Missed this as I was out enjoying myself being a teenager😂 so now I’m old I’ve got time to catch up on all the dramas I missed. 🎉. One thing that does strike me is how all the young actors went on to great things.
Suspense that is actually suspenseful. Good show, first time discovery. Looking forward to the rest of the series. Thanks for the upload and it's high quality.
Unfortunately I lost the ability to watch good television in 1967 when My parents forcibly relocated Me to Australia. Fortunately now I can do some much needed catching up. Thank you.
Lol!!!😄 In 1967 I was forcibly relocated from Australia to Europe (Germany) due to my Mothers disastrous marriage to a German. Never went back except to visit twice for a few months. Glad I never returned. Didn't like the place.
What a treat! Missed it the first time around. Looking forward to seeing the following episodes. Thanks for uploading - and for the quality of the video.
Thank you very much for the set of uploads...saw it all when new, loved it enough to try to record some of it as audio onto cassette (remember that?), and ever since archive TV releases started happening it's been one very much always on my DVD wishlist. Unfortunately Network Video only got as far as releasing episode one, on a sampler DVD with a number of other things they were testing the water on for a release. I doubt that any other company will go the extra yards for stuff like this now that Network are gone. :(
"What the dickens!?" It's Tessa ! I can't remember seeing anything of her before Grantchester. Happy to enjoy this whole series. Thank you for the excellent upload.
. Tessa was in Pride and Prejudice, one of the younger sister. She is always outstanding, P&P dated 1980s? Judy Parfitt, Barbara Shelley. ..wonderful performances
Just love British productions. This was incredibly charming & informative. Henry V11 was a good King & the Monastic time was beneficial to all. Then here comes Henry V111, who destroyed it all.
Started watching this the other day - hadn't heard of it, possibly due to going to college, but one which keeps you intrigued. Will have to find out if any of the other stories were adapted for TV...
Really happy to find this. Mid 6 months chemo in nz and struggling to find good tv. Trying to fit acorn into the budget. Seeing a few familiar faces from early Midsommer Murder episodes.
Everyone remembers Derek Thompson as being in Casualty, but I always remember him being in The Long Good Friday and first 2 series of The Gentle Touch. Michael Craig was the ship's Captain in Triangle.
Being born in 73 there is a whole host of TV that simply passed me by, which I now get to enjoy as if it was new.
Me too, I love watching stuff from late 70s through to the 80s. I was born in 1974, and I can't believe I'm 50 this year😮
@@skyepalmer5719I turned 50 in June and I couldn't be happier! Welcome to the club.😊
@@PumaLyn ☺️
😆🤣😹 I was born in 1946 which makes me 78y.o. I missed all the shows you remember. 😹😹😹

A real treat. Never broadcast in the USA. Thanks for the upload.
MAGNIFICENT MYSTERY!!

I grew up in Australia and saw too much British tv-Dad was a Pom. Dad couldn't get off ABC. 📺

I was in the same boat but my parents forcibly relocated me to Canada. How I missed all the old TV programs. 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇬🇧🇬🇧
My parents dragged me to Australia on the Fairsea in 1966 when I was 8 years old; then dragged me back to the UK in 1973! 🙄
At least you had Skippy.
Happy memories from my days at Granada TV. I was the ASM on this. Great to see it again :)
Nice to hear from you. We also have this ua-cam.com/video/Qz5W0gqvwAA/v-deo.html - is that one of yours as well?
@@ClassicBritishTelly Yep. I worked on this too but not the whole programme, just a few bits and pieces.
Really enjoyed that and looking forward to the rest of the episodes. Thanks for the upload.
I read that there are only 6 episodes made. I wonder why?
Ah CBT, you've only gone and done it again! I'm hooked once more, thank you so much, think I'm going to enjoy this, keep 'em coming and stay lucky!
Big thumbs up and thanks!
I must say I totally enjoyed this series what a little treat it was and I do recommend it.

Well you will love to know she's in the later seasons of Only Fools and Horses...😊
And she was Del Boy's love interest, Raquel in Only Fools and Horses, with Nicholas Lyndhurst as Del's brother

Looking foreword to the other episodes, thanks.
Thank you so much for this, love it!!
I really like the ex-cop turned man of the cloth! I hope there are many of these episodes!
Michael Craig turns 96 today, 27 January!! Much-loved here in Australia for his starring role in G.P.

Thank you. 👍
Great show. Great actors.
Brilliant, thank you!
Thanks for sharing these!
Excellent!
Thank you😊
The young engaged woman looks like the housekeeper in Grantchester, BBC mystery series. Delightful to see actors when they were 40+ yrs younger!
Tessa Peake-Jones, same actress.
Better known as Raquel😉
She was married to Del Boy in Only Fools and Horses 😊
Grantchester is ITV, not BBC
@@Greenwillow😂 funny times.
Love this thank you

John Rhys-Davies! What a pleasant surprise. At least for me, maybe not for the vicar..

Charlie from Casualty with a curly perm and the flared trews and kipper tie it could only be the 70's!
THANK YOU FROM TEXAS😊
Yep, a very young and pretty Tessa Peake Jones...
I know!!!
Amazing the monosyllabic Armchair went on to be highly intelligent in Indiana Jones and LOTR
Never knew of this one. Yay! He'll bring the dog meat next time.
Just 6 minnits into the vid... and I've got it!
The doggo is the detective! Yeah!
.
Nobody does it better than the Brits.
Used to , not now so much . Latest productions have been total woke garbage
A young Charlie Fairhead ( Derek Thompson)
😂 yes
And Del Boys wife Raquel
Super stuff. Never ever knew of this series but great to catch up all these years later.
And John Rhys Davis!!
No synopsis for these episodes but look very interesting episode one
In these older films that include children as extras, I always wonder how many of them became famous actors.
Nice early Synthesiser.
Classic drama from Granada's golden era ( 1961 1987)
Casualty only fools and horses etc all come to mind in te first few minutes 😄
He got woke up right on the Devil's hour, 3.33am!
remember watching these on Sunday afternoons.
do you have any QUEST OF EAGLES episodes?
Raquel from Only Fools and Horses and Charlie from Casualty! Brill
Tessa Peake -Jones 💖💖💖💖💖💖
Shows here so good, I'm pretty much done with new U.S. tv shows.
What the hell happened to our TV ……..not fit to watch now ….got rid of Evil Edna years ago
Oh my! Evil Edna. Willo The Whisp was trying to tell us!
Heey, it's Raquel.
