Coach is not taking into account the strong deep end of the opposing team. He's trying to keep the ball from them in the second half but his tactics are ineffective against the might of their seasoned running backs. Regarding the opposing team penetrating his line, Coach is simply stating platitudes and wants to qualify a potential loss by saying it's "a game of ups and downs," obviously worried about the weakness displayed by his quarterbacks in the first half. The interviewer is trying to level penetrating questions at Coach, but Coach seems to be doing a better job of blocking and deflecting those questions than his own team on the field of play! Very poor interviewing style from the Fox Sports host, in not asking followup questions, which might have elicited more illuminating responses from this slippery Coach.
