Just started using this thing. Been using xb900n from last 2 yrs. And post using this thing I found xb900n was way better in terms of sound quality.ult has overall volume much low with liter base. It can produce punchy bass, dont get me wrong but xb900n had thumping bass that too at much louder sound without distortions. I personally found ult is not at all an upgrade over xb900n or 910. Moreover xb900n hsd a perticular setting within sony connect app whete you could set how you want to feel the sound coming from is it a large hsll, or small room, coming from front or not. That feature is not for ult. Msking the overall experience a dip.
Your ult wear is a dud, just upgraded yesterday after 5 years of the xb900n and the ult wear are WAY louder, like 50% volume on these ults are like 80% on the xb900n. The bass is not even comparable too, ult 1 have more bass than my old xb900n. These are the best sounding headphones I've ever tried as someone who's a basshead.
I thought it was just me. To get the best out of these you have to play these at lower volumes. If you turn it all the way up they bottom out and sound like trash.
Problem is your using Spotify and your eq will be on bass and then ya got ya bass on the Sony software yours is the only trash review Are you a actual reviewer as I have these and 5 other people have them an NON are distorted
@@dreamingthelife That is indeed what he said, I’m not sure what he’s talking about. I own the ULT’s, to me they sound great and I haven’t experienced any bass distortion.
You never lied about when you see that FedEx truck arrive with your delivery! Your audio is good. You can't go wrong with grey. 😃
Right? 🤣 and glad it never distorted. I like that gray more than I thought...

@@EccentechI just got them, but my Crusher ANC2's shit all over them. These are extremely overrated. Your review is spot on👍

@@EccentechI thought Flossy liked them and that to him they sounded better than the XM5's but no where near what he likes like Crushers
