That size allows me to keep my keyboard/game pad on the mouse pad while I play. I have my left arm straight forward when playing, so the keybaord or game pad (Azeron) are quite a lot the left, and it makes them move less than if they were on the table. But 55cm deep is a bit much, 35 would be perfect for me.
I have a razer goliathus and it is the biggest mousepad I ever had, I use to play FPS game and given my sensitivity in game and my dpi it was more than enough but then I realized that using lower sensitivity improved a lot my aim but now I face the edges of my mousepad very often and sometimes small details like those are the difference between winning and losing a very close match, I was just thinking that 900 mm width is good but 400mm height is not, 1200x550 seems to be what I need
so when are they releasing the 69XL wall dampeners?

For the price tag no stitched edges are a real disappointment in my eyes.

Hey mate, loved this review. I am very interested in buying the XXL Gigantus. I currently use a very small flimsy razer cloth mousepad which seems like 1-2mm thickness. My 2 questions are, will the 4mm thickness feel different & Does the mouse squish into the foam?? I play FPS games too and worried that the 4mm thickness will affect my aim.

i have 2 weeks with that mouse pad and i have a big problem, when i use for play video gamer the mousepad wont stay in table, it stays glued to my hand when i shoot up and the top fabric peeled off the foam green

How come every mousepad has to be either black or some dumb artwork? Why can't I find a nice dark gray mousepad? Its the middle ground, both white or black mousepads discolor fast.

Hear me out i have both if i were you i would buy the glorious since it is very good and has been in a good condition for 1 1/2 year now, it is really soft and your mouse feet wont get ruined as much do to the material used.But if you want one that will last a bit if you used it a lot then its the razer.If i were you go with the glorious it wont disappoint

No stitched edges expect it to start separating from rubber base quickly.

Been using the Steelseries QCK heavy for over 5 years. Mine one and only that I have ever bought is still going. No fraying on the edges and it cleans really nicely. I have no reason to change mats, but these mats looks really nice.
Well if you ever thought to yourself I like the qck but I wish it had just a little more control/ it had a better balance between speed & control. Then I would go for the Gigantus ED, I do not know how much this new v2 version is the same or differ from the first gigantus version, but my guess would be it is the same or better. I used the qck for 3-4 years, and I loved it, until the day I got the Gigantus :D I never looked back since.
