Thank you so much.
Christ that's a rip off then, utube wouldn't have a platform without any podcasters, maybe utube needs some competition,?
Many UA-camrs do get a share of the ads but the criteria to qualify is very very strict, locking out many UA-camrs, myself included.

One of the best British comedy's
Happy you enjoyed it.
Brilliant comedy from bygone and better times.
There are no situational comedies to match these classics today.
R.I.P Yootha.❤
Absolutely agree. 👍
Thanks ❤ from Sweden. This is much better than what we have now on the tv!!!
Agree. And glad you like it!
British comedy was always the best. „George & Mildred“ along with „Are you being served“, „Mind your language“, „Man about the house“.
Thanks for uploading George & Mildred
So glad Brian Murphy is still with us at 91😀
I think Sheila fearne is still here too, Poor Yootha I rememebr hearing about it as a kid as my Mum was upset and I didn't know who she was.
Absolutely brilliant comic actor
litarlly & incredble actor and comdien
I’ve been watching these episodes every night before bed for the last two months. Just love it. They put me to sleep
Oh same..I've been going thru the seasons also..when I saw season 1 had to watched. Also been watching OPEN ALL HOURS..love having a good laugh😂
No way I'm the same 45 years old 🇬🇧
Same here...watchin in the Philippines. Love George and Mildred, Bless This House and Robins Nest. Such comforting comedy to nod off to. God bless
I loved this when i was a kid, i didn't understand the humour back then, watching it now, ohhh, isn't it cheeky 😂. I love it even more now.
Absolute classic comedy at it's best. I loved this in the 70s.
Nothing beats the classics
I also love Nearest & Dearest 😂 and Not on your Nellie 😂
I just discovered this show. Watched one episode of Serie 5, felt in love. Now starting from the beginning. I just love British comedy. I'm French but brought up by my English grand mother. She obviously kept secrets 😅❤
Lovely sentiments 😊
They started in ' man about the house ' show
Love it when George winds Mr Fourmile right up with talk of ferret hutches and pigeon lofts! 🤣
I'm Australian and in my 40s and I remember watching this show as a kid I loved it! Brian who plays George is still alive age 91
Me too! 🇦🇺
U cant beat it george and mildred love them remembered back in the day our family used to love them happy memories ashame nothing like this anymore 😊
It’s a pity that you don’t get comedy like this anymore, funny, witty and entertaining harmless comedy unlike some of the rubbish they make nowadays
Could not put it better myself! 👍
That’s why I’m glad the internet is around. Newer generations can enjoy the comedy of old.
👍👍👍
So unfunny I vaguely remember it from my teenage years
Yep I love the old shows
George and Mildred were so funny to watch, thank you for showing us their program again. 🎉🎉😂😅😊😊
Glad you're enjoying it. Please share 🙏
I'm from New York City. I love traditional British comedy. It is far better and more enjoyable than what is available on U.S. television. I can watch these episodes over and over. I keep laughing.
So Glad you love and enjoy it !! Laughter is one of the best things for us
Still watching, after all these yrs.am 67 now Still makes m 😂.
Love it! Seen umpteen times, but love the series without having to search for episodes x
Happy to hear that you're enjoying them.
What a funny comedy to whatch for family 😂😂
Now that was a blast from the past. I’ve not seen that program in many years.
I remember these in the eighties, we even had a new avocado bathroom put in ! The height of poshness bavk then 😂❤
I love George and Mildred so funny imagine if on today it would be censored lol
Thank you loads 2nd night watching some proper comedy better than the shite on telly nower days 👍🏻
Glad you enjoy them. 🙂
Mildred was a great foil for George. Mildred was always immaculately dressed ...good manners and etiquette: They were a great team working off each other, tremendous timing, great lines and simple good humour.👏👏👏
I rediscovered this show only last week. I loved it when I was a child, was very much unaware of the class differences highlighted in it. In some ways Mildred reminds me of Hyacinth Bucket, pronounced Bouquet, but George is a lot more vocal than Richard and unashamed of who he is.
I absolutely love Mildred’s clothes, especially those banana trousers
Yes !! And she always looked fantastic and beautiful in them all too, I think I would look awful !!
yes i loved this back in the day and on the buses
They so good together good friends real life❤😊
June 2024: A million views in four months! I'm enjoying working my way through each episode, starting with series 1.😊
I love the way George and Mildred interact with children
Love this episode still funny to watch 😂😂😅😅❤❤
Enjoying this blast from the past all over again. The comic timing of all the cast, including the little fella' who plays Tristram, is wonderful. Thanks for the upload. xx
That little fella is now 55 or 56 now.
