You should do a video assessing how practical it would be to fly on each Pokémon that can learn fly. Base it on size, weight, wing span, and position of wings (where the human would sit on the Pokémon). That should be fun.
With big pokemon on the neck just above their wings. With small pokemon the trainer holds them by their legs and dont let go prematurely or that's going to be 1 hard landing
Pretty sure most pokemon don't have a realistically large enough wingspan to lift a human but this would still be an interesting concept for the calculations alone
Fun fact! You mentioned how jellyfish are mostly water. In portuguese (no idea if its the same in spanish, im from brazil) we call them água-viva, wich means literally living water
Another reason on why Toedscruel was introduced in the "Spain" region, could be because in Catalonia we actually really love mushrooms. During autumn, it's very common to see people in the forest searching for shrooms. We have entire markets dedicated to selling mushrooms and, at one point, even had an entire TV series about searching for them called "Caçadors de bolets".
I'm surprised you didn't mention the whole concept of octopus-martians. The octopus-like appearance of the martians from War of the Worlds was so influential in Japan that to this day, the stereotypical alien depiction over there is an octopus-like being. You can see it in countless Japanese media, the most prominent being the martians from Metal Slug, but also ones like the First Contact martian from Rhythm Heaven Megamix, Squirps from Super Paper Mario, etc.

When I first saw Toedscool and Toedscruel in-game my mind instantly jumped to Terasquids from “The future is wild” I even tend to forget Toedscools name and just refer to it as a “Squibbon” (one of the theoretical land living squids that evolved in the future)
That was my exact first thought when I saw the leaks. It goes even further since the Mega Squids in TFIW had a symbiotic relationship with a sentient slime mold (i.e. a fungus). Japan is a surprisingly big fan of speculative evolution works so I wouldn't be surprised if there was some inspiration going on. Just a shame nobody (including Lockstin) really picks up on it...
Would be cool to see a line of water/ grass type squids based on the main squids from future is wild( swampus, Squibbon and the Mega squid). Or make the designs a starter by making them Water/ fairy type.
17:49 Huh. That map showed the vast majority of Spain's mushrooms being from around the northern areas. Like how Toedscool and Cruel are most commonly found in that autumnal forest to the north west while Toedscool alone is very rarely found in many places across Paldea.
“ Run,run, run as fast as you can, you can’t catch a jellyfish that runs like a man” 😂 that line at the beginning got me laughing so hard for no reason 0:00
I’ve never really had strong feelings toward Tentacool before. And then this generation introduces a Pokemon that takes one of the originals I was most indifferent about and makes it one of my favorites of all time. I don’t think it’s because of recency bias when I say Toedscool is a top ten favorite design for me.
I just assumed the Grass/Ground typing was its way of saying "of the Earth." Mushrooms thrive in decaying matter. Things decay and return to the Earth. Becoming fertile soil. So it would probably be Fairy type before getting the Poison type lolol
This video perfectly encapsulates what I love about Pokémon. Inspirations from numerous real world animals/plants/rocks/objects, and sometimes various mythos from around the world, come together to form magical creatures that can (sometimes) shoot lasers out of their foreheads. Or do other cool Pokémon things. Pokémon is great.
It's very cool that the main region of paldea you find toedscruel in significant numbers lines up almost exactly with one of the areas you pointed out where mushrooms are harvested!
I think it's interesting that the convergent pokemon seem to have opposite types to their counterparts, Diglett is ground so wiglett is water, tentacool is water/poison so toedscool is grass/ground
There's a documentary on the history of fungi over on Curiosity Stream called The Kingdom, and they covered quite a bit of the material discussed in this video.
There are a lot of details that are well researched about Spain that I love it so much, thanx Logstin. But some things you have to research a bit more, like the mushrooms spreading through out Spain, they are so much many places where they are topical, and even there are like social events at the middle of autumn and hundreds of people get together to the forest to search for them. We call it "La caza del Niscalo". I hope you keep on with this amazing videos, like I said, I love them and they are amazingly prepared
The first mushroom tapa you listed is one of my favorites. It's a variation on a dish called gambas/camerones al ajillo. It's basically just shrimp (or mushrooms) sautéed in olive oil infused with enormous amounts of garlic and paprika, topped with a bit of parsley.
