My hand is medium sized and I'm just flustered with all the available options, the basilisk V2 is sold for around $60 here and the V3 isn't available yet, would you recommend it ?
@@blinky1802
Well I've already bought it and it's definitely a great mouse overall but sadly for some reason a little bit smaller mouse would've been better for me, I won't be able to return it as the store I bought it from only accepts returns for defective items so I gotta get used to it lol
I've owned the basilisk for a couple of years now and I got to admit. It is really comfortable and a good mouse for people who want a mouse with a comfortable shape, but I don't think it's good for people who really want to perform at higher levels. It's just not really good for fast paced games. I'd still recommend people to try it though.

because a good mouse i good on anything, i used to game on a 15 (now) year old windows xp pc, then i went to a ex-server with a 650, then my nans pc which i bought a 750ti, now im on a dell insperion, and this somehow manages to play rainbow six siege at 60fps (low and 50% res scale but meh) and as of tomorrow get myself a dell g7 (yes im a dell fanboy, fight me), the point is throughout all of that i had a good mouse, (ive had 3, the MadCatz Rat 3 , Razer DeathAdder Eliete, and now the ADX Firepower A04,) and good mouse leads to good control, same with a keyboard, sure is a cheap logitech useable? sure, but spend even £20 and you can get a decent mechanical one (forgoing RGB), i always say that more knowladge is better, and it never hurts to learn, the point of this is, even if you buy a good mouse now, in this time where tech rules, it never hurts to have a good one at your side :)
I've been using the Redragon M908 for over a year now since my G600 stopped working properly, and I've had no issues with the M908 at all. Once I had the buttons set up, I would say it's equal or perhaps better for me than the G600 ever was. And getting a new G600 in my country is difficult, and they cost twice as much as the M908.

Recently replaced my first gen G502 that I got for $44 with the G502 Hero I got for $40 in October, and I use the G305 that I got for $25 with my laptop, for which it's very well suited. These products last me for years, and have been bought at great prices so I highly recommend them.

I’ve had the G403 Wireless for about 4 years now... wow that’s a long time. The mouse is one of the best I have used to date. Spends probably over £400-£500 on different mouses on the market but the G403 has never let me down.
Is the rubber on the left side wearing off for you?
also have the 403 wireless, it's just so nice. Also thanks to the included "docking cable" i use it wired for my main PC and wireless when i plug in my work laptop. The only thing that would improve it would be the "hyperscrolling" function from the M705, something i didn't know was just so great until i no longer had it
I thought the G703 was the wireless version of the G403? Or is there one called the g403 wireless?
Yup, with you on this one. I'm a corsair fanboy, but after buying this mouse I'm not willing to get a corsair one just to fit in with my other components/peripherals. I do miss scroll wheels with gyros though. Was good for dashing to the bottom of a long document or for amusingly fast weapon switching animations while waiting for a match of something to start.
@@JS-ob2xt G703 and G403 both have wired and wireless versions. The only difference between them is that the G703 has wireless *charging* but the G403 doesn't They both have wireless connectivity options though.

One thing I want to say about the G600: there’s a known issue with Final Fantasy XIV and the G-shift button (the ring finger button) locking in game with use. This has lead to…quite a few wipes from personal experience, however I 100% recommend this mouse.

I'm using the Basilisk V2. It took some time for me to get used to it, but I love it. The buttons are all easy enough to hit, and you never accidentally hit one you don't intend, except maybe the scroll wheel click, because the scroll wheel has 3 buttons on it, but the side push buttons on the scroll wheel are magnificent. Makes a lot more sense to me than having 20 buttons on the side of a mouse, but then again, I'm not an MMO player. I'm disappointed the RGB doesn't have the wave preset, but you can go into the chroma studio and make your own.

