Fantastic Rebuild and probably better than new now. Good for another 100 years.

Thanks for your video, I am in the process of cleaning up a Size 5 Class M ( supplied with a single ME sized flywheel ) Unfortunately some-one decided to use sump oil in the system and there are large deposits of sludge etc. There have been a few pipes that I was unclear as to where they should go but I believe your video has solved that, but I will still ask . The pipe that is connected to the water outlet and comes from the fuel block above the cylinder head. Is that for preheating the fuel? Also this engine is fitted with a cam operated valve for the air start, I've never seen one on a video . Have you had any experience with them and if so do you know the procedure for starting, I would imagine it could be left on with the decompression engaged until the engine has reached enough speed to start.

@@The38AC Very sad you left, and I speak for many. I was very interested in using your guidance and post info to help me build my 6/1 and 12/2. I was shocked to see it taken down. Is there any way you could be persuaded to return to the forum? If not, would you ever be inspired to write a book on the care and feeding of Listeroid clones? Happy New Year....

Do you change compression for gasoline/diesel operation, or timing ?
