The Skullcandies have a separate motor that provides the bass not the driver itself it would be impossible

No one does bass better than Skullcandy Crusher, so not shocked. There is one other earbud though that does the same. Like have a seperate driver for bass. It is absolutely insane

It is possible to push more bass out of a driver. But in order to do that, you would need an external DAC amplifier. It won’t work through Bluetooth.

They use a metal spring like diaphram instead of the plastic/rubber that most drivers use. More low end vibrations but cant hear anything in high end

@@doridori727 I see the more "theatrical" and high emphasis on surround sound to be excessive. If you have extremely good base and above average sound quality, both of which can be changed according to each song or video you listen or watch, I think the crusher anc 2 takes the win for it. It's just more versatile.

Did you try and use the personalised sound and the eq, it makes a huge difference on the skullcandy

Yeah it does make a good difference. The soundstage opens up quite a bit. Loved that feature.

I'm lost as to how most comparison videos claim SkullCandy Crusher headphones only sound good with certain music genres when I have the Evo's sounding amazing with any genre's, I use the headphone cable that comes with the Original Crusher Wireless connwcted to a Dac and the quality of sound produced is amazing. You can connect a Moondrop Dawn Dac to jam out to some Rock/Metal like I do with some Sevendust or you can blow your head away with some rap, connect to a Audirect Atom 3 Dac and let the bass take you to a place only car stereos with subwoofers can take you to, and as far as I'm concerned neither Bose or Sony come close to the Crusher Evo's, another thing is ANC is a gimmick, if you can cancel out sound with bass who cares about ANC, it's an overpriced gimmick that is overhyped, lomg live the Crushers

@@thejmanfrfr-yr3js It's great, really impressive. It's only a bit less detailed than twice expensive bluetooth headphones and they have the Crushers which boom along with the bass. Only problem with my set is one of the 4 ANC mic's broke and is playing a buzzing noise, however unlike the more expensive BOSE and Senheiser Acentum headphones - you can turn the ANC off so it's not a problem. It's a shame because I liked having them on my head with no music playing with ANC on just for comfort and peace. I got them on sale for 170 euro, they now went back to 210 euro price. And at 210 compared to the 400 - 500 euro Sennheiser and BOSE it really wins.

​@@thejmanfrfr-yr3jsI would say that If you're looking for great sound, choose something else, but If you just want something better than your earbuds and blast your head this are fire, If you like rock or anything similar I wouldn't recommend them, the bass just can't reproduce a pleasant sound with all those instrumentals going on

@@GeoAlex1 What do you recommend instead? I'm looking to get myself a set of quality headphones, but so far the crusher anc 2 seems like my go to option. The base is adjustable, I believe you can just adjust it according to the song you listen to so the base doesn't take over all the sound. I'm an enthusiast of metal/nu metal, I grew up listening to it, so I am willing to look further into what would be a better purchase than the crushers anc 2.

It’s quite simple Sony xm5 is for people who want sound quality and the crusher anc 2 are for people who want bass for those bass heads and jus overall a fun pair of headphones I own both and I can say I barely use the Sony xm5

nada que ver con semejantes lujosos yo tenia hace bastante tiempo unos Sony Wh-ch720n que hace tiempo me costaron como 3000 pesos, al dañarse a muerte no tenia mucho efectivo decidí buscar unos no de tan alto precio pero muy estudiados o revisados encontre los Baseus Bowie D05 Bluetooth 5.3 a menos de 500 pesos se me hizo muy barato pero quería calarlos, oh mi sorpresa para mi se escucha igual o incluso un poco mejor que los Sony que tenia y tan baratos la verdad no lo esperaba. claro solo es mi opinión personal no soy conocedor de audio profesional, saludos

🤪I have both.The XM5 sounds better.20% or so better i think.
But if y want a big ,i mean a realy realy big Fun-Bass-Party in and on y head the Crusher is incredible,insane.I guarantee y heard never a headphone bass like this !
So for me the XM5 is for daily music, the Crusher for bass-fun-partys in and on my head😝🤪😋
And excelent for movies and atmos headphone.
