Hi. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a comment. Yes the narrowboats were pulled by horses in days gone by. Full families lived and worked on them full time. It must have been a hard life. 👍❤️

We bought a sunken narrowboat shell that had been on fire then refitted it out and lived on it for 15 years then sold it to buy a newer narrowboat in good condition tha we have now lived on for 7 years. Love watching your travels thank you for sharing hope to see you both on the canals one day.

The wooden boat could easily be re floated using pallets to repair the hull & also use some no more aqua nails silicone. The last steel boat pull it out & cut it up for scrap or use the metal to make a water feature.
Hi there, how great to hear from you and to know you are enjoying our little waterways adventures. There are lots more to come, we've done around 80 so far so plenty to watch. Keep dropping us comments with any questions or thoughts. Happy Christmas xx

Your probably use to it But I think it is so Kool you can open walkways as needed and close them Here in the US there isn't anything like that I like that life have fun for me
Hi Dan. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a comment. Yes it’s a great thing that we as boaters can deal with the traffic ourselves. We are respectful though and wait until it’s quiet before opening the swing bridges. 👍❤️
Absolutely would attempt salvage on the third one on the Thames.Wouldnt want to leave it too long in the water though before getting her out and into dry dock again. The other two though are probably past it and off to the knackers yard sadly. Very sad when this happens, but it does.. my dad had a little boat much like the middle one of the three, and it was moored up on our local river spot, we had a deluge of rain and flash flooding and dad couldnt get anywhere near her to attempt a rescue and down she went. :-( After the water receeded we did get down there and oh dear me, what a mess. Got the hull out and I do know he and some mates did some work on her, but no idea if she was ever re floated or used again (as a teenager boats werent my thing then)
Hi John James, yes we loved the journey and so pleased you enjoyed it. The GU is proving lovely and we’re loving exploring it. Keep watching lots more fun and sights to come 😃
Scotch bonnet, you brave, I bought some chopped them up, threw them into my curry, never in my life have I struggled to get a curry, I was in physical pain that night, did not realise I had perforated my stomach ulcer, real stupid move🥴
Hi again John We love chilli. Too many scotch bonnet chillis can cause problems as you say. Must have been awful perforating an ulcer. I shudder to think how many chillis you put into your curry? 👍❤️
A decent winch and maybe a home made block with 12 falls on it and you could slowly drag that boat onto the bank, or high enough to patch the hole and pump her out, After that a quick inspect and she is good to go. Not a huge problem. In fact a 12 fall block and a decent capstan on the front of a four wheel drive would pull her out as long as you were anchored to the tree close to the capstan. The most important piece of gear is plenty of good rope, if you did it properly most of the water would leave the vessel as she slid up the bank, Its a very simple salvage, i have done a few of them. If i was a local the first job is speaking to the owner and then the insurance people. Please tell me exactly where she is.
Wow what great information, maybe you should rescue her!! She was just north of Wallingford. Not sure if she is still there. Such a sad sad sight. Thank you so much for your comment, we really appreciate you taking the time to message us. So pleased you enjoyed.
If I could keep the narrowboat after re floating her then, most definitely yes. Even if I had to get in to the water in a swimming suit with small pumps, I would bring her back up, just so I can finally have a home to call my own.
My 60 ft NB was completly burnt out and sunk when i got it for scrap price, i rebuilt it and im now living in it, its a big project but if you are not paying for your own time it works out well in the end.
Hi Keith. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a comment. Your right about the engine. Fresh water damage can be solved but it would take a lot of money and time.. 👍
My first thought about worth it? was it would have to be totally gutted and rebuilt, or you would never get rid or prevent mold and mildew. Might be worth it if you could buy it cheap enough. Wouldnt the boat insurance cover the loss and make them responsble for clearing it? Or have they wriggled out of that? Nice video.
Thanks for the comment and so pleased to hear you love the video. We’ve had so many interesting comments about the re-floating and restoration of the boat. We understand it’s now been done 👍. Hope you’re managing to watch some of our other episodes xx
About the sunken boat a lot depends on what the leak is. A pipe or hull penetration would be an easy fix. A hole in the hull would require a survey to gauge how extensive the rust/weakness was. A DIY man with welding skills could patch up and fair in a good lot of hull fairly cheaply.