... ". he's working class and bloody proud of it ! " Love it !!
Thank you so much 🙏 I am so in love with this show ❤
Me to 🙂
Greetings Maurice
Wish that we could ,were able to make laughter like this these days.
The British are king in comedy ❤
A spin-off from "Man About The House". Shows how good that show must have been.
Classic comedy 💯
Brian Murphy , comedy hero! Yootha Joyce comedy heroine!
Genius comedy at its best. Excellent actors. Thank you for posting the complete serie 1 :)
Glad you enjoyed it
I did thank you :) Will you post the complete serie 2 ?
I have posted all 5 series on my UA-cam channel.
@@in2movies Thank you so much :)
as a Benny Hill & Are you being Served fan - I love this show. Thanks for posting
I love these both iv alkways lived them Mildred’s is gorgous lady like glamioures ah I mis them both watch them in the 80❤❤❤❤❤❤
Excellent series. Really miss those days.
I really like how Mildred dresses. She dresses so fancy compared to her hubby
Ethel to Mildred: Humphrey's just had electronic gates put on the drive. They open to the sound of my voice.
Humphrey: Haven't seen them shut yet🤣
First time ever watching this one. Very funny 😜🤪📺👍. From North Carolina
I hope you enjoy it as much as I have . 🙂
I understand it's a comedy and I like watching this again because I used to watch this with my nan and granda in the 70s when
I was 11-year-old. But Brian Murphy is now 91. So youtha Joyce said you will live till a 100. So he has only got 9 years LOL🤔🇬🇧.
Brian Murphy is wonderful in this, and later in "Last of the Summer Wine."
How can you not love this show?
British humour and sarcasm at it's finest. They'd be cancelled in a jiffy today.
I was just reminded my great grandmother was called Mildred.
These are just fantastic.
Brilliant
Thanks for putting these up on UA-cam
It was so sad about Yootha Joyce and, later, Roy Kinear. I had to look up what happened to Joyce but still remember hearing about Kinear's accident on the set of one of the Three Mustketeer movies.
Yootha’s story is very sad!!
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC SERIES 👏 197s
Hilarious! This is proper comedy it's funny
❤ this watched it when i was a kid
Excellent performances
Good comedy ❤sadly mist !! Much enjoyed so much better than the rubbish they force us to watch these DAYS!!! I
Fun Fact: Mr Fourmile also played the role of "Norman" (Robin's brother) in Man About the House. He ended up marrying Chrissy!
I'm an American from New York, and this is way better and smarter than U.S. comedy. The lines are hilarious.
The American comedy all in the family is absolutely brilliant comedy
Taxi was a great show.
BRILLIANT SERIES 😁
You are the deceased to be. we are just doing window shopping. old is gold is so true for this series
Genius comedy, worlds funnier than modern day stifled stuff
So true. 🙂
I believe these characters became The Ropers on Three’s Company
Weren't they in Man About The House as well?
@@jonathanstempleton7864 Deffo came from man about the house -as the landlords, this show is better tho
Correction. The US made a version of the UK “Man About the House” - a show about a man sharing a flat with 2 women, with the Ropers being the landlords. This show is a spin off of the UK series that ended in 1976 (I think).
The other way around. George and Mildred was a spin-off from Man About the House. This first episode features them moving from their old house to a better neighbourhood.
Poor Mildred died of alcohol related liver failure at age 53. 😢😢😢
George is still going strong at 92!
🥳🥳🥳
George and Mildred, Rising Damp, Bless This House, Dads Army, Steptoe, Are You Being Served, Allo Allo, Ever Decreasing Circles, Keeping Up Appearances, Some Mothers Do Ave Em, Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads, Til Death Do Us Part, Dick Emery Show. GOLDEN AGE. I know I'm leaving some out but all the above, just brilliant. Rose tinted specs by me? Absolutely. Sheila Fern = Gorgeous. Always enjoyed this sitcom. Oops, Only Fools and Horses, Last of the Summer Wine, Hi Di Hi, Open All Hours.........
I can't name a single modern comedy
Bet your fun at parties @@SamuelBlack84
The Good life was another
The great era for everything 😊
Love Thy Neighbour?
