A cleaning method i recommend is putting Salt and Water in the pan, boiling it while you lightly scrape the surface with a spatula/spoon to remove gunk, toss out the water and salt mix, keep the pan upside down on the counter with a little gap for water vapors to escape, then after an hour or 2 turn it over, lightly oil the pan and use a piece of paper towel to rub the oil around the surface of the skillet. you'll have less angry oil and your skillet will last longer ;)

@@suverenia I suppose you have no idea about fine cooking (try some, it's much better than your takeouts). What he did with the salt and leaving it in the fridge is called "brining", which gives the meat more flavor and much juicier. Hate to say it but there is no point at searing a piece of brined meat that you got out of the fridge then wrapping it again in plastic and then chill it two more times. Yes stunning cinematography lovely music but too many bacteria.

Alvin, thank you. Honestly your videos are a wonderful calming thing for me. I am bullied often in school, but making your food and watching your videos helps me to stay the way I want to be, not a depressed blob on the floor. I know it sounds weird but, that is really what your videos are for me, so thank you.
I’m so sorry you’re being bullied, and proud of you for finding ways not to let it get you down. This, too, shall pass, and soon those awful kids will no longer be a part of your life. Stay strong until then, my friend! We’re all rooting for you.
I also went through this back in 1993-1998. And what? I am a successful adult, with a good job, family, home... And those scum from school... someone went to prison, someone drank himself to death, someone works as a janitor for pennies... Hold on, bro! Everything will be fine. Time will pass, and you will forget all these school things.

Is nobody going to talk about how the oil stopped splattering when he told it to--
@@suverenia Lol, you're crazy. I'm sorry, you have some kind of problem with this guy - some kind of insecurity or jealousy. He just cooked a meal for himself. It's totally up to him what he does and how he does it.
@@suverenia Christ almighty you must be fun at parties... Meat doesn't spoil that quickly--especially when refrigerated--not to mention that he's making to meal for himself not for you or anyone else. So how he chooses to prepare it is really none of your concern. He didn't even leave the meat out for that long, and it's WINTER. Even if it was outside of the fridge a little bit, it's not like it was left in the summer heat.
@@suverenia I suppose you have no idea about fine cooking (try some, it's much better than your takeouts). What he did with the salt and leaving it in the fridge is called "brining", which gives the meat more flavor and much juicier. Also, the plastic wrap he used is food-grade (again, try some fine cooking once in your life) and they don't melt until your food reaches some 220 to 250 degrees (and the meat he wrapped was cooled off, between the footage that he cut so that you can enjoy only the best part)
yeah because there was a cut and he only told it to stop when the oil stopped splashing.
If that makes sense?
Hate to say it but there is no point at searing a piece of brined meat that you got out of the fridge then wrapping it again in plastic and then chill it two more times. Yes stunning cinematography lovely music but too many bacteria.