Hi Burchell so wonderful to hear from you. We love reading and responding to all our comments. We totally agree with you, so many boats which could provide valuable accommodation and homes for people. It’s such a relaxing way of life… do you fancy trying it? 😄

Nice video, I live in Canada where i don't know of any narrow boats here, where i live in Manitoba we about 100k lakes and the boating season here is only 5 months max and then the cold winter sets in, i have relatives all over the UK and a great uncle who told my dad of days i think he said North or near Birmingham narrow boats being Drawn heavy horse teams moving coal or other raw material about 140 years ago, I would not reflect a boat with that much damage especially to the hull of it, your hull looked to be of steel of some sort, which will last and stand the test of time much better than wood will, and probably less hull maintenance with metal and the quality of coatings to go onto hulls nowadays are so much more corrosion resistance, to reflect and refit one of those boats must be a staggering amount of money, guessing 100k sterling, i know you'd save a ton of it doing the refit yourselves, it does basically become your floating home, houseboat so to speak, it is a very unique way to live and travel that not allot of countries have or can offer to people such as yourselves, much more so in the UK or Western Europe is my guess ,lots of history of canals, now its summer enjoy where the narrowboat takes you two 👍
Great to hear from you and thank you for all the information about the network and your knowledge. Our subscribers will love reading all about it. We love our narrowboat way of life. Hope to hear from you again. Enjoy the rest of our videos. Jac & Michael x
Sunken steel hulls takes a long time to degrade ,steel rust slow when there is not mutch oxygen available. Especially in fresh water . Engines can often be saved if they are treated and cleaned fast after refloating . If the is reusable depends on prior condition and that hull is not totally destroyed prior to sinking that is . Eben burnt out steelboats can be often saved.
Hi Staffan, great comment thanks for taking the time to message us. We love reading them all. You clearly come from a position of knowledge and experience, great to hear your thoughts 👍👍. We hope you continue to enjoy our vlogs.
Hi Graham thanks 🙏 for taking the time to drop us a comment. Yes quite a few people agree with you. Maybe when the river has calmed down someone will?? We’ll see if we can find out. 😀
I have worked on two sunk engines the first was a Cummins engine the dipstick tube was above the rocker cover and that was the water level removed the inlet manifold and drained the sump turned the engine backwards by hand and the pistons came up pushing the water out a new starter motor was fitted and the engine fired up you should have seen the look on the owners face when it started
I would most definitely save that narrow boat if only I was in the area I would only have used a couple of shire horses to have pulled the boat once I done a complete assessment over the boat
Sunken boat.... Anything can be fixed if you have the time and energy, engine, no problem, rebuild it or throw another one in it. Every task is simply a task, just some tasks are bigger than others. Never be afraid to have a go at anything.
Hi. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a comment. You are exactly right my friend. Time, patience, knowledge and … lots of cash can sort these projects. 👍❤️
Surely from a purchasers point of view, its cheaper to buy a sunken boat and refurbish than buy a build from new hull. With all the superstructure involved, its better to strip out and refit, than buying all that new steel, main problem tracking down who the actual owner is? Better to share working through locks as it halves the work, but saves water, which you didn't mention, naughty, naughty.
Hi Frank. Thanks for your comment. Like you say, with the current price of steel you’d think it would be cheaper to re float and refurb. We always try to share locks as you saw, and ad you say it does save water which jaq mentioned. It all helps keep the canal water levels in order. 👍❤️
I'm a carpenter so yes, I could do all the work. The only way I would take on the job is if the hull was good, the boat was free and it was stored at a place on the hard that didn't charge that much space rent and allowed me to do the work under a contract so that I wouldn't be kicked out for any reason unless I didn't pay my rent of course. The engines would have had to be not running at the time of the sinking in order for them to still be good. If the engines were running than the engines are gone.
Hi Robert, thanks for your great comment about the sunken boat and perfect suggestions. We don't know if it is still there, hoping someone has lifted or towed it away and is re-fitting as we speak??? So pleased you have taken the time to message us we so appreciate it.
if the hull is intact, it could be airbagged, and pumped out, then a resto job if you are handy, topsides looks in good nick. wonder what the insurance would sell it for?