I have to admit that when I saw a trainer with one of these, I was like "What am the world am I looking at here?" While its design was a bit strange I can now appreciate it a lot more thanks to this video. Also, I like the new format as well. ^_^ Every time my mom and I went to Myrtle beach when I was a kid, my mom would always tell me to watch for Portuguese man o' war. As they would wash up on the beach from time to time. When I was about 12, I was getting ready to go swimming, as the hotel we got was right by the beach. My mom of course told me to stay close to the store and to keep an eye for any washed up Portuguese man o' war. And if I saw one do not get close. I told her I would, got into my flip flops and made a mad dash towards the water. Only to stop dead in my tracks when I saw at least two of them. They were both a pretty purple color and as I much as I wanted to get closer look, I didn't want to get stung. So I waited until my mom came out to join me. After pointing them out, we went further down the beach and I finally got to swim. Still keeping an eye out, just in case.
I remember when I took a cruise 'round the brazilian coast and it stoped in Argentina, the beach was FLOODED with tiny white jellyfishes, it was kinda creepy.
I will never get over Toedscool running the same way I made floppy stuffed animals run as a child. I have been pretty critical of new Pokemon ever since gen 6-7, but a lot of the animations of this generation really sold me on the designs. I hope to one day see more of the already existing Pokedex animated in such an expressive fashion.
Tentacruel being based on a colonial organism makes the mushroom connection make more sense to me. Man o wars make me think of the mycelia network described earlier. Just a *bunch* of organisms connected together to form essentially one nervous system.
While most find them annoying, I do enjoy Tentacool and Tentacruel. Water/Poison-typing is quite beneficial and I did use one for my first "Pokemon Omega Ruby" playthrough. I was certainly surprised by Toedscool and Toedscruel being created as convergent evolutions for Paldea. I love the depth you went into with explaining the two lines and tying them together. This video was certainly worth the wait. :)
13:14 this sounds like a cool idea for a parasect evolution, something like Paraception. A Grass/Dark type that is a different parasitic mushroom that in taking over parasect's original body completely it killed it's host. So now only the fungi remains.
Toadscool was the very first shiny I found in Scarlet and Violet and I could have so easily missed it because the shiny is white and I was zipping around Glaceado Mountain looking for items so it was a white shiny in the snow. But I saw a herd of Toadscool scatter as I got close and could just slightly make out a faint shape in what had been the center of the group and I just charged into it and the encounter started and the sparkles went off. Before I saw that I wasn’t totally sure I was even actually seeing anything lmfao.
I bought a corduroy bulbasaur plush, recently. Realized after that I love its orchid-esqu existence. Two things evolving to be so symbiotic they're practically the same creature now
Toedscools is officially one of my favourite gen 9 pokemon. Also, I cant imagine the amount of effort and care that goes into making a content like that of this video. Kudos to everyone working on this channel!👍
There are so many excellent moments in this video, but my absolute favorite has to be the sneaky reference to the “holding a gun to a mushroom” copypasta at 13:35
When I looked up the new Pokémon for Scarlet and Violet, my first thought was: "Jeeeeesus there's a lot of dumb ideas in this one... "Mice and then you add more mice, Tentacool but it's a mushroom, flamingo-shaped flamingo..." But then they've grown on me and I frikkin love them, and the Toeds are two of my favourite Pokémon in years.
it wasn´t only Spain that went to south america, Portugal also went where is nowadays my country Brazil edit: btw usually think Pedro Àlvares Cabral discovered in 1500 but there was one guy that went earlier than Pedro and also there was indians tribes like tupi-guarani that lived (and stills lives) and they also gave a name before Pedro wich i don´t remember easily but some indians tribes still calls Brazil by the name they gave
Toedscool & Toadscruel are also kind of similar the Fresno Nightwalkers. A cryptic that looks like walking mushrooms or living pairs of pants/trousers that are usually caught on camera at night.
One thing you didn't mention is Toedscruel seems to be specifically based on a War of the Worlds tripod, despite not having only three legs. In particular it seems to take the most inspiration from the 2005 movie version of them, with the two individual arms in an upright position since those are weapons and the prominent hood
i made a tentacool / tentacruel regional variant for my own Netherlands inspired region (with variant i mean convergent evolution, otherwise i would have said form) they are based on pendulum clocks, Dutch inventions
I kind of love how opposite tenta and toad are to each other. Even their typing have an opposites that balance each other out, grass/ground to water/poison.
Thinking about it now, could there be a similar relationship between Deku Scrubs and Octoroks from the Legend of Zelda series? They both spit rocks at you, from Q*Bert octopus like mouths. I wish Deku Scrubs were around longer than Majora's Mask in the console games... I'm hoping they return in TotK.
