Today, it is clear to me that "Eternal Sunshine" is one of the best films of this century so far, with brilliant script, directing, acting, and music. I only wish Jim Carrey would be fortunate enough to be a part of something equally magical again. He is immensely gifted as an actor and a human.

One of my favourite Jim Carrey films is the Grinch who Stole Christmas. I can't think if anyone else who could pull off the performance he did in that film. The i'm 60 line has become a reality. Thank God he's still with us, being a comic genius can have a huge flip side.
Wow what a hilarious performance in the first part. And the silence... wow. The crowd couldn't even handle it. And then right into the promotion of Eternal Sunshine (perhaps my favourite film of all time). Incredible. Can't believe I have never seen this before. A very meta performance, decades before this kind of stuff would be mainstream.
The audience ruined the bit by laughing and clapping the whole time. Would have been weirder and funnier if they weren't talking and the only sound was the ambient noise of the studio.
One of the very few people I've ever seen that can make you happy and usually make you laugh your ass off every time you see him. Thank God he had the upbringing he did that helped his will to become a professional performer, otherwise he likely would have channeled his mania into negativity and wound up in a mental hospital and the world would not know of his gifts.

My belief is that creativity is a conduit....and different types of Intuition bleed through... It's like when you pour noodles into a strainer, there's always some that squeak through the gaps and go down the sink....

I was 18, the girl I desperately loved had gotten pregnant and midway through I found she was cheating on me and left. My life felt ruined before it even began. It was the strongest heartbreak I had ever experienced. I decided to go to the movies alone that night and saw this film. I will never forget that.

So as he's talking about his movie and how memories are erased it reminds me of medication that we take for an extended period of time in our body becomes immune to it we overcome it we adapt just like my memory is coming back
As much as I adore his comedy, my two favorite Jim Carrey movies are not really comedies and make me cry SOOO MUCH: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and The Majestic.

I was 100% sure that it was coming off of A Series of Unfortunate Events, something to do with making the makeup and costuming easier as Olaf considering all his different disguises.
