Investing $20,000 in an energy mutual fund and expecting a return of $3,000 every three months would mean a 15% quarterly return, or a 60% annual return. This is extremely high and unrealistic for most investments, including mutual funds. Most mutual funds, even those in high-risk sectors like energy, do not generate such high consistent returns. Additionally, mutual funds typically do not pay out returns in a quarterly distribution manner but rather reinvest earnings or pay annual dividends.

How so? By lying. This is what's wrong with everyone today... you hear some shit on the internet and immediately believe it's true. Do you think it's hard to save $20,000? If everyone could make an extra $12,000 a year by simply saving $20,000... don't you think they would?!? That would mean you were getting 60% return on your $20,000 investment, every year, for you to get a $12,000 return. Is it possible for that to happen? Maybe once, if you are lucky. Here's something that you should learn about the internet: if it is financial advice on the internet and available for free, it is most likely complete bs. Assuming arguendo that he meant $200k according to your estimation and/or interpretation, that's too much money tide up for a measly 7.1% annually! White Boy 'John Cappas' from 'Chicago' who once was a 'Drug Kingpin' in the 80's bought 12 Kilo's of Columbian Cocaine with $200,000 dollars and turned it into a quick million dollars before he knew it. And the next thing he knew, he was being fronted up to 500 Kilo's from the 'Columbian's' before he got busted by the 'Fed's! Said if he had invested that same $200k into buying a bunch of vending machines or several self car washes or universal life insurance! He still would've became a millionaire legally in a short period of time, and never had to serve 20-years in the 'Fed's! But he thought that the drug game was the fastest way to grow his money! Because the so-called financial consultants he spoke to back then were trying to have him give them his money e.g. $200k for allegedly weak azz investment that only would've net him annually less than 10% returns on his money! The point I believe he was making is that other people wanted to use your money to flip it ten to twenty times for you to only receive 10% or less off of your money! Anyway, he learned a lot about financial literacy and business while being in the 'Fed's!' And now, believe it or not, he has portable 'Vienna Beef Hot Dogs' stands! Making legal money and all of his 'hot dogs' stands are profitable doing way better than 7.1 % annually returns. Imagine that, and that's all I got !!!

Umm, what? Too bad literally everything he said is completely wrong? $3,000 in your Roth IRA every year is only $600k after 40 years, not "$3.7 million". There is no such thing as an energy mutual fund, or any mutual fund for that matter, that returns 15% per fucking quarter. That's 60% per year. Mutual funds pay more like 6% per year.
@jaxjr121 Except that it's almost entirely pie-in-the-sky nonsense. I'm hoping it's just staged/scripted, but even then, it's kinda messed up to put this kind of misguided "advice" out there with no disclaimer.
@jaxjr121 I don't have the best answers by any stretch. But an important key to capitalizing on investment is to start early, don't stop contributing, and let it sit. There are no get-rich-quick schemes without big risks. Not like this guy's fantasy 60% return.

Since covid, people are so dumb about finance. Thank you for correcting this nonsense.

Kevin ain't lying. Gas prices aren't going down and we aren't using less electricity. Solid advice.
$20,000 and you get 3 grand every 90 days… sounds baloney. Any evidence of
this??? So $60,000 would be 9 grand every 90 days. I call bullshit.

Kevin is lying through his teeth about the interest rates though. Morgan Stanley will pay out 3k on 20k about every 500 days lol
It’s called investing, yes it’s real. Every payment in 90 days is called your dividends and you can reinvest it as well which is very beneficial
It’s a market. Better hope the investment pays off 😂
Roth is legit but he wrong about Morgan Stanley he'll be lucky to make money in 10 yrs
Literally not true haha
He’s somewhat correct. 20k will not get you 3k every 90 days. From what I’ve seen these dividends only pay out small amounts. You would need probably a couple hundred thousand of that specific stock to pay you close to that.

That’s a huge lie. $3g every 90 days is $12k a year, or 55% of 20k, no energy mutual funds give you that. Crazy

Uhhhh the country was built on slavery…
These are the type of videos that should be going viral between our ppl but we've been conditioned for so long to hate each other, hate ourselves and hate to put our money into anything other than drugs
Also invest in real estate. Even it it's a small house in the hood, rent it. Use that money to buy another or better house or duplex
Start small and move up. It can be done. We spend more money on clothes, shoes and jewelry than ANY culture.
