my garage and the bags were not punctured. I know last year when I used the CarbonizPN it was moist, too. I need to follow up on this with Mirimichi. Thanks for watching! 👍
@@SunnyBermuda Thanks for the reply. I watched Ron Henry video and asked him. He told me it is supposed to be dry. He is the one that turned me on to this product.
Yes, looks similar but has a different composition. Humichar ($84.99) has more humic acid where CarbonPro-G ($24.99) has more compost, which could explain the difference in cost.
Great vid! So I’m kinda torn right now. Debating on using Humichar or just going with Humic 12 and RGS from the NEX-T line. Would I be good with either or products or one over the other? 🤔
🌞If you can, I'd do both. I like to mix things up and rotate products. Humichar and NEX-T are two different products, though both share Humic Acid. Try Humichar application one month and then use NEX-T the next month and rotate. Remember, one bag of Humichar will cover 1 acre. Last year one 50 lb bag of Humichar lasted me 5 months because I put down 10 lbs on my front lawn per month. I used CarbonPro-G in this video because it has 47% compost for organic matter and 47% biochar. Thank you for watching!! 😎👍⛳
@@SunnyBermuda Gotcha, That L’s a great idea to use both! So for the humichar did you put down a total of 10 lbs on your front yard or 10 lbs per 1000 sq ft?
I went back and looked and Humichar is a 40 lb bag. I followed the Medium rate at 2lb/1k on 4K of lawn so that gives you 8 lbs each application. So that 40 lb lasted 5 applications.
@@SandstormGT My spreader came with a large bar type agitator that should work better. I'm about due for another app of CarbonPro-G so I'll shoot a video of the new agitator.
Bermuda Grass Central sent me here!
☀️Yes! Welcome to my channel and thanks, BYD!!
BYD from Bermuda Grass Central sent me here too. I like that BYD will mention other lawn care guys that helped him. Love your content as well!
Thank you for joining my channel. Yes, BYD is the best! He keeps it real. 👍
Enjoyed this series. That's a lot of work for 4k sq ft. People don't realize how much work goes into a nice lawn. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!! Hard work pays off, huh? 😎⛳
Sir you are going to have an awesome lawn this year because you have put in the work!
☀️Thank you, that is very kind. Hope we get plenty of rain this year to keep it green. 😎👍
That’s my prayer as well.
Great lunch break material this week. Thanks bud. Nice series!
🌞Thank you!! Nothing like peanut butter and jelly and a few lawn videos for lunch. 😎
It’s the Ron Henry special!
Still yet to try, will do this season:)
🌞Yeah, looks like pretty good stuff. A little difficult to spread, but we'll see how it goes. Give it a shot, it's only $24.99 a bag.
Where did you buy
@@larryclausen8907 _ Purchased at my local SiteOne Landscape Supply store. You can get them online at siteone.com, too.
Thanks !!!
Great video as always. Hopefully y'all were safe from the storms that passed through
Thank you! It was close, tornadoes were just a few miles north of us. We got plenty of rain. 👍
Also here from BYD. LOVE the content
☀️Awesome!! Thank you! 👍😎
I may run Carbon Pro G this season. All about improving the soil. Good video
Yes, gotta have good soil first! 👍Thank you for watching!
Nice work sir!

Good job. Product looks nice, I love that it has mycorrhizae in it 👍🏻

I'm guessing that's an easier way to do a light topdress.
Yeah, pretty much. I plan to try mason sand in my big spreader to see how that throws out. Thanks for watching! 😎
How'd your fair with the rain/storms from yesterday? I'm betting some of my product washed down the front yard.....

How do you like that spreader?
Oh, I love the spreader. Had it for 4 years now and no issues. I've got a review video on it.
New sub Great Video
Thank you!! 👍
Did you like the Humichar? Im debating between Humic DG and Carbon Pro G.
Yes, I like both. The CarbonPro-G didn’t spread as well. I think because of the compost content and it appeared a little damp.