I do all my gaming with the red dragon m908 impact and I have no issues with it tracking or response time. Mainly fps games. It fits the average hand super nice with the thumb rest and a rest for the ring and Pinky finger. It is actually true lol. I was planning to get a tab s6 with a mouse.
Did i ask?
@@lydiabogomolnaya8227 Did I ask you to ask if you ask?
Nah man, go to your windows settings, go to Ease of Access, go to Keyboard Settings, toggle on MouseKeys.
Legit I used for a long time when I had no physical mouse, how you maneuver your keyboard with no mouse is by using Tab and Shift-Tab Tab goes forward, Shift-Tab goes backwards, in terms of what would normally be clickable things, this works well in browser Hide-and-Seek games because a yellow box will highlight where thing that you can click on are located.
To "click" without MouseKeys and without a physical mouse, use Enter.
Once you turned on MouseKeys you can turn it off with Alt+Shift+NumLock (when NumLock is on though, not when it's off)
MouseKeys is a beautiful thing of support for the disabled but also just a beautiful thing in terms of design from the OS side to the physical implementation side, I'd definitely recommend trying it out if you want to try being Ergonomic with only a regular keyboard, even if you have a mouse, being shoulder-width apart with your arms can be done using MOST full size keyboards, if you have broad shoulders I'd genuinely recommend the Corsair K95, but only the one with 18 G-Keys to the left side.

Just battery swap it, a Lithium AAA drops it down to under 85g and it still lasts over a month under pretty heavy gaming use.
@@rdmz135 If you care that much about being competitive, by all means weight matters. It auto racing, weight makes such a difference to performance that it's heavily regulated. But as to whether consumers should care about absolute lightest weight in mice, it's like asking what kind of driver should buy an Ariel Atom. If you care in anyway about durability, longevity, and daily usage, you're probably better off with a heavier mouse that doesn't have holes all over it for dirt and spilled drinks to pour straight into the internals, the same way you'd probably want a car with a roof for daily driving. And if you care about other functionalities, obviously a mouse with more button choices and more comfortable shapes matters too, the same way that you might want a car with air conditioning, cup holders, and usable trunk space. By all means, it makes sense to go for the no-compromises lightweight mouse if you really need every edge you can get, but let's be honest, the majority of people who buy into this marketing are just making daily life harder for themselves when they don't play competitive shooters anywhere near as hard and have to use their PC for plenty of things other than gaming.
@@rdmz135 I very much respect that there are people who buy lightweight mice who really can make use of the edge it offers and are willing to live with the compromises. I'm just skeptical of the hypetrain when it got popular because I've run into a few people online who've shat on all other types of mice as if it was only due to sheer ignorance why everyone doesn't have ultra lightweight mice with Kailh microswitches and paracords.
I am SO disappointed that razer took the scroll wheel tactility adjustment and extra long dpi clutch button out of the basilisk essential, which is about $20 more expensive.
I thought it still has that clutch button but ok
@@bruhwtf2662 it does, but only the shorter paddle, not the longer one.
Linus: These are the best mice in ~$50 price range
*Glorious Model O has entered da chat*
I know this is an amazon video but honorable mention should have the Model O imo its a top tier mouse for $50
Also a O- a D and a viper mini
Yeah I'm rocking the O and in my opinion it beats all of those for FPS games
Especially Rival 3
I bought a original Razer Viper for $25 in best buy lol
Or the Endgame gear xm1
I wish logitech would make a newer model or refresh of the G600
yep, using mine for at least 10 years, every day for hours, still working perfectly, but if it ever breaks i will have to buy the same mouse again since nothing elese competes
Literally bought another one this week incase mine breaks, I can't use another mouse. You get so much extra functionality, it's like a different device category. Only problem is Logitech makes really buggy software!
Agreed. Despite Linus' opinion, this has been my go-to FPS mouse. That 3rd button mapped to an 'on the fly' low DPI (for sniping...) has been amazing lol
I love my G602. I can't use another mouse. My first one lasted 6 years and I just bought another one after trying a few others. Only mouse I could find that works with my hands.
My G600 is 6 years old. Literally no other mouse can compare with the 24 quick access buttons on the thumbpad with G-Shift. Never running out of buttons, macros or options in any game/application is always nice, and I've been dependent on them for productivity because it's so convenient. Who even needs macro buttons on keyboards anymore with this mouse?
Besides having to replace the left click switch on the G600 3 times so far (because of the double-clicking issue), the mouse works great.
Also, Linus is wrong about the G600 being heavy and not having adjustable weights. If you open it up, you can actually unscrew and take out the weights to make the mouse lighter.
I was going through mice like crazy because they just always felt off on something. I finally got the deathadder elite and it felt perfect (I don’t even have large hands) and I’ve had it over 4 years now.
I’ve had the death adder elite for a while and I absolutely love it, with the size/ ergonomics but it’s getting some wear and wanna try something new but I’m not to sure what mouse matches the standards whilst having more side buttons?
try the g502, to me, its palm grip comfort is unmatched, 3 side buttons, adjustable DPI, a scroll wheel "lock" (can press it to "unlock" the scroll wheel, basically scrolling really fast without friction, and an extra programmable button on between right and left click