Hey guys, did you know that in terms of human companionship, Flareon is objectively the most huggable Pokemon? While their maximum temperature is likely too much for most, they are capable of controlling it, so they can set themselves to the perfect temperature for you. Along with that, they have a lot of fluff, making them undeniably incredibly soft to touch. But that's not all, they have a very respectable special defense stat of 110, which means that they are likely very calm and resistant to emotional damage. Because of this, if you have a bad day, you can vent to it while hugging it, and it won't mind. It can make itself even more endearing with moves like Charm and Baby Doll Eyes, ensuring that you never have a prolonged bout of depression ever again.
so about the 80 tentacle thing: it makes sense that the artworks have way less tentacles, if you think about it from an srtist perspective. Especially in cartoons, things like hair or hands often gets simplified into bigger chunks. thats why many cartoon characters often have only 4 than 5 fingers, two fingers get combined. Of course they could have drawn 80 tentacles on the pokemon, but I think that would have made the design way to busy. Also if you look from far away, a cluster of small things can look like one large thing, in this example tentacles. Another thing can be seen in animations. Imagine you have to add a animation for 80 tentacles, thats a lot. So make fewer tentacles and your job is easier (and its also way less work for the computer)
Fun jellyfish/ pelagic fact! As jelly fish and other floating sea creatures on the water's surface are exposed relentlessly to the harsh waves of UV radiation, many evolved to have blue and mostly purplish colors to resist the Ultra Violet waves- like the portuguese man o' war, purple jellyfish, purple snail, etc also, the protrusions on tentacruel are very likely based off the beak due to their position at the rear, where the mouth is connected at the base of the tentacles- the black bottom region of the pokemon. The pen/ skeleton would be where the "head" of the squid/ tentacruel and wouldn't be exposed- mainly their for light structural integrity while still allowing the squid mobility and flexibility. Other evidence is that the protrusions have an inner serration to them, much like the squids and octopuses who need it to crush and cut up their prey. So basically, tentacruel is a jellyfish siphonophore kraken hybrid, with a hint of alien flair
@@gustavju4686 More or less, the only fungus pokemon we have now are: Paras/Parasect, Shuckle, Shroomish/Breloom, Foongus/Amoongus, Morelull/Shiinotic, Toedscool/Toedscruel, so unless you repeat an unevolved with a fully evolved, Toedscool line is the added 6th to close the team.
Is it weird that the way Toedscool runs also makes me think of Ramblin Evil Mushrooms from Earthbound? Like a possible reference to their older game by Pokemon’s 3D model devs Creature Inc.

Hi, I'm here to explain the German names of these tentally cool Pokémon. Because I have nothing better to do really. So, starting with Tentacool, it's German name is Tentacha, which is really just the Word "Tentakel" (tentacle) with some creative libertys. Meanwhile, Tentacruel's named "Tentoxa". Again, from "Tentakel" but also from "toxisch" (toxic). Toedscool's name is "Tentagra", again from "Tentakel" and "agrarisch" (agrarian) which furthermore implies a connection to the ground. Lastly, the name of Toedscruel in German is "Tenterra" from "Tentakel" and "terra" the latin word for earth. What I think is interesting about these names is that in Englisch, Toedscool and Toedscruel took the second half from Tentacool and Tentacruel, while in German, they took the first halfs of their names. So, that's it, thanks for reasing this far. And if you read this, Lockstin, please make a video about German Pokémon names. That would be great, thanks.
One of the reasons I love this channel is because it teaches me cool new things I would've never even thought to have looked into, all under the guise of Pokémon yet still being relevant to Pokémon itself. Like, Mushroom "trees"? Mycelium Networks? I never would've looked that up in my spare time normally. It's like trying to give your dog medication by wrapping it in ham, except the dog is my brain, the medication is knowledge, and the ham is Pokémon. Dog like ham, my brain like Pokémon.
Toedscool's and Toedscruel's Ground-type can be attributed to most mushrooms having earthy flavours, since many are described as such and is one of the many distinctive attributes of their flavors, not to mention that mycelium (a.k.a. the mushroom equivalent of roots) is spread thru the ground and thru rotten plant and animal matter, being what communicates various mushroom colonies of the same species together (and sometimes other species or even surrounding trees themselves) and also how they eat and spread out/reproduce, it made sense to me that these Pokémon were ground-type because of this and I would be taken aback if they were Poison-type considering that they are canonically edible (Or at least the caps on their head).
