I'm a big fan of the crushers, bass and Sony, so I don't think I ever clicked a video this fast.
As an owner of the crushers since their first version, I can really say that there is nothing out there that can compete in terms of bass. I had the first version of beats studio, that was the cleanest bass I've ever heard in some headphones, however, the crushers really do pound your head. No joke, you can see the frame of your glasses shake sometimes, feel your ear wax vibrate in your ears. It's crazy and I love them. They're loud but obviously they won't be your best for fidelity.
I have the sony xm4 as well, got them free with my xperia 1. I honestly do not know what the fuss is about. They have exactly 2 qualities. Crisp audio and insane noise canceling. They make you feel like you are inside a grave. The touch commands are a cool trick but not enough to leave the bass of the crushers behind. The battery is the same on both pairs of headphones. I have never heard so little bass as on the xm4 ever. It sounds horrible to me. You can distinguish every detail, but there is literally 0 bass. If the xm5 are similar, I wonder how much bass the ult have by comparison?
@mihaiserbanescu8676 do you have the skullcandy skullcrushers? (Not the first skullcandy crushers)? And the 360s?

@@Neopumper666 I had the skullcandy skull crushers, which were their first generation, they had an AA battery amplifier on the cord and it was a little bit ridiculous, I had the second gen which they did in Bluetooth and they were called crushers and now I have the 3rd gen crushers evo (the ones flossy has). I don`t think I could use them more or abuse them more as I use them outside, inside, in the rain or cold, they are bulletproof and sound amazing. For someone that likes bass, you don`t care about the fakeness, you just want your head to rattle, and they do that very successfully. I didn`t try the ANC ones, I wonder if they are any better. Hopefully they bring a new generation out. What I would like to hear is more fidelity. I want the sounds to be a bit more defined. At the moment they have this huge heavy bass that is like a car sub, it`s great but could be better in fidelity. I love the Idea though and nobody seems to compare in actual bass power.

They're insane. I compare them to my old XB900n's and their isn't much difference at all. One of the best value headphones on the market, a must if you're a bass head on a tight budget.

@@GavinMufclee - the ANC 2 is a little louder and the Crusher sensory bass is a little stronger.
Because with the Evo, at times when I want more volume, I wish it would be a bit louder - and the ANC 2 gives me that!!
Just like what Flossy said in his ANC 2 review, cannot max out the EQ or it will distort in max volume.
I think the ANC 2 sounds a little better when tuned with the right EQ because the Evo doesn't offer a personalised EQ just 3 pre-sets.
But I think the Evo is better for the gym or workouts because the top of the headband is not cloth material which would absorb sweat in the ANC 2.
I would buy the ANC 2 again.

I was watching a lot of headphone reviews last month since I wanted to get myself a good pair… and so I found about your channel. Love your reviews man, you’re the goat. From thinking of getting the Tozo HT2s, and then Sony WHCH720n, then almost decided to go for the Sony XB910n, but then saw Sennheiser Accentum and Momentum series, my mind was filled up with confusion. But after all, I just went all in and got myself the Bose Quietcomfort 45. Some people suggested me Sony XM4 since it was coming around the same price with more features but I just felt that the QC45 had more charm to it even just by the looks xd! And after knowing that there was an update that provided custom EQ to the QC45 which wasn’t there at launch, it was an easy choice for me. Seeing your videos tho, developed an interest in me to keep watching your reviews either I’m interested in getting that product or not. I hope my decision to go for the QC45 was right and hope it proves to be as good as, or even better than what Sony releases in the near future like the ULT Wear.
If you want the top of the line ANC headphones, you can’t go wrong with the Bose!

I don’t care if the skullcrushers aren’t real bass…. They get me JUICED. I loved my old ones and might have to upgrade to the evos. That bass is bad ass
I’d love to hear your opinions on the soundcore space A40s. I just got them earlier this week and I love them.
Definitely the Crushers are in a league of their own, but when Floss said that these Ult deliver more bass than the XM5, that fact relieved me a lot, I owned the XM4 and the XB910 and the bass on those headphones were not enough and according to other reviews the XM5 have the same "issue". Long time ago I had a the Crushers BT like in 2018, and they really blowed me away specially with that haptic bass and I''m sure Crushers got better with all these years, but I'm not longer that hardcore bass head or at least not like used to be, so I rather pick these ULT due to their versatility, I think that's the word, putting the ULT against the XM5, man these ULT should sound amazing if they can almost compete neck to neck in sound quality with Sony's top of the line, great review Floss, as always!!!

Hey Shoes! 😊 Whiteshoes has never been more invested in a product review so yeah I'm definitely buying this Sony ULT Wear. But honestly I think it is wise for Sony to play in this lower price range with this XM5 lite. Nobody spending 400 pounds in a saturated headphones market just to get some good bass.

Crusher ANC2 went on sale for $130 and that was a really hard deal to beat, but the way they manufactured these to fold up? 😮💨 could for sure compete for some gym headphones.
I don’t even look for ANC in cans, so I might have to check these out when they hit their first sale.
The Crushers would be better if they had the auto-pause, auto-off, and a mute button the way the Sonys implement.

The more I see these headphones, the more they give me XM4 vibes. The design, the packaging and contents are so similar to the WH-1000XM4s. It’s basically them, but now with the added extra of having a bass boost button.

The Sony XM5 is the first headset that had bass that left me perfectly happy. But this is making me curious.
are the xm5 good ? im thinking to buy one with good ANC
@_humanoid_4k233 I also have the samsung galaxy buds 2 pro. The buds don't work nearly as good as the over ear xm5's. The xm5's also don't create a strange pressure in your ears. I love them.

Skull candy crusher Evo really set the bar extremely high. I love mine. It's really under rated.....
It’s not underrated it’s just specialized for people that like bass
I love mine too! They're unbeatable in terms of bass and I think no sony will come close unfortunately. At that price point or any price point, you can't get more bass than this.
