9:30-That look of panic on Toms face is too funny when hears the rooster crowing. He was too busy hearing it before and not hearing Barnabas saying "its getting light".
So many scary things happening at Collinswood. No wonder Willie is a nervous wreck. Elizabeth thinks her brother and everybody are out to get her. Barnabas is trying to save Julia from Tom. And what's up with Roger? You don't knock and then just walk into somebody's house.
Back in the 1960s in small towns and rural areas, front and back doors were seldom locked when people were at home during the day, and people did knock and walk into other people's houses if they were family members or even close neighbors. This began to change in the 1970s with the rise in crime rates that accompanied the economic downturns in the recessions of 1969-1970 and 1973-1975, particularly the latter recession that started with the 1973 oil crisis and included stagflation, i.e., high inflation and high unemployment with no economic growth. Besides, Barnabas did not own the Old House. He was a guest. Elizabeth owned the Old House and all of the buildings on the Collinwood estate.
Did you notice Tom had his eyes open as Barnabas was placing the stake over his heart? After Sun up? Vampires don't exist by day yet Tom lets out a good yell when Barnabas stakes him.
Nearby neighboring farms. Remember on the early Black & White episodes after the arrival of Barnabas there was dead cattle in the area where their blood was expertly drained.
Best to let the other fans that haven't seen the storyline before be surprised. Did you notice after Sun up Tom had his eyes in the coffin open as Barnabas was positioning the stake over his heart? Vampires don't exist by day but Tom sure let out a good yell when he was staked.
Great show! DS Fan Forever! 😊❤
I love the musical cue that is played when Barnabss fights Tom
BARNABAS: "Get me a stake, Willie. Now!"
WILLIE: "Well-done, medium, or rare?"
How ironic that Barnabas Collins, the vampire who saved the series from cancellation in its first season, is now the vampire killer!
"We need a Doctor! Someone get Dr. Guthrie or Dr. Woodard or Dr. Lang!" ---- Oops
Good to have Liz "Barrel of Laughs" Stoddard back
I read your comment before the episode and wondered why you said it.
"She's dead. She's dead." 😂😂😂
Liz was under a spell cast on her by Angelique/Cassandra. The spell involved her being obsessed with death, especially her own.

Enjoy the show 🎉

Collins wood where people never sleeps and it's never to odd to do anything 3 in the morning
Especially if they're out running around in the graveyard 🪦or the woods. 🌲🌲
They sure drank a lot of brandy and ate sedatives like candy. I believe Dr. Hoffman was a live in drug dealer.
"IT'S LIGHT, IT'S GETTING LLL..IIIII..GGGG..HT!" 😂

LOL. The rooster crowing. Did Collinwood have a farm?

Put a lid on it.
