The debate over the validity of two pints reminds me of something Craig Charles once said. he was travelling into the BBC one day feeling shit about his career and the way the shows he appeared on were construed but as he walked in the door of the beeb he saw a poster stating that Red Dwarf and Robot wars were two of the most successful shows BBC2 ever produced. Two pints was also the best thing BBC3 ever produced, it was the pinnacle of the channel.
People are so snobby about studio-based sitcoms. I loved The Royle Family and The Office but particularly after the latter, it became fashionable to bash studio-based sitcoms.
Shame they brought the channel back and packed it with absolute shit literally unwatchable wank old bbc three was elite I miss it monkey business , some girls, little britain everything was just superior

this episode was top toch.. i remember the first time i watched the show i was 16 just left school and at first i wasent keen on the show but it grew on me ..i remember i was going away and i asked my friend to record the episode for me and he did on his vhs player and still to this day i have that tape haha....ive never been much of a tv person myself but always put two pints in my top3 shows ever am sorry csst supernatural my all time favourite show lol

I always knew anyway but it's sad to hear that Ralf felt embarrassed about Two Pints and cared what people thought too much. If he didn't feel that way back then we might have gotten more than 6 series of classic Two Pints. It went so SO bad after Jonny disappeared.

Will really should have taken more offence to Ralf's humourous comment "Is Tony Slattery not available?" about Will being the last person to be auditioned for his part. Imagine being told that you were considered after Tony Slattery. A man at least 3 alphabets worth of z-lister down the talent ladder.
I don't know anyone who watched that show with any regularity, I remember flicking through the channels at 1:30 in the morning off my head on coke and seeing it on my only memory of it.
The only issue I have with Ralf is his constant begging for sponsors and money, less than 10 mins into the show and they've brought it up at least 3-5 times
Come on BBC three is back now there’s at least a Christmas special left for 2 pints it was the best show they ever did and there was some decent shows on there back in the day
It's a completely different place now wouldn't even be worth time coz bbc would edit and change so much stuff better off doing it themselves through a different platform
I still watch two pints on iplayer rewatched it so much it never stops being funny ever glad it never got edited for the woke snowflakes coz little britain got edited up for the woke so it's unwatchable . Shame how all the BBC three originals are slowly disappearing