Hi David. ‘Ya gotta get in quick’ as the kids say! The most amusing part about the leek is that jaq didn’t realise there was a joke there when she filmed! Once I pointed it out she said ‘oh yes I see’ ! I give up! 👍❤️🤣🤣
Re : the sunken narrowboat , everything is salvageable if your prepared to throw the time , effort and money at it , to crane it out ( provided the crane can get to it ) would cost between £600 to £800 for the hire of the crane ( probably more in certain areas ) then the fun begins , its a sad sight but sometimes you just have to cut your loses .
It was a shame to see those boats in distress , somebody would have to be a dedicated D I Yer to take on those jobs , not for me though . Nice vlog today , just subscribed , look forward to your next adventure , take care you 2
Hi Scott so pleased you are finding our adventures relaxing. Gosh we pay about £7-8 a gallon here at times. It's expensive. Thanks for taking the time to comment we really appreciate it.
Hi John. Sorry we didn’t show the lock operation. It’s tricky sometimes to include everything. We do film a lot. We will try to show the lock operation soon 👍❤️
Is the bottom of narrow boat a thin layer of copper? The bridge operated by key and push button was interesting. Does flooding happen in the canals causing sinkage or lack of maintenance and slow leaks? Thank you for taking me through the picteresque canals of England. You going to watch the coranation of King Charles?
Hi Richard. There are many reasons they sink from poor maintenance to run off gulleys getting blocked. The bottom is usually steel as @JohnShaw says. Not sure if we will get to the Coronation but it would be great to do so👍❤️
Love boats and campervans, but almost impossible in this Country now that is safe to do either. Just returned from Northern Spain, (Atlantic side) parking by beaches and nature reserves, no problem/no fees. With water taps and showers on most beaches. But mostly no chavs or plebs, from Britain.

Hi 👋 thanks for you comment it’s lovely to hear from you. It’s an amazing adventure for us and we’re so pleased to be able to bring it to you 😀. Keep watching we post a new video every Wednesday.
Hi, Great content yet again and what a question. My heart would say yes to a project like that but my head would say stay away. Unfortunately it would all depend on costs for transportation, cranage and hard standing and whether it would be easier to buy a brand new bare shell.
Hi Andrew 🙏 so much for taking the time to leave us a comment we so appreciate it. Yes we think our head and heart would be the same. It would be an amazing challenge don’t you think 🤔. So pleased you are enjoying our channel. Lots more fun and games to come, keep watching 😀
Hi, Thank you for the reply. I think the hard work would be taking everything out and cleaning up the silt. You'd have to take it back to being a bare shell. It would certainly be a labour of love
Thanks for taking the time to drop us a comment. So many people have said that to us since watching it. We know it's been re-floated and removed from the site now.
First boat a total scrapper , 2nd , maybe ? At what cost ? How much 2nd hand ? Get some inflatable bags underneath , pump out the water , get a decent patch on , to get to a shipyard . Last boat a real shame . Can only budget so much , getting out , got to shipyard , complete interior , back to bones . Then to fix what sank her ? Not my field of expertise , no welder . Just the logistics of getting the boat out , draining/ pumping / displacing water inside . Then just lift out onto a longbed trailer just waiting close ? No trees nearby ? And an easy route to the shipyard ? Frankly , would try the displacement route , with scuba gear . Or get really cheeky and as the Worlds Best ship recovery guy here in SA :-)
Hi Scott, great comments and yes so many things to consider when deciding if the boat is worth reflecting, it is so so sad to see. Maybe you are the man for it...
Screw taking the sunk green boat any where . Id use winches to up right it. A gas powered water pump to refloat it, Give engine oil change as well as all components grease etc.
If people saw people talking things out of the boat while it was sinking then it can't be that bad to fix where the water was coming from.. so yes I believe it can be saved and given another life
Hi Thank you for taking the time to leave us a comment. Lots of skilled people like yourself have said the same. It would be great to get you all together and bring the boat back to life! 👍❤️
My friends used to do seasonal boating on the canals and his Mrs's was always the deckhand doing the donkey work. There were times when she even ended up in the canal !
Hi Henry, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a comment. Jaq and I like to swap roles, so sometimes she’s at the helm and I do the locks and then we swap round. 👍❤️
Hi Ghost, great comment thank you 🙏. Yes we are to, logistics must be a real problem. Plus when the river is so swollen it’s just not safe to bring another boat along side 🫣.
The Canal Trust seems to be quick to issue ticket for overstaying, but not so quick to keep the Canal clear of derelict boats and trash.