Yoooo, I’m writing a book on thylacine! Thanks for mentioning my favorite animal. I’m even planning on writing a chapter on a potential thylacine Pokémon
I find it funny that Toedscool’s and Toedscruel’s grass/ground typing is opposite to Tentacool’s and Tentacruel’s water/poison typing. Because grass is super effective against water, and ground being super effective against poison. But on the other hand grass is weak to poison, while ground is weak to water.
I think I predicted toedscool back in 2020 when I was drawing tentacool walking XD also I've been rewatching pokemon,I think even the anime predicted it back in indigo league when tentacool was walking in the crowd
Honestly, Toedscool and Toedscruel are two of my favorite things that came out of the 9th gen. I've used it on both playthroughs of the games. It's just too useful.
As a portuguese person, I've been loving these Paldea related videos on the web, and about the whole are mushrooms included in dishes part, yep, many of our dishes use mushrooms a lot! Many dishes that are favored or liked back here (As I've noticed) have mushrooms on them or incorporate them into them, you can always find a lot of different canned and/or fresh mushrooms being sold and bought at stores as well. Oh and you'll find many different sorts of mushrooms growing on/around our houses in many places, mostly villages. Thanks for the cool vid, cheers from the Azores ^_^
Ive always considered Tentacool and Tentacruel as the Zubat and Golbat of the Sea respectively due to how frequent they are. Also absolutely love Toedscool and Toedscruel, especially their shiny variants. I've been wanting another Grass/Ground type since Torterra(my favorite starter).
Fungi are so cool :) They are very smart for something you wouldn't consider to even be capable of thought. Fun Fact: Slime molds expand and retract, using this pulsing movement to move and create vein-like paths of itself In an experiment, slime molds recreated Japan's highly efficient (and overengineered as Japan usually does) train network, with only objects as terrain, and oats in place of major cities.
I don't know why but Toedscool line really fascinates me ! I find them to be so adorable and quirky. I have never loved a pokemon like this before ! btw you always look gorgeous
The fact jellyfishes’ bodies are mostly water just makes me think of how fitting is the Portuguese name for the animal. It’s called “água viva” what could be literally translated to “living water”
Fun, yet horrifying fact!: Cordyceps fungi are not only for ants, but are species for every insect and some small animals (like rats) so Parras still makes sense. Also originally thought Parras & Parrasect were crabs.
People often focus on the poisonous parasitic attributes of Mushrooms, it's good to see some content for the protective nature of the mycellium network. Mushrooms get a bad rap for how much good they do for forests 🍄
The colonial species explanation part finally makes how exeggcute, falinks, maushold lines make sense for me. They look like multiple individuals but they are considered 1 single pokemon.
It’s ground because there’s like a mycelia network under the soil in forests that acts as a sort of communication between the trees and other flora and their roots. I’m not explaining it right but it’s quite amazing. 7:12

I even tend to forget Toedscools name and just refer to it as a “Squibbon” (one of the theoretical land living squids that evolved in the future)
Glad I wasn’t the only one thinking this. Too bad he didn’t mention that in the video.
The land squid concept is now adapted imto the splatoon trilogy
Would be cool to see a line of water/ grass type squids based on the main squids from future is wild( swampus, Squibbon and the Mega squid). Or make the designs a starter by making them Water/ fairy type.
17:49 Huh. That map showed the vast majority of Spain's mushrooms being from around the northern areas.
Like how Toedscool and Cruel are most commonly found in that autumnal forest to the north west while Toedscool alone is very rarely found in many places across Paldea.

Dio!
Jotaro!
Very menacing
And gay
You beat me to it.
"hoo, you dare approach my water area?"
"I cant spore the sh*t out of you without getting closer"
“ Run,run, run as fast as you can, you can’t catch a jellyfish that runs like a man” 😂 that line at the beginning got me laughing so hard for no reason 0:00
Just 4 seconds and yet still hilarious 😂
Alongside Tinkaton, Toadscool has quickly become one of my favourite Gen 9 Pokemon with it's Squidward sounding legs as it runs
I’ve never really had strong feelings toward Tentacool before. And then this generation introduces a Pokemon that takes one of the originals I was most indifferent about and makes it one of my favorites of all time. I don’t think it’s because of recency bias when I say Toedscool is a top ten favorite design for me.
