Great video & comparison.... I've had the Forest Gray headphones for a few days now and the bottom line, they are outstanding at what they are designed to do, definitely hit above their pay grade. Think XM4 but with better transparency, comparable ANC, superior bass, and super comfortable with lots of extras in the app..... great video & sincere thanks!

I have to say that the bass on these headphones is just fantastic, but sometimes, just sometimes, I miss that shaking on my head that the Skullcandy headphones provide. However, overall, the Sony headphones are way better. (I have both of them)

Hi I wanna to buy the crusher 2 but the quality sounds is so important to me and the anc what do you think about the sound quality and the anc?( I saw the review about the crushers)
Now I have the rail anc skullcandy and the bass and the sound quality is good I liked more than AirPods Pro 2
I just bought both the ULT and the ANC 2. I returned the ANC 2 mainly due to the poor sound clarity in comparison to the ULT. The only thing the ANC 2 has that the ULT doesn’t is the vibrating fake bass gimmick. The music itself sounds distorted at times. That doesn’t happen with the Sonys.
As for noise cancelling, the Sonys are incredibly better at it than the Skullcandys.
@Aviad24 IMO, I think the ULT WEAR has better overall sound and cleaner bass. I do like the Crusher ANC 2s, but the haptic bass, although is powerful, is not as clean.
Dirty VS Clean / Haptic VS REAL ... want a crazy rumble? Skullcandy .... Want a Consistency? Sony ... Why??? Skullcandy sometimes hits them haptics on the wrong spot

I'm thinking about getting the Skullcandy Crusher ANC 2 or the Sony ULT.
The crushers have too much bass. I always use them with Tidal to bring out that clarity in the vocals.
Which one has higher volume at max out of these 2?
IMO, the Skullcandy Crushers are louder.

BUT - in your personalised EQ for the Skullcandy, the bass was boasted but with the Sony, it was flat!!
No wonder the Skullcandy was distorting.
When you said, "Optimised settings", I would think the Skullcandy shouldn't be dustorting.
So I don't think that made it a fair comparison!!
I think the EQ should have been set to flat or its signature sound for both headphones.

Sony wins. Their tuning for bass is unparalleled. Although the ANC on ULT wear is somewhat disappointing.
+ flossy carter already said the bass in the skull crushers is fake bass it's not from the speakers it's manufactured they just make the headphones physically/artificially shake to make it SEEM as if the bass is coming from the speakers but it's not

I have the Crusher Anc 2. You have to disable Nc/transparency mode (which is bad anyways) and then the bass doesn't distort at all. But I'm thinking about picking the Sony because the Crushers are not comfortable at all for me
Update : I do have both now. The Crushers are waaaaayy better. The Sony's Literally do not have any Bass at all. The Crushers are louder, fuller have more highs, mids and most importantly 20 times more bass without sounding bad. The Sony are waaaay more comfy, the Crushers get uncomfortable quick. But other than that you can't compare these 2. The Crushers wins hands down.
I have to disagree on the Sony ULT WEARS not having any bass. Like I said in the video, the Crusher ANC 2s have powerful bass, the ULT WEAR has clean smooth bass. I'd go with the Sony's because of that.
Tried disabling as you suggested. Still sounded bad. Returned them today. Keeping the ULT.
@@kvnstlDisagree, big time. The Crushers just have poor clarity to them. Music distorts at times, despite how you EQ them. Same is not true with the Sonys. I returned my Crushers, kept the ULT. All the Crushers had going for them is the vibrating gimmick. I’d rather the music sound accurate than get an ear/neck massage with subpar music clarity.

You did a mistake bro you should lower the volume and hit that crusher button to the max there will not be any distraction try it and you will love that freaking concert sub bass bro

Let’s be real. Sony is a multi billion dollar global technology company, producing top of the line professional grade electronics, putting tons of money into research and development for their products. Skullcandy puts vibrators in low grade headphones. It’s why the Sonys sound better. The people who like the vibrating fake bass gimmick can buy the Crushers.

It’s low grade sound quality headphones with physical devices in the ear cups that vibrate when triggered for a fake bass effect, versus… top quality headphones with excellent sound quality produced by Sony.

In terms of raw bass intensity? Sure. In terms of raw audio quality? Its not even close to the ANC 2 or ULT. In terms of bass quality? The ANC 2 has higher quality bass, but no amount of haptics from either of the Crushers will ever be able to compete with actual dynamic drivers in terms of bass quality, or depth.
@@uraniyumb3097 Thats fair enough, but I used to previously own Sony XB 500, they were dynamic drivers but to me, ( I still have them),/the Evos would destroy them and I did test both on my Android phone. Those headphones i swore by, had dynamic drivers, 40mm but sound and bass were not even close to evo. They sounded garbage on Android, on my PC with amp they sounded badass, but the crushers are deeper by a hundred miles. As for ANC 2, vibration is too much and doesntbsound better than evo according to a lot of reviews. ULT sound worse from reviews online.