Loved your Bristol visit.Tried to persuade one of my daughters to attend university there but she twigged that it was more for my benefit not hers.!!!!Keep up the stories.
Hi Ian.
Shame your powers of persuasion didn’t do the trick! It’s a great city and the harbour area was really nice. 👍❤️
If I lived over there. I would definitely give it a try. I think Tony boats are wonderful. I lived on a 30 foot sailboat for 10 years.
You'd love it x Thanks for the comment.
P.S. Love your boat ! 👍🏻😎👍🏻
And again so soon, lovely to know that. Thank you xx
I have not seen a kingfisher since I was a boy 50 yrs ago many thanks
Hi Tony,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a comment.
We are so pleased you like our Kingfisher footage. It’s a spectacular shot as they are so difficult to catch on camera but we got lucky and our camera was waiting as we saw him fly into the tree he took off from. 👍❤️
I miss my boating day, and now I'm disabled. I love watching these videos bring back happy memories of tripping up over a morning rope and falling in the canal everybody laughing then I I SAID one word b**** to everybody
Hi and so lovely to hear from you. We love knowing that our videos bring back so many memories, hope you didn't injure yourself falling over a rope!!! Accidents can happen so easily can't they. Keep watching we've got our Leeds Liverpool adventures coming out soon. xx
Great vid
Thanks 🙏 so lovely to know you are enjoying 😀
The wooden boat could easily be re floated using pallets to repair the hull & also use some no more aqua nails silicone. The last steel boat pull it out & cut it up for scrap or use the metal to make a water feature.
Thanks for your great comment, so helpful.
How many have you done that way?
The process should be called Desinkifying.
😂

Hi there, how great to hear from you and to know you are enjoying our little waterways adventures. There are lots more to come, we've done around 80 so far so plenty to watch. Keep dropping us comments with any questions or thoughts. Happy Christmas xx
The water at the Tring summit used to be topped up by an artesian well . That brick structure by the lock .
Hi George.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a comment.
Ah! So that’s what is was. Thanks for the info. 👍❤️
That’s not just any ‘train line’, that’s the west coast Mainline… I’ve worked there and visited that boat yard. It’s beautiful around there, another great video.
Hi.
We are glad you liked the latest episode. Must be good to see where you worked and visited. We get used to train lines now as they run alongside the canals as lot as you know
Take care 👍❤️
I think you would probably be throwing good money after bad trying to restore that boat unfortunately. Another interesting VLOG, thank you.
Hi Dom. It’s a question that is dividing everyone. One that if you had the skills would be an amazing project. Thanks so much for the comment. We love reading them. J & M 😄
Berkhamstead is really lovely i live there xxxx
Hi Yvonne. Yes we thought it looked really lovely and we will stop and spend some time there next time we are passing. Thanks for taking the time to drop us a comment. It means a lot to us. J&M x
Greetings from Florida. Your lifestyle looks like a relaxing way to get away from the Rat RACE. Will be looking forward to your travels through your canals😎✌️
Hi Kenneth.
Thank you for saying hi and leaving us a comment from FL.
Michaels sister lives in FL too. We know the state well. Boca Raton is an area we have spent lots of time.
👍❤️
I would refloat that just for the challenge! So now I will subscribe and watch it later 👍
Hi Patch…
Thank you for taking time to leave us a comment.
We are pretty sure it will get re floated soon. It doesn’t look so beyond repair not to.
We post a new video every Wednesday so lots more interesting content coming up.
👍❤️
Im living on my second salvaged boat and i would definitely do it it again
Hi Alan. Wow that’s incredible to hear bet you’ve got an amazing story to tell. Thank you so much for leaving us a comment we really appreciate it. Would imagine many people will have questions for you 😀
Your probably use to it But I think it is so Kool you can open walkways as needed and close them Here in the US there isn't anything like that I like that life have fun for me
Hi Dan.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a comment.
Yes it’s a great thing that we as boaters can deal with the traffic ourselves. We are respectful though and wait until it’s quiet before opening the swing bridges.
👍❤️
Apart from the lochs and bad weather the cruising looks w to me.
It's amazing, we love it.
Got the hull out and I do know he and some mates did some work on her, but no idea if she was ever re floated or used again (as a teenager boats werent my thing then)
What a nice journey today. Some beautiful English country. Thank you.
Hi again John
We love chilli.