13:37 can't talk about mushrooms without the legendary quote :D I love fungi they make me so happy!
I just assumed the Grass/Ground typing was its way of saying "of the Earth." Mushrooms thrive in decaying matter. Things decay and return to the Earth. Becoming fertile soil. So it would probably be Fairy type before getting the Poison type lolol
hearing “decay exists as an extant form of life” in a lockstin video gave me whiplash
You cannot kill me in a way that matters.
@@alymatronicdeeare8265 because nothing matters (/neutral)
Praise Grandfather Nurgle!
I think it's interesting that the convergent pokemon seem to have opposite types to their counterparts, Diglett is ground so wiglett is water, tentacool is water/poison so toedscool is grass/ground
i love how every episode of this series is just Lockstin struggling to pronounce words 🤣
I love the jojo parody thumbnail. It’s really well drawn
The first mushroom tapa you listed is one of my favorites. It's a variation on a dish called gambas/camerones al ajillo. It's basically just shrimp (or mushrooms) sautéed in olive oil infused with enormous amounts of garlic and paprika, topped with a bit of parsley.
So much to go about when it comes to species, divergent evolution and it makes me so happy for the Pokémon
I have to admit that when I saw a trainer with one of these, I was like "What am the world am I looking at here?" While its design was a bit strange I can now appreciate it a lot more thanks to this video. Also, I like the new format as well. ^_^
Every time my mom and I went to Myrtle beach when I was a kid, my mom would always tell me to watch for Portuguese man o' war.
A 30 minute video about a goofified version of tentacool. What an utter masterpiece👏👏👏
Two things evolving to be so symbiotic they're practically the same creature now
I love these videos so much, I love learning, and you make it exciting and fun and I just 🥹🥹🥹
Thanks for keeping us entertained and educated!
Toedscools is officially one of my favourite gen 9 pokemon. Also, I cant imagine the amount of effort and care that goes into making a content like that of this video. Kudos to everyone working on this channel!👍
I love tentacruel evolution since the beginning, toedscool was funny to watch running around I laugh so hard when I first saw it
There are so many excellent moments in this video, but my absolute favorite has to be the sneaky reference to the “holding a gun to a mushroom” copypasta at 13:35
man, when i heard that, i had tears streaming down my face.
Seeing lockstin getting angry over tentacool being the zubat of the water gives me LIFE
When I looked up the new Pokémon for Scarlet and Violet, my first thought was: "Jeeeeesus there's a lot of dumb ideas in this one... "Mice and then you add more mice, Tentacool but it's a mushroom, flamingo-shaped flamingo..."
But then they've grown on me and I frikkin love them, and the Toeds are two of my favourite Pokémon in years.
it wasn´t only Spain that went to south america, Portugal also went where is nowadays my country Brazil
edit: btw usually think Pedro Àlvares Cabral discovered in 1500 but there was one guy that went earlier than Pedro and also there was indians tribes like tupi-guarani that lived (and stills lives) and they also gave a name before Pedro wich i don´t remember easily but some indians tribes still calls Brazil by the name they gave
the paldera region also includes portugal
4:54 FOOTnote.
Thank you, I'll be here all week.
"you can't catch a jellyfish that runs like a man". Had me in stitches man. 😂
Challenge accepted
Something plus, if the Tentacool line are based most directly on a Jellyfish and a Manowar, they were ALREADY related to convergent evolution!
Toedscool's running animation will never not be funny.
Toedscool & Toadscruel are also kind of similar the Fresno Nightwalkers. A cryptic that looks like walking mushrooms or living pairs of pants/trousers that are usually caught on camera at night.
Toedscool is totes cool!
Also, a minor biology correction, comb jellies are a separate phylum from cnidarians (Ctenophora)
One thing you didn't mention is Toedscruel seems to be specifically based on a War of the Worlds tripod, despite not having only three legs. In particular it seems to take the most inspiration from the 2005 movie version of them, with the two individual arms in an upright position since those are weapons and the prominent hood
i made a tentacool / tentacruel regional variant for my own Netherlands inspired region (with variant i mean convergent evolution, otherwise i would have said form)
they are based on pendulum clocks, Dutch inventions
I kind of love how opposite tenta and toad are to each other. Even their typing have an opposites that balance each other out, grass/ground to water/poison.