Do you want to upgrade your mouse?
**Me still using my G9x**
I'm never upgrading
Same with G600, the Razer Naga is no comparison, and the Corsair Scimitar is even worse, sure sliding buttons, but .. you're going to slide those around more than the first time? .. What, do you share a mouse with like a Linus Sized Hand? Like does your little sister use the same mouse as you or something? That's the only reason to get sliding thumb buttons.. not to mention Corsair dropped the ring-finger, and iirc no longer has tilt wheel functions either.
TL;DR Logitech makes mice no one wants to upgrade from until Logitech themselves actually create a replacement for which... seems like they never will /continues to buy G600's like crazy people are buying Toilet Paper/
g9x has an shit sensor by todays standards though
@@mastistino72 i know but i still love it
I've been using a deathadder elite a friend gave me for a good while now, and it's been perfect.
It would be great to see if Abko/AbkoNcore is a good value option. I finally pulled the trigger on an A660 rgb wired mouse
Honestly, I can't recommend the G203/G102 enough. It's just such a good mouse, at a good price too.
It is my go to mouse when some one asks for advice on mice. Just measure their hands and ask them what grip they use. G203 is just so broad that it works for everyone.
I know I love my g203
I also have the G203, the best thing about is it is the right size for my tiny hands.
I have a wired g502, I got it for $50 and it's great.
A lot of Amazon India reviews stated that the G102 started having double click problem after some months of usage.

dang it, should've watched this before buying mine, but hey I got a g305, thankfully it was a pretty good bet, and tbh don't see many advantages from any of the others, hopefully the battery won't annoy me by just dying in front of me randomly after a while. I like how minimalistic and non gamer it looks, as I'm using it for work too and don't want no distractions.
Does it still work?
i was actually watching the mid range keyboard video today and was thinking about buying a new mouse and now this. thank you
tl;dr - buy the G305. Replace the switches when they inevitably fail like all Logitech mice do.
Also take a look at the g502. I've had it for a couple years now and love it.

I got it for like 30 bucks so yeah worth searching for.
I’m surprised you didn’t talk about the SteelSeries Rival 310. Granted, it’s very similar to the DeathAdder in terms of build quality, but for people like me who prefer mouse buttons that click like Logitech’s, it’s a great mouse.
Most of steelseries mouses are pretty good for the price, I've been using the sensei 310 which is the same price as fhe Rival 310 but it's ambidextrous
I have missed this one too. I am using it since last year beginning an i absolutely love it.
They seem to avoid steelseries.
what do you think about the corsair harpoon?
lovebabygirl.link/s3hi1w4ECfEg
I've liked the feel and shape of a lot of logitech mice but the corsair scimitar was the best imho, 12 buttons on the side cause I use a razer tartus v2 for some games cause I like reprogramming keys into unique and easy to use layouts where I don't have to move my hands off the WASD spot. Its a little expensive, I think I paid like 100 canadian for it but its a nice size, fits awesome, has nice subtle lighting, looks good and the icue programming (at least for mice and keyboards) works pretty good and I have profiles for like every game with unique colour schemes and key layouts. Plus it fits well with the k70 I have, brushed aluminum looks awesome.
I also have the Razer Trinity for my blade stealth for when I use the Core with my spare 1080ti and its nice to be able to have just a normal layout mouse with forward and back for the interwebs, or if I want to game I can throw the 12 button or 8 button side piece on and its like a whole new mouse! I don't like the feel as much as the scimitar though, its long and narrow where the scimitar is wider and supports the hand more.
when u come back to old linus videos and u r now used to see him in beard it feels really different. at least 2020 gave us a new better looking linus more nerdy looking

I got a G903 HERO two days ago and been loving it. It's way out of the mid-class price category with it costing 90 euros, but boy does it feel great. I tried out the HyperX Pulsefire Dart and Razer Viper Ultimate Wireless before it and I gotta say it's definitely the most comfortable out of the three. The Dart had this weird cushion material on the sides that got uncomfortably hot and made my hands clammy, and the Viper's shape didn't fit my hand well as I'm used to a palm grip. G903 hit all the right spots for me.
I have the Logitech G203, wasn't expensive and works great.