Hi Sarah it would of made a lovely home once refloated. Maybe you should take on the project.x
My 60 ft NB was completly burnt out and sunk when i got it for scrap price, i rebuilt it and im now living in it, its a big project but if you are not paying for your own time it works out well in the end.
Wow that sound incredible well done 👍
I would take it on. Even the engine is recoverable it's fresh water.
Hi Keith.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a comment.
Your right about the engine. Fresh water damage can be solved but it would take a lot of money and time.. 👍
Hi
Sounds like your rudder creaking 😮😮
Hi Phil.
A creaking rudder??
Maybe it’s my old bones!
👍❤️
My first thought about worth it? was it would have to be totally gutted and rebuilt, or you would never get rid or prevent mold and mildew. Might be worth it if you could buy it cheap enough. Wouldnt the boat insurance cover the loss and make them responsble for clearing it? Or have they wriggled out of that? Nice video.
Thanks for the comment and so pleased to hear you love the video. We’ve had so many interesting comments about the re-floating and restoration of the boat. We understand it’s now been done 👍. Hope you’re managing to watch some of our other episodes xx
No ! A Leak in the in the cut ! 🤣😅😂
Hmmm.... thanks for taking the time to leave us a comment, great to hear from you.
About the sunken boat a lot depends on what the leak is. A pipe or hull penetration would be an easy fix. A hole in the hull would require a survey to gauge how extensive the rust/weakness was. A DIY man with welding skills could patch up and fair in a good lot of hull fairly cheaply.
We have since heard that the boat has been saved, refloated and is someones cruising home, great to know that. Thanks for your comment x
Almost every boat is worth saving, just depends on how bad you want to do it, an what you want to use it for
Hi Burchell so wonderful to hear from you. We love reading and responding to all our comments. We totally agree with you, so many boats which could provide valuable accommodation and homes for people. It’s such a relaxing way of life… do you fancy trying it? 😄
New subscriber here great content

Welcome aboard.

Better a leek in the canal than a leak in the boat
😂😂😂so true
Yes I would re float it.
Hi Graham thanks 🙏 for taking the time to drop us a comment. Yes quite a few people agree with you. Maybe when the river has calmed down someone will?? We’ll see if we can find out. 😀
@@cruisingontheborder Hi recently subscribed and lived on boats for years, ( Not on canals) Well worth lifting and drying out in the nearest yard.
@@cruisingontheborder I bet you are having a Vino as we speak.
Hi Graham.
We might be doing just that!!
👍❤️
👍👍👍
I have worked on two sunk engines the first was a Cummins engine the dipstick tube was above the rocker cover and that was the water level removed the inlet manifold and drained the sump turned the engine backwards by hand and the pistons came up pushing the water out a new starter motor was fitted and the engine fired up you should have seen the look on the owners face when it started
I would most definitely save that narrow boat if only I was in the area I would only have used a couple of shire horses to have pulled the boat once I done a complete assessment over the boat
Hi Paul.
The horse power sounds a great option.
Thanks for taking the time to leave us a comment. ❤️👍
Ridiculous.
The last thing you need is a leek on your boat!! 😁
I'll get my coat.
😂
🤣 I was thinking that but not brave enough to say it
@@johnshaw4140 Ah. You only live once! (Unless you're a Buddhist)..... As the caliph of badgags, I have no shame! 😀
Hi Percy 😂😂 love your comment. Thank you 🙏
@Cruising on the Border Thanks! I'm loving your videos! 😉
If you ever come up to Edinburgh I will buy you guys a meal with wine of your choice
Ray wow how lovely. It's great to have you with us. Happy Christmas xx
The canal that you guys passed through a while back in Dunham has collapsed. I’m sure you did a video from there. Not far from lymm : )
if the hull is intact, it could be airbagged, and pumped out, then a resto job if you are handy, topsides looks in good nick. wonder what the insurance would sell it for?
Hi John.
Thanks for the comment. Yes we have seen boats re floated with airbags and as you say the topsides don’t look too bad. 👍❤️
Another eventful vlog was going to say something about the leek but someone got there first dam 😅
Hi Bruce.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a comment.
As you say.. it would be doable but.. phew what a job. Not one for us I think. 👍❤️
There’s a risk the sunken boat has terminal corrosion but what does a bare boat shell cost? Looks worth going in wearing wetsuit etc.
