I live about 45 minutes from their facility in Clinton, NC. Hog waste is a huge problem in eastern NC. I am glad to hear they are helping put some it to good use.
I rarely if ever complain about paying more for quality products. I have no problem paying for any Mirimichi product now because of the process and the technology and sustainability behind what they stand for. I geeked out when he started talking about the charged carbon 😃
Agreed Andrew. Given that you're making an investment in quality soil, I think it's worth every penny. Their sustainable approach to their products makes it that much better. Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.
Thanks for proving this insight, Ron, very interesting. I was surprised they did not use food scrap material. Just watched a video where 120 hogs were composted in 20 days. They used a tractor pulled rotator. The one here is a beast. Appropriate to scale of production no doubt.
Hey Big Ron, I see you left the friendly confines of Casa Da Ron's and took us on an Amazing Field Trip to Miramichi Green.... Nice Pivot and change of pace. You are Definitely that Dude... Trufs Up, Fert Down, StripeAction Forever
I don’t know if you drove or flew up but thanks for taking the time and effort to go up there and bring this content! I have a much better understanding of what goes into each of the Mirimichi bags, t’s like the Discovery Channel for lawn care! Thanks!
Hello Ron, Thanks for taking the time to do this field trip to North Carolina, I love these kinds of videos! This information is very informative and it's great to see what goes into these fine products.
Some nice equipment there. Love those windrows, nice and neat. I do need to try and run some of the carbon products this season. Great topic and video.
In 2019 after using Leafgro on my TTF started out with Mirimichi Green PN then switched to Pro G which spread easier. Great product and it works wonders for the soil. Just tried in March an experiment for super results. I mixed together Pro G, additional mycorrhizae, Worm Gold plus earthworm casting, Azomite. My lawn has never looked better. Going to do a second round this week.
You can apply it as long as the ground isn’t frozen. For more tips on what you can be doing now, check this out: Dominate the Lawn Game next season starting NOW ua-cam.com/video/-n_PngpOe6o/v-deo.html
Awesome stuff Ron. Thanks for doing this video. I was on the fence about bio char and Carbon Pro G shenanigans. Sounded too fancy and ridiculously extravagant. Not any more! I MUST have product turned by that incredible blue windrow mixing machine. MIRIMICHI superfan created. Thanks again!
Hi Justin. We're both wearing lav mics and the audio is being recorded externally and synced in post. No boom mic for this one. Thanks for the kind words. I try my best to get the audio right.
Great job Ron. You do a great job and my yard looks amazing because of your information. Carbon Pro G is awesome. I put it down in May, June and July. It great for mr Midwest lawn and heat. Again thank you!
Great vid Ron , interesting to see MmG's facility and everything they do there. I have had good luck with and like very much the Mirimichi Green products I have tried so far and hope to try even more of them. I literally just spread some CarbonPro-G the other day right before some rain ; later last season and so far early this season (still very early i know) was hard to find at SiteOnes in my area. Luckily I found a limited supply at one store not too far from me. Nutri-Kelp is great stuff as well - hope to soon try out some other Mirimichi Green products I have yet to use yet.
Ron great video man!! Love these type videos. So interesting! I love it because I swear by carbon pro G. I put that stuff in everything. Even add it in my cereal. 😆👍👍👍
@@RonHenry thank you! Don’t have access to a compost spreader machine and trying to figure to a faster way to lay a top soil/leveling to my yard than by hand
I'll ask Ernest. They didn't mention cow manure and I didn't see any while onsite. Essential-G is primarily online Ernest. Bigger orders can be delivered on a pallet. Just depends on how much you need. Appreciate you watching.
Thanks for sharing Ron, very informative! This year, I started incorporating Carbonizpn and CarbonPro-G in my athletic field maintenance program with great results. Carbon based products are the way to go
What are your thoughts on full synthetic vs full organic. I never had any judgement towards anyone for using organic lawn care but a company known as sunday honestly really hurt my feelings with how they portrayed synthetic lawn care. I really enjoy my job and am very passionate in giving every customer a thick healthy weed free lawn and heavily rely on channels like yours to offer additional advice. Thanks
Hi Brice. I think a blended approach makes sense. When it comes to synthetic fertilizers, there are synthetics and then there are synthetics. You can't compare the big box store fertilizers to what you get from a company like LebanonTurf. The higher end products are cleaner, contain less salt and often incorporate an organic component (humic acid). From a cost standpoint, 100% organic tends to be more expensive per 1000 square foot covered than a synthetic or blended program. I wouldn't take Sunday's messaging to heart. When applied properly, synthetic products (fertilizer and herbicide) don't pose a risk to kids and pets. Great marketing but a bit disingenuous. Products that pose health issues typically aren't labeled for use on residential lawns. Hope this helps.
BTW did u get to bring home one of those huge sacks? Man I would love to have one and top dress my entire yard! Bet the price on that bugger is too rich for my blood. What is the price and where do you purchase? Site one? Thanks Ron!
You can Louis but I'd give it a couple more weeks or right before you plan to apply your granular fertilizer. The lawn will recover faster if you wait for it to be more filled in.

My pleasure Clayton! Thanks for watching.
Appreciate that insight on the different products and how they are deep down in side the same, just different delivery form.
There are different additives, (humate and reclaimed coffee grounds) in Essential-G for example. The base for the granular versions is CarbonizPN.
Great video Ron. Makes me want to take a good look at mirimichi to help build my sandy soils
It's a great option Stegs.