Thinking about it now, could there be a similar relationship between Deku Scrubs and Octoroks from the Legend of Zelda series? They both spit rocks at you, from Q*Bert octopus like mouths. I wish Deku Scrubs were around longer than Majora's Mask in the console games... I'm hoping they return in TotK.
This has been one of the best generations for grass types. I love our mushroom, olive and tumbleweed friends…also the goat.
Really appreciate the metric system conversion in this video 🙏❤❤❤
Toedscool got that SpongeBob walk from the Lost episode 🤣
Trivia: Torterra is the only other Pokémon with the typing grass-ground and Toedscruel's name in German is Tenterra
Wow this is easily one of your best videos yet. I love how in depth you go into pokemon designs. Amazing work ❤
so about the 80 tentacle thing: it makes sense that the artworks have way less tentacles, if you think about it from an srtist perspective.
I would like to see you do an analysis on Gholdengo. It’s my favorite Pokemon and I wanna see all of the hidden folklore and inspirations behind it.
Fun jellyfish/ pelagic fact! As jelly fish and other floating sea creatures on the water's surface are exposed relentlessly to the harsh waves of UV radiation, many evolved to have blue and mostly purplish colors to resist the Ultra Violet waves- like the portuguese man o' war, purple jellyfish, purple snail, etc
also, the protrusions on tentacruel are very likely based off the beak due to their position at the rear, where the mouth is connected at the base of the tentacles- the black bottom region of the pokemon.
It's pretty funny that you can make an entire team of mushrooms now, yet game freak have only just finally done a dolphin lol.
Fully evolved ones as we could make a team of Mushrooms as early as Gen 5.
I wish there was a pokemon broadcasting network. I'd watch your show every morning before work.
i LOVE the.. "direction", of this video, i guess - the "sidetracks" and stuff are all so fascinating and i've honestly often wished you went into more depth on things you bring up to compare to Pokémon design inspiration and lore and whatnot. keep it up, my friend, i really love your stuff!
4:02 "Notably, Arven's whole team is based on food."
Mabostiff: (sweats nervously)
HE QUOTED THE EXISTENTIAL MUSHROOM POST
One of the reasons I love this channel is because it teaches me cool new things I would've never even thought to have looked into, all under the guise of Pokémon yet still being relevant to Pokémon itself. Like, Mushroom "trees"? Mycelium Networks? I never would've looked that up in my spare time normally.
It's like trying to give your dog medication by wrapping it in ham, except the dog is my brain, the medication is knowledge, and the ham is Pokémon. Dog like ham, my brain like Pokémon.

People: *is that a Jojo reference!?*
Cool jojo reference

Wouldn’t surprise me if that was the case
When I first started watching you I thought your hair was ridiculous. 10 years later, and I now appreciate your well-groomed gnoggin ;)
So wait, if the land used to be covered in giant Not-tree mushrooms and fungi, does that mean…
Mushroom fields from Minecraft are real?
Fungi are so cool :)
They are very smart for something you wouldn't consider to even be capable of thought.
Fun Fact:
Slime molds expand and retract, using this pulsing movement to move and create vein-like paths of itself
In an experiment, slime molds recreated Japan's highly efficient (and overengineered as Japan usually does) train network, with only objects as terrain, and oats in place of major cities.
13:34 "you cannot kill me in a way that matters" etc etc
I don't know why but Toedscool line really fascinates me ! I find them to be so adorable and quirky. I have never loved a pokemon like this before !
btw you always look gorgeous
All who enjoyed this video should try Casual Geographics
at the very least, Hbomberguy, Some More News, Professor Dave Explains.
Toedscool probably: you cannot kill me in a way that matters
The fact jellyfishes’ bodies are mostly water just makes me think of how fitting is the Portuguese name for the animal.
It’s called “água viva” what could be literally translated to “living water”
"Arven's whole team is based on food"
Ah yes, Spanish Mastiff, my favorite meal.
It's a video all about mushrooms
100/10 would watch again
Fun, yet horrifying fact!: Cordyceps fungi are not only for ants, but are species for every insect and some small animals (like rats) so Parras still makes sense. Also originally thought Parras & Parrasect were crabs.
I love Toedscool - he's a funky little cartoon dude. I like how his shiny makes him look like a b&w cartoon.
Tentacool: "Oh, you're aproaching me?"
Toedscool: "I cant mimic you if I don't approach you"
People often focus on the poisonous parasitic attributes of Mushrooms, it's good to see some content for the protective nature of the mycellium network.