It was a shame to see those boats in distress , somebody would have to be a dedicated D I Yer to take on those jobs , not for me though . Nice vlog today , just subscribed , look forward to your next adventure , take care you 2
Hi John thank you so much for subscribing 👍. Great to read your comments. It would make an incredible DIY project 😯. Look after yourself too.
The bones are all that matter !
They are, so true.
Also I will buy you guys a coffee soon
Wow thank you that is such a kind and thoughtful gesture 👍
May the question should be getting it out of the water or salvaging it(eestoring it)!
Maybe David you are right 💪💪
Super relaxed , been some years since I was back in the UK , wonder what you pay / gallon ? 4 Pound 50 p here .
Hi Scott so pleased you are finding our adventures relaxing. Gosh we pay about £7-8 a gallon here at times. It's expensive. Thanks for taking the time to comment we really appreciate it.
The boat yard is in Bourne End between Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted.
Hi Thank you for your comment. It’s interesting to know where the yard is. 👍❤️
@@cruisingontheborder I can see the boat yard from my kitchen window.
I was waiting for you to show us how to follow those lock instructions, we don’t see any of that in operation
Hi John.
Sorry we didn’t show the lock operation. It’s tricky sometimes to include everything. We do film a lot. We will try to show the lock operation soon
👍❤️
Is the bottom of narrow boat a thin layer of copper? The bridge operated by key and push button was interesting. Does flooding happen in the canals causing sinkage or lack of maintenance and slow leaks? Thank you for taking me through the picteresque canals of England. You going to watch the coranation of King Charles?
Not copper , the hull is generally made of steel , unless it's a very old boat in which case it would be a wooden construction
Hi there. We love you comment, thank you for taking the time to leave it. Great to hear about your travels, we loved northern Spain, perfect for Motor homes! Wild camping is the way forwards. We hope you continue to enjoy our channel 😀
I would love to boat around England.
Hi 👋 thanks for you comment it’s lovely to hear from you. It’s an amazing adventure for us and we’re so pleased to be able to bring it to you 😀. Keep watching we post a new video every Wednesday.
Berkhampstead was one of my favourite places to moor. It’s lovely . ( My husband was born and raised there) .
Hi Lynne
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a comment.
We really liked Berkhampsted. The waterside there is so lovely!
👍❤️
Hi,
Great content yet again and what a question.
Hi,
Thank you for the reply.
I think the hard work would be taking everything out and cleaning up the silt. You'd have to take it back to being a bare shell.
It would certainly be a labour of love
Hi Andrew.
Your right.. a lot of time, cash and patience required I think! 👍
i would re-float it, make it my new home.
Thanks for taking the time to drop us a comment. So many people have said that to us since watching it. We know it's been re-floated and removed from the site now.
I'd certainly try! If successful would that make it mine? 🤔
You could try and not sure about who has rights…. Thanks for the great comment 🙏🙏
Hi I think the 40 footer is a good size
Hi Nigel yes 40ft is good. Thanks for the comment love it.
Grown ups know them as railway lines!
Great comment, thanks for taking the time to message us. Look forward to hearing from you again. x
Screw taking the sunk green boat any where . Id use winches to up right it. A gas powered water pump to refloat it, Give engine oil change as well as all components grease etc.
Brilliant idea, guess you are an engineer with all that technical information. Thanks for the comment. J&M x
If people saw people talking things out of the boat while it was sinking then it can't be that bad to fix where the water was coming from.. so yes I believe it can be saved and given another life
We know it has been removed from the site and reflected, so fingers crossed for it.
I'd love to save and restore a narrow boat
I do a bit of wood work and would put my own stamp on it
Mostly reclaimed wood and skip wood 😊
Hi
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a comment.
Lots of skilled people like yourself have said the same. It would be great to get you all together and bring the boat back to life! 👍❤️
@@cruisingontheborder .yeah sounds like a plan, I'm in !

My friends used to do seasonal boating on the canals and his Mrs's was always the deckhand doing the donkey work. There were times when she even ended up in the canal !
Hi Henry,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a comment.
Jaq and I like to swap roles, so sometimes she’s at the helm and I do the locks and then we swap round.
👍❤️
Surprised sunken boats are not removed quickly.
Hi Ghost, great comment thank you 🙏. Yes we are to, logistics must be a real problem. Plus when the river is so swollen it’s just not safe to bring another boat along side 🫣.