It's a good show it reminded me of my childhood
❤❤❤❤❤ 😂😂😂😂😂 very funny show
There are a few good reasons to leave the 1970's behind, and Yootha's banana-print trousers are just one good reason!
The 70's fashion was really out there, wasn't it?
70s interior design was just as awful
@@in2movies it was really varied, you could be as out there, or as muted & mild as you could possibly get, and anything in-between
Love 💖 from Canada 🇨🇦🇬🇧
Little Tristram had the best lines.
Miss seeing that Thames logo.
So do I , it was so lovely , and the music that went with it, Love it
😂 Superb 😂
This was well written
2 Beuitfull people ah I mis them❤

" artificial insinuation" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love this one 1⃣ Trevdec singer songwriter ❤declan ❤
Still great 2 watch quite agree 👍
CHEERS from AUSTRALIA
Hello from Sydney.
I hadn't realised before, but episodes that have more characters than usual, meant a slightly extra length end theme. The last episode for example has this extra bit
I anvnt seen all of them but season one is the best.
1:37:56 Brian will probably live to a 100.. He'll be 92 come September..
Poor Yootha she went first. Brian Murphy has oulived his great pal by nearly 41 years.
This is the British spin off of, “Man About the House,” and we Americans copied “Man…” as, “Three’s Company.” “George and Mildred,” is our, “Roper’s,” the scripts are near identical in both American series. More or less plug and plays, with only a few changes to make them more relatable to American audiences.
American TV is not 1bit funny you laugh at everything when someone is on stage I can never understand why??? Irish lad here..
@@Timmy-w6r I’d take offense, but the bulk of UK comedies are rubbish too. So, you’re the pot calling the kettle black.
Some one hit a nerve
No. This is the show that the Americans ripped off. It’s the original. &, man about the house, you ripped that off too.
@@UA-camcanfuckagoat It would be awesome if people could comprehend what they read. You’re not the sharpest knife in the drawer! Btw, the adaptation rights were actually bought, not stolen, by Donald L. Taffner Productions, for both series. If we took your brain and injected it up the butt of a mosquito, it would sound like a BB rolling around in a boxcar.
The British are so smart.
See a rally good show too paly on here keep up there good work on here how are u ok today keep up there good work on hsre
Oh oh oh Sheila Fearn, what a wonderfull women 🙂
'Woman' you mean which means one woman. (Women the plural means more than one ). Cheers.
No smooth boys either 🤣😅😆
Right away! Will do.
The classic comedies of or a lot better and what today's are too much sex too much violence keep repeating the Old programs you can't beat the old classics
I agree....but then, I am getting on in years, and ''Nostalgia ain't what it used to be'' ;)
Watching the telly on telly. The show within the show trope.
Its a pity just have to look at the old ones🎉
The wife of captain peacock 😂
That’s exactly what I thought!!!! I was looking for this comment!!
I think her name is / was Diana King
Sheila Fawn is so beautiful 🙂
Fearn
Sheila Fearn. Oh yes.
How England used to be, good old days
What; you mean a husband who was sponging off the SS with a couple of puppies, going to the pub and deliberately not staying in one job for more than two weeks? Same today, not a lot has changed, I'm afraid. Or are you talking about the class difference? Same these days, those who have and those who haven't. The only thing that has predominantly changed (among many other things, of course) is how rude, bad mannered, inconsiderate and savage the public has become.
@@mohammaddavoudian7897 it is comedy sitcom lol old English humour, I am not of a high class neither am I a dole dosser, these are old English tv comedies which do make you remember how peaceful and safe the country was sorry if that affended you, I’m allowed to feel nostalgia over the past
@@Lilleth1 Not at all, what i was trying to say was, that even back in those days Britain had her problems but on a much smaller scale. Thank you for explaining and please don't forget that I am a huge fan of good old British comedy. I wish you a happy and healthy life.
@@mohammaddavoudian7897 they remind me of a my grandmother who passed last year at 89 she had a great sense of humour ❤️ I wish love, peace and respect to win over hate, greed and criminality… good health to you 🙏
This first series had a wonderful theme tune which was inexplicably changed for Series 2 onwards. The tune for this first series was raucous, vulgar, and with some quite surprising key changes. It made you smile. Later they used a generic type insipid theme tune which was completely boring.
Absolutely agree!
